“Gotta be one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever been too. So much history and kindness when you step through the doors, everyone was so warm and welcoming. Worth the detour by a mile. Truly a special spot.
EDIT: Right after I posted this, the owner (Dave) heard I was visiting from out of town and showed me the Mac memorial and Knick knacks above the shop. Gave me a full rundown on the history too and thanked me for stopping by. So grateful to have made it. Thank you FPM and Mac!!!”

“I was compelled to write review to give big shout out to Ms.Renee , one of the employee at the Scotty’s Market. We entered almost at their lunch break hour & she kindly let us in. And she even stayed back till we complete order & eat. She happily assisted while we shopped snacks & she gave suggestion on food, asked my kid feedback on food so that Scotty’s market owners can reform. “I was having my car towed to a shop to have it repaired and the AAA driver who was Towing my car spoke about this store I don't want to pronounce the name because I don't want to mess it up but this Market was everything that the driver said it was and what the driver said was that they had the best sandwiches well I was hungry one day and as I passed the store I decided to make a short left turn park my car and then throw off into that facility oh boy am I glad I did I got an Italian sub sandwich and I have to tell you this homemade sandwich that they put together was just awesome it was so delicious and to add a topping to that they had homemade pastries and I purchase chocolate chip cookies and their peanut butter cookies were to die for why do I say that because I'm a peanut butter cookie crazy woman I love peanut butter cookies so if you're ever in the area stop off at the family store it's a modest Market and they have beautiful fruit also it is well worth the efforts and the husband and wife couple that runs it they are so friendly so kind and attentive they definitely will see me again and probably again and again thank you”

The store had everything we wanted to buy and what we missed. Delicious sausage, squash caviar, Borodino bread, delicious sweets and much more and KVAS.... Thanks to these people for allowing us to experience the taste and smell of home. And yes...since we skimped on a large amount, they gave us more candies and chocolate. This is a nice bonus. “Gordon Foods in Monroeville, PA is very clean and organized. There is plenty of parking and an easy entrance. As soon as you walk in the double doors, large carts are readily accessible. The aisles are very wide and items are easy to find. There are bulk items for baking, cooking, entertaining, and catering. One bakers pro tip: they have excellent prepared cookie dough that taste homemade in a wide variety of flavors. They have full deli turkey breasts, ham, etc. They have high quality steaks and hamburgers. Their frozen section contains vegetables, fruits, breakfast items, casseroles, lasagna, etc. You really need to explore the variety to appreciate it fully.”

“I'm a regular at this Aldi's! They have a nice selection in the veggie aisle! And I love seeing what's new in non food aisle! Not really famous brand names, but their brands are surprisingly good! I especially like the Mama Cozzi Pizzas! I was skeptical when I first started going here, but once I tried a few things, I'm hooked! Fantastic prices!”

“This place is amazing! The shop attendant was so accommodating and cool as a cucumber even though the place was very busy. She recommended things, which definitely increased the amount of things I purchased! She had us try so many things I probably would have not even considered. The shop is also lovely and the pricing is good.”
“The Green Market is our favorite place to buy fruits, vegetables, and other little groceries. Gina and Jules are wonderful people. We go just as much for the produce as we do to visit them.”
“Don't go there hungry... This is the type of store where you can get out of hand grocery shopping very fast... It's great. Other than the strip district downtown where you pay to park, not here. It's centrally located to the "Monroeville" area. If Italian food is your thing, GO THERE. You won't be disappointed.”

“The parking lot sucks but that’s not the stores fault. Prices are decent, ingredients are decent , the store is relatively clean and well stocked. Produce is always fresh. Lines usually move pretty quickly and the cashiers are always nice to my son while he stays in the cart kinda in the way.”
“Convenience with a flair is the name of the game at Bryant Street Market. The coolest sandwhiches with the finest meats and toppings have to be their specialty. The store is really clean for a neighborhood deli. Top quality food items are all that is sold at the store. Parking can be a bit of a hassle because of the way the parking lot is set up. When I have turned people on to Bryant Street Market they are quite impressed with the store.”
