“I have been dealing with NBT bank for over 15 years. Always quick, courteous, personal customer service. Highly efficient well trained tellers. Always enough staff as to not have to wait in a long line. This bank has drive through banking, night deposit box and MAC machine. Very convenient hours as they are open from 8-5 Mon - Fri, Sat 8-12. Great people to do business with!”

“Would love to give them 5 stars. Positives....The employees are helpful and get back to you at the very least. They also remember your name. I was helped to work through the mortgage process step by step which simplified owning a home rather then renting. They offer all the regular fare for personal finance. I like UFCU becasue they never kept me hanging for an answer when I needed it to make a decision unlike other local financial institutions. Negatives.... Feel like a criminal if I'm depositing a personal check you generally need ID and the check will be put on hold for 3 days or more, and shunned if there is a coin(s) involved in a transaction. If you have a savings bond for some reason and are looking to cash it out or deposit it they can't process them. At times it is hard to get through on the phone or get info because not everyone takes care of all the products they offer at that office and they need to contact other branches.”

Make it very difficult to get your own money with pass codes, etc, even with Photo ID present. Not good for elderly people with poor phone skills, not recommended. Go to the Nanticoke one if you do bank here or switch banks.
Edit: I originally gave a 1 star review based off my past experience. I am going to rate it again based on revisits and the present status of the business. I think a 1 star review was too harsh, so I am giving it 4 stars. The security thing was annoying, but I understand it a bit with all the scamming happening presently with banking. It was just a little agressive, but I am taking the entire security annoyance out of the rating. I would just say be prepared upon arrival, because they are REALLY SERIOUS about protecting your money!”
