“This is a wonderful place to shop to help the environment and use secondhand items. Their prices are awesome. You can get a whole cardt full of dishes cups, pots pans all tor $3 ! Also, there is an area with some vintage items that may be priced a little higher &1 to $10 !They sell preowned furniture and it is in very good condition and clean. The prices are great you can get a recliner for around $25. They have tables and chairs and couches. There is arts and crafts, pictures and paintings extra chairs and holiday items. Lots of Christmas donations. Upstairs is the hardware department. There are ceiling fans ,hanging lamps, floor, tile, rugs, bathroom cabinets, and tubs, doors and windows. And so much more. The people who work there are mostly volunteers.
You never know what you may find here. I stop in whenever I go through new Kensington. It’s fun to look around.!”
“Creative Reuse is my favorite place on Earth. It is SO easy to find tons of strange, interesting and rare items here that one otherwise wouldn't be able to find elsewhere! I go almost every month to stock up on random cassette tapes to see what's on them (some great indie music finds here if you dig around), newspaper clippings and as many vintage Pittsburgh magnets possible. If you like crafts and unconventional decorations, this place is definitely for you!
Also, everyone that works here is super nice and the prices are usually super reasonable. Every bad review saying otherwise has either never stepped foot in Creative Reuse or are people who don't believe retail employees deserve respect. This is a store that should never go away!”
“This place is amazing.Computer reach addressed all my technological needs, and even some of my wants.I am so very grateful for all they have done for my family. They are very knowledgeable and are extremely helpful.I will recommend Computer Reach to anyone looking for tech supplies and gear.”
“I was greeted by a friendly guy telling me to sign my name and giving directions to get my taxes done for free. I was made to feel like I mattered. Thank you for that. I filled out a paper. It was passed on to the tax preparer. Who got it done in less than 30 minutes. I was amazed. They know their stuff and check each other's work. Awesome people and friendly ?☺️ Thank you all!!! ☺️”
“This is a membership venue, if you served in the military on foreign soil, then you can get full membership. If not you can still be a member but not have some rights. We love the place. Good food, great drinks and everyone is your best friend. It's a terrific place to go with lots of activities and bingo.”
“We attend the Legion for an organizational meeting every other month. The area is always spotless and today we found it nicely decorated for the holidays. Great job everyone and thank you.”
“This was our first time inside. It's a clean cute space for children. The staff was helpful and most importantly the children have fun. There is security present and you do need buzzed in, which makes it extra safe.”
“Fantastic organization in the Pitt area. I volunteered doing home deliveries and it's super organized! The app is great too. A great way to give back to our local community by providing food to people in need and combating food waste.”
“I can not say enough about how wonderful Habitat for Humanity was in helping me get a new furnace. It was an easy process and I no longer had to worry about being without heat. I had Mine and Andy come from JDC Heating and they were great! Efficient, thorough and very nice. If you are needing help I highly recommend you to get in touch with HFH.”
“This is the best St vincent de Paul store that I've been to. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This store has alot of $1 item clothing. You cant beat that price!! 5 stars”
“They don't take my insurance so they provide me FREE COUNSELING, with someone who is going for a higher degree and doing clinicals or something to that effect. What ever it is and however it works out its good. I get counseling once a week online. And this is the most comfortable I've been with a counselor in years. It's way better than alot of places my insurance paid for. And the staff are very nice and helpful and supportive.”
“I love the Burtner House! It's one of my favorite places. I hope the house can remain open for years to come & future generations can experience what it was like to live in a time of the past without modern amenities. If you haven't been there you should strongly consider attending the Strawberry Festival in June & the Fall Harvest Festival. If you join the "Burtner House Restoration Society" Facebook page, you can see all of the happenings & meetings that are open to the public. I'm so glad the house is still standing today & so many have the opportunity to enjoy this National Historic Landmark!”
“Their staff are very knowledgeable. My child has grown as a musician. Mr. Howie Alexander is amazing. Dr. J, the owner, is very approachable and concerned about the overall musicianship and well-being of the children”
“I try to get to Silver Sneakers at least twice a week. This is a good YMCA in a great location. They have several gymnasiums a pool couple of weight rooms a sauna and a big parking lot.”

“Was handed a New testament Bible on Main street at a Daytona bike week several years ago and I still have it. I have never been to this church but just want to say how much I appreciate any body of believers that practice out reach. If I am ever in PA, I will visit this church. Thank you for what you do! God bless!”
“A great community organization who are actually doing great things for its community. Appreciate the youth efforts they are making. Helping my sons find some direction providing employment and homework help.”
“This place is a gem. Polite staff and great facilities. The gym is a bit outdated and definitely doesn't have everything you need but you can still get a workout in. The pool is terrific and the basketball court is a huge plus.”
“A good Y to swim at with a pool that is usually open during normal operating hours. Also open on Sunday’s unlike other Y’s. A little pricey for an an adult membership, but worth it, they have good equipment and keep it clean.”

“These absolutely lovely people are genuine angels on Earth. They gave me two boxes worth of food and inside one box was produce and pantry the other box had meat and produce they gave me enough for probably the whole month as a person with a disability it's difficult for me to go shopping even with an attendant so having a place like this where I can go once a month and get food for the month is absolutely wonderful and I thank God for these people they are genuine angels and I absolutely love them.”
“Dr. Meredith Zebrowski is absolutely wonderful. We had struggled for a while to get our daughter help and she was able to confirm her autism diagnosis for us, so we can begin getting her the help & access to resources that she needs. She's also just been very responsive post-diagnosis and quickly responds to emails. The whole process of dealing with different providers / organizations is quite frustrating and Dr. Meredith has been an absolute God-send when it comes to the providers we've seen. Highly recommend seeing her if you feel your child may have Autism and is struggling verbally, socially, & emotionally.”
“I love going to the Y because there are so many things to do here. You can swim, workout, sit in the sauna, attend exercise classes, and more. If you have children, they can get involved in sports and lessons for certain things as well when they offer it. They also provide childcare at certain times of the day, which is very convenient for the mommies and daddies. I don't like that they charge you for your children to take lessons or participate in team sports even if you are a member. They also have several events that are fun to attend with your family and friends, whether it be holiday events or community events. They've pretty much got it all.”

“Our daughter and I spent almost two months here from November to December in 2024 to receive antibiotics through her central line and the staff was phenomenal. We lived almost three hours away so I stayed with her the entire time and they treated me just as well as they did her. It was the scariest, hardest thing we went through and our baby was brand new so I'm extremely thankful for everyone there who made our stay as well as it could have been under the circumstances. We celebrated her first Thanksgiving there and she even got to meet Santa and Mrs. Clause while we were there.. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️”
“I do not even know where to begin about how pleased I am with the day school. My son has improved so much in so many years coming to the school. The dedication with every area of the school is amazing. I am highly recommending anyone that qualifies for this excellent care.”
“Great deals in a clean & pleasant store. Items are rotated regularly, so you're sure to see different wares next week. Staff are kind & helpful: TY!”
“We are regulars, and bring our certified dog friend, Todd, with us! The employees here, and especially Shane, the manager, are always super helpful! I go in here two or three times a week! Both for donating and for shopping. Five stars all around.”
