“Nothing but praise for the team at United Tire of Phoenixville. I took my recently purchased, high-mileage, '06 CRV in for some trouble I was experiencing while driving it. It sounded loud and it drove rough, it took forever to accelerate, and it was burning gas like a 16-wheeler. The team looked it over and gave me two possible causes and estimates. They were very knowledgeable and patient with me, and answered all my questions. I don't know much about cars and I've never had to deal with an older, high-mileage vehicle, so I was particularly anxious about the safety of the car. Jake and Bob were so friendly and helpful when they walked me through what to be paying attention to and how to take care of the car after I got it fixed. I took it back to fix the exhaust system and after the repairs the car drives damn near like new! At least a lot smoother and quieter than it did before UToP replaced the exhaust. It's been a week since that repair and I've experienced no other issues; the car runs beautifully. The 12,000 mile/1year warranty on the work performed gives me peace of mind that if anything does go wrong with the exhaust in that time frame, I can go back to this team and they'll take care of my vehicle. On top of their great work ethic and solid repair, these guys are just super friendly, respectful, and a pleasure to be around. When you walk in, they make you feel like you're going to get your car fixed by your buddy of 10 years, even if they've just met you. Amazing customer service. To everyone at UToP, thank you for your hard work. My only regret is that I don't live in Phoenixville to make this location my dedicated shop!”
“Group of good guys that you can trust with your car. They always work with me when it comes to scheduling and go out of their way to save me a buck or two on repairs. Their rates are reasonable and they typically work very fast sometimes taking half the hours other shops would charge. I've been coming here for the last few years and will continue to do so long as I own an Euro car.”
“We have been using this service for some time. Now Steve is at the helm and he continues the great tradition. I guess there are a lot of good mechanics out there, but what I found with Dave Kanaskie and his people is that they tell you the truth. They are always honest and they offer less expensive options. I have had undesirable experiences elsewhere. I was waiting to check in once and I heard the desk clerk explain to a customer that she didn't need the expensive work she was asking for. Now that is something to be excited about. I feel comfortable working with them and I would not use anyone else.”

“I usually visit the Exton location, but needed to get an oil change badly. Service was great as expected. I asked for a tire rotation but before they did the one guy (sorry I forgot your name) said he'd measure the tires to make sure I actually needed it. Turns out they were very even and didn't need rotated, just saved me 25 bucks. Refreshing to get solid customer service and not over charged for things I didn't need.”

“We had an issue with our truck while driving home to NJ on 422. We had no idea where to go, and found Desire on the internet. What a positive and excellent experience we had. They took us in immediately and diagnosed the issue and had us back on the road in no time, at an affordable price. They turned what could have been a terrible day into just a little delayed arrival at home. And as an added bonus when we got into the truck there was a bag of Halloween candy waiting for us to munch on - Yum!
I would recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and trustworthy mechanic. Wish we could find a Comparable mechanic near our home in NJ. May be worth the two hour drive next time we need service!!!”
“I had an amazing experience with this business yesterday. Russ pulled up behind me broken down and towed me to their shop. He proactively jumoed out to ask if I was OK when trying to engage insurance towing. He took care of me to get me off the road and then when I realized later my insurance tow would take forever, I called him back and he towed it to mechanic on his way home. Big Thanks to him for taking the stress out if a bad situation. I recommend these folks highly.”

“I ordered some tires from TireRack and had them installed at Phoenix Performance. I previously had tires installed there years ago, and just like the last time, the experience was great from start to finish. Joe (the owner) was friendly and communicative, and their techs took fantastic care of my car. Yes, I paid a little more than if I'd gone to a budget tire place (though not much, their prices are quite reasonable), but that's well worth it to know my car is in good hands. I even got a tour of their facilities; lots of very cool cars getting worked on! I'd highly recommend them, especially if you have a performance car and want the best service around.”

“Frank and his team are incredibly thorough, honest and skilled.
I blew my head gasket on my 2014 Porsche 981 2.7. I decided rather than replace head gasket I would replace the engine with the larger 3.4. Along with a new clutch. Franks shop was one of the few shops locally with the skill to do the job. Frank was communicative throughout the process and kept me updated on the progress. The car has roughly 100k miles on it (new engine has 39k) so a lot needed to be sorted.
At no point did I feel like I wasn’t a priority for them (even though my car was definitely the pauper of the group) Frank is incredibly easy to talk to and catalogs EVERYTHING. Which I definitely appreciate.
I am incredibly happy with the job Frank and his team did, the car feels brand new. I am going to be brining my Mercedes w123 next for a restoration project as I really do trust this team. 5 stars, Highly recommend”
“Clarks Auto looked at my Honda-HRV and was able to identify a major transmission issue. Before bringing it to Clarks, I was considering getting a new car, thinking I'd need an expensive transmission. After they looked at my car, they made a great call and did not drain my transmission fluid as I had scheduled for and advised me to go to the dealership instead because they researched that there was a warranty extension on my problem and that I could likely get my transmission fully replaced under this warranty at the dealership. The dealership was able to see metal shards in my transmission fluid thanks to Clarks making the wise decision not to drain it and thus they said it was covered under warranty. Thank you for your honesty and guidance! I recommend this shop to anyone , especially Honda owners. Me and my HRV (that is running beautifully now) are very grateful!”

“Mr.Tire in phoenixville pa is hands down the most trustworthy mechanic shop around. I am a single mom and will be the first to admit I know nothing about cars. Recently I had a car fiasco and had to tow my car to a popular brand dealership. They quoted me 600$ for a part that my car “needed” in order to run. I instantly called Mr.Tire and knew I needed to tow my car to them. They spend hours inspecting my car, test driving it, and concluded that my car was completely fine. They saved me 100’s of dollars when they too could’ve have easily gotten over on me. I have been going to this Mr.Tire for awhile now and I know my pockets and car are safe in their hands. They are so communicative and upfront, showing me exactly what I need, letting me know if something can wait instead of trying to upcharge me for unnecessary services! I truly could go on and on about how amazing, knowledgeable, and trustworthy every single person working there is!”

Called Saunders late in the day the week of Christmas to check my car out - I hit a curb pretty hard and messed up the suspension and tire. Even on the short holiday week he was able to get my car done quickly. Called to me with a game plan, got the parts the same day and had it done the next morning. “Carter's is my new go to auto shop! I was scrambling a couple of weeks ago to get my out of date car inspected while looking at homes in Phoenixville. I was turned away everywhere except Carters! While they were busy they offered to help me out as a welcome to the neighborhood and had me in and out the same day. They even reinforced a small crack in my bumper at no cost!
