“Hastings is the FIRST PLACE I go for commonly needed items -electrical, plumbing, bird food and feeders, household cleansers, or nuts, bolts and pull chain lamp sockets. Everyone in there offers to help you find what you need. The gentleman in electrical department found a new cane tip for me, used brute strength to pull the worn one off and applied the new! What’s not to love about Hastings!!”

If you weren’t from the area and didn’t know any better, it would be very understandable that you drove past it because there’s only 1 sign that is visible to tell people it’s there and it’s not in the best location!”
“On March 7, 2023, I visited my local Busy Beaver store in Castle Shannon. I should say here that I have never had a bad experience in this store. The representatives have always been helpful, friendly, and professional.On March 7, my cashier was Meegan and she asked if I would need help loading the 4 bags of potting soil I bought on sale. I said, "No, I'd be fine," thanked her and left. When I backed up my car to the stack of potting soil, there was Meegan standing there waving at me. She joked, "I don't listen well" and helped me load the bags in the car. I thanked her and tried to give her a lottery ticket which she declined.Please tell her how much I appreciated her attitude and help.Mike”
“Ace hardware has all the current products, as well as the old fashioned products, that are available. The employees are always well informed and friendly. Ace is my husbands favorite hardware store as well. None of the big box stores are even close to being his favorite, and mine as well. Great job, Ace!”
“I ran into several delivery problems with my order. First, my billing and delivery addresses are in different states. My order, unfortunately, was delivered to the wrong address. Easy, but unfortunate mistake. Equiparts immediately shipped a duplicate to my shipping address at no charge. Then, of course, I had one digit wrong in my delivery address so UPS hasn't delivered. I contacted Equiparts who responded immediately and updated the address with UPS. Hopefully, it will show up. But, whether it does or not Equiparts deserves a 5-star review for efficient, professional, and polite customer service.”
“Other hardware stores around hire employees that have complete lack of communication skills, complete disregard towards the customers, and a total lack of care for providing any customer service whatsoever. This Home Depot in particular is the exception, I am always treated with respect, and I always receive the quality help and care I need when shopping for all sorts of products. The other stores in the area are so bad that I've gone in, sought help or specific products, and I leave to come to this Home Depot each time, the only one that's worthy.”

He listened to my problem, understood what I was trying to fix, and because he knows his products, he found a solution to my problem. “Need an odd part for your dishwasher or HVAC? Ace is more likely to have it than the big box chains. This location is inside Giant Eagle, and isn't staffed consistently. You can pay for your items at the grocery checkout. Call first if you need to talk to one of their experts.”
“This Home Depot carries a good selection of appliances, tools, electrical and plumbing supplies, landscaping supplies, and many other products, and the prices are reasonable. For the past few years, I have sometimes shopped here for plants, painting supplies, and flooring. For my most recent visit, some boxes contained broken tiles, but I was able to find what I needed. The cashier made pleasant conversation, and she quickly and accurately processed the transaction.”

“During the recent clearance sale, we bought a very reduced dryer and refrigerator. Dave, Aaron, the young man working in flooring/appliances on Friday the 6th, were extremely helpful. Dave and Aaron made loading our appliances EXTREMELY easy. They assisted with a smile and were mindful and courteous of our vehicle and purchases. I cannot thank them enough for their work.

“The best Lowe’s i’ve ever worked for! As a contractor who was there replacing the HVAC units i’ve came across this amazing employee named Terri and many more great employees throughout the store! Mrs Terri needs a raise!!! She’s given nothing but exceptional customer service and does her job amazing and always goes above and beyond than what she needs too! I will never forget meeting such a beautiful soul who puts so much effort into what she does. Apart from Terri, the employees are always there to help you regardless if you didn’t ask for help.
