“We took a trip to Pittsburg to see how we would like it. We are considering moving here in the future. As an army retiree, it was a huge plus to see a commissary store in the area. It is fairly new, modern and well stocked. We had a wonderful experience shopping there. We would frequent this store ALL the time if we lived there. Having the commissary will influence our decision.”
“Love coming here to peruse the shelves and get new things to try! I’m a creature of habit so being able to go and taste helps me try new things and they are always super helpful. They have a wide selection, I’m always pleased to see they have single cans just in case you don’t want to commit to a six or twelve pack of something you may not like. Also the staff is just super nice, good people, and always pleasant to talk to while you browse. This is a must visit place for non-alcoholic beverages if you’re in Pittsburgh, visitor or resident.”
“First time to a trader joes and it was amazing, everyone was really friendly and helpful, amazing prices and Lisa was also absolutely amazing, I asked what were some of her favorite items and she was kind enough to walk us to them and tell us what they were and different ways we could use them…. She recommended this cookie butter that we weren’t originally going to get but we got persuaded and I definitely recommend it now myself”
“If you make the trek to Randyland, you should definitely stop at Mayfly.
Having said that, this business seems to be having an identity crisis. Is it a local high-end grocer? A lunch counter? A gift shop? All of the above?
When I arrived I was the only customer, but the person on staff looked confused by my presence. I asked if I could order a sandwich, as it was in no way evident that that was possible. "Yes" was the response, and I was handed a menu at the cash.
I was told it would be 10 minutes, which seemed like a long time at 11:30 am with only me, but ok. I then saw many people arriving who had ordered ahead, so that is always a good sign when locals are supporting a business.
There is a bench on the street in front of the adjacent house. Sit and soak in the neighborhood, which is very nice.
I took the sandwich to go and ate it later at the airport. It was great. Roast beef on nice bread with aioli, arugula and Swiss cheese.”
“Our community's go to market whether you need a last minute item to finish dinner or to fill your cart for the entire meal. They have all the essentials you need in a small footprint and there's never a long wait to check out!”

“Some great tacos and interesting grocery. Stop here when in the area for some of the best tacos. Pay inside and order outside. There is area to choose ur toppings and salsa. Some picnic tables and friendly others enjoying their tacos. If in the neighborhood be sure to stop and enjoy.”
“The Shop and Save in Heidelberg is clean and generally well kept. The produce is also usually pretty fresh, with a wide selection.
The employees know their jobs and know where things are located in the store. It's a rare thing if I have to ask an employee where something is located and they don't know.
The best thing about Shop and Save is their "famous " two day sale. They generally have the same things each time...ground meat, bagels, OJ, deli meats, etc., but the prices pit them on par with Aldi' s, but with much better selection.
Overall, the store is clean, well organized, and has fresh produce, meats, and baked goods. I would definitely recommend them, especially given how much Giant Eagle costs now!”

“We love Aldi's. I think their produce beats the other one's. We like trying new things. They have an amazing selection of cheese. Regular and organic fruit choices, too. I buy their frozen vegetables, they're great. Their meat selection is fresh and always full. Plus, you can save a little money too.”
“Brookline Halal Market (القدس) is truly a gem in the community! The store is always clean, well-organized, and stocked with a wide variety of fresh halal meats, groceries, and Middle Eastern specialties. The quality of the products is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other places.
What really makes the difference is the warm hospitality — the staff are kind, respectful, and always willing to help you find what you need. Shopping here feels like visiting family, with a genuine sense of care and community.

“I'm a huge fan of Aldi brand products. They're often high-quality (USDA organic, Rainforest Alliance certified, B Corp, Oeko Tex standard, etc.) -- for a fraction of the cost that you'd fine at other major retailers. For example, see the photo of this incredible coffee I'm attaching here. Simply $5 at Aldi, but would certainly be $10 at any other grocer. Not to mention, there are quite a few Aldi in the area, so they're convenient. While you perhaps can't fine very single item on your shopping list, there is always a wide enough selection that you are able to stock your shelves with any essentials! If you haven't ever been before, I highly recommend giving it a whirl.”
“Oh that's okay I don't think they should get a five not for me anyway because I never really in there so I do a lot of Walmart orders but my husband and the fear of my family members that please do like all these so I gave him a 5 on based on their services”

“Mekkah Shop is very clean, and their meat is always fresh. They take great care when cutting the meat and use clean, hygienic machines. The products come from different countries, which meet the expectations of diverse customers. The staff are polite, well-mannered, and very helpful. They also sell some fresh vegetables and fruits that I can’t find in other stores.”
“Highly recommend. I shop and eat here several times a week. The food is good and healthy which is difficult to find offerings like theirs in Pittsburgh. I’m always in a rush so it’s great that I can pop in, go quickly. But still have something so healthy, fulfilling, and of great value for what it is. Plus it’s a local and small business! Win win win on all accounts!!”

“Aldi's is a good general store with many good products. The only thing I usually suggest though is not purchasing your fruit or vegetables there.
The reason I suggest not purchasing those are if you plan to use them at a later date. If you're going to be using them that day it's a wonderful location to get stuff. But don't be surprised that if you purchase strawberries or blueberries that they're bad by the next day or the following.
All these tends to not use any companies that have pesticides used with their produce and though not all of their stuff is organic a lot of their stuff doesn't go through irradiation.
Overall it's a good store I only give it four stars because of the produce sections”
“53' reefer OTR deliveries, expect to damage your reefer's fuel tank. Follow your truck-specific GPS and this might not happen to you.
Since this is a forklift & chain pull unload on their backlot, I decided I wanted to do a left side back-in.
To do so, I went around what the GPS was showing since I would have approached the place facing South. The cost to face North was going through crazy steep streets.
A blindside back-in would be no problem as there is plenty of room if you're here at 09:00. Which is also the time they start taking deliveries.
They're quick to unload, considering the method.”
“Aldi grocery store offers a slightly smaller selection of foods, beverages, and household products compared to other grocery stores. However, they do have low prices, and I do enjoy many of their store-brand and name-brand products. I think that their fruits, vegetables, pantry foods, and crab cakes are a high quality. My husband said that their meats have a lower quality than what other grocery stores sell.”
“Friendly staff, friendly customers. Lots of specialty items. Almost like a boutique grocery store within a neighborhood grocery store. Meat department does a bunch of made in-store items, that are absolutely delish. I highly recommend the bacon ranch sausage, so tasty.”

“We went there to replenish our spices and were pleased with our selections on the advice of a friend, and walked around the store to check things out. The store appeared well stocked and clean. We found the spice section and made quite a few purchases. We weren't there for very long, but will go back when we have more time to actually shop”

“Love this location. Always well stocked , great varieties as compared to other locations in my opinion and produce is mostly fresh. Self checkout is another great option at this loctaion.”
