“I arrived at the store at 5 p.m. I was disappointed that there was no selection of bulk rolls.
I was pleased to find cornbread.
Customer service was helpful in my purchase of a vending machine scratch-off.”
“Incredibly friendly and helpful employees...the owners are extremely helpful and kind...extremely hospitable atmosphere and environment...specialty item unavailable anywhere else...I frequent the store almost daily”
“I live in NJ but visit this place everytime I visit PA because it was the nearest supermarket that has a Spanish isle for my father who passed away in 2020. The last time my father and daughter held hands made me smile and it was at this location. The”
“Always a pleasure to shop here, you can always check out with a bargain or two with each visit. Dreamers staff are big plus always smiling and helpful if you need it. It make your shopping experience very pleasant. Thank you all. M.?”
“Wegmens is ok but they have abusive fast shopping cart walkers with nothing in them walking fast behind you and if you can't find coffee, with in minutes walk out also very bad set up compared to dicksoncity, pa. Go up to dickson city, pa. And scope the parking lot before you go in usually good. Also everyone starts wiggling around when you are ready to leave like you are ready to leave a rehab. Very unfriendly to us.”
“The store is always clean neat and well-stocked. The best feature of the store to me is that they sell the best steaks in the city at almost the best price per pound.”
“Big selection of freezer foods as well as canned and boxed foods. I do like they have a toy section for kids as well as baby formulas with other necessities. I do find a couple items to be heavier on the price, but the stores looks maintained.”

“It's nice being able to get milk, bananas or sugar whenever I need to without going to the grocery store. The owner and his employees are always nice to me. Prices are normal for convenience.”
“DonBeto is a great place. I definitely recommend this grocery store because they always have what you need and the shelves are full of a great variety of products.”
“I love this place. It reminds me of days gone by when I used to visit my neighborhood market. I guess you would consider this a specialty store (unless you are Mexican then it’s just a grocery store). Whenever the mood strikes me for some authentic Mexican food this is where I shop.Parking is tough sometimes but who cares.”
“Decent prices, I shopped yesterday between 10:50 and 11:10. Shelves were decently stocked. The only thing was that they didn't have regular Ken's Italian. Would highly recommend their fresh Italian hoagies. They're cheaper and of higher quality than Subways.Easy in, easy out. Just be careful shopping in this neighborhood late at night”

“It was my first time shopping in here. My friend told me this was a good supermarket to go too although she goes to the one in Kingston. There was a huge variety and i was far from disappointed. Prices were a little high especially compared to Walmart. But i can understand prices going up and down on food. Produce section was great! Loved that they carried frozen protein smoothies. My boyfriend enjoyed his experience although we spent more than we usually would. It was quiet and empty at around 6-7 at night which i don't mind. Makes shopping peaceful and easy. Cashier was nice. And overall i would shop here again!”
“I’m really happy to find a Filipino store near Scranton. The next one we found is in Allentown. Really good prices, some of her stuff are cheaper compared online. My husband loves the bread and siopao! We’ll definitely come back for our supplies! :) One downside is they only accept cash, but that’s fine, there’s an atm nearby. They sell huge bottles of vinegar and soy sauce!!!”
“Very nice store always orderly and clean. The people who work there have always been nice and respectful to me. Plus they have a few skill machines to play. Good place for gas and snacks..”
“I went today to get plantains and they had it and I gotta a lot of stuff for 7.50 they handed me a bag right when I started looking for the stuff there nice and have Diet Coke now so I don’t gotta go to turkey hill if I can rate this a 10/10 I would”
“Get what I needed. But they need to start selling rice cakes again. They stoped selling them at all there stores. They were a big sale up where I live. Why did you discontinued this product is weird.”
“I got there 5 minutes before they closed and the workers were still very friendly and did not rush me out the door. I found everything that I went in there to get and better yet I found it all in the dollar aisle. I'll definitely be back.”
“A regular Turkey Hill, but it doesn't have a gas station. It is easy to get in and out of the parking lot from two different streets. It is in a nice spot before going into Wilkes-Barre or going back into Ashley from Wilkes-Barre. It is nice inside and has everything a regular Turkey Hill would have minus gas.”
“This Turkey Hill is convenient to stop at, as it's easy to get in and out of. However, there's only two gas pumps, which sometimes means you have to wait for gas, and the parking area is relatively small. The store doesn't have hot food available like many other Turkey Hills in the area either. It's a decent location in a pinch, but I'd rather go to others in the area.”
“Don't buy straight talk its not good terrible customer service in Spanish and English they people on the phone seem nice but are very rude they don't help at all and avoid this at all cost but walmart is great tho”
“Jerk chicken is fantastic here.
Oxtails are my second option.
Rice & beans, cabbage & collard greens all very good.
This is the ONLY Jamaican spot where I actually enjoy the collard greens (I'm from NY). Cabbage also cooked in a sauce that makes it delicious for those who don't normally eat cabbage like myself.
Staff is always friendly here and it's a nice, quiet atmosphere for such a busy city.
Their ordering on DoorDash is amazing, in the sense that you can choose what sauce you want.
For example, You have the option to get Jerk Chicken, but with Oxtail sauce.
Portions are good, I usually get a Medium size for myself and you'll be stuffed if you can finish all that.
Everytime I'm in Wilkes-Barre, this is my go-to.
South of Wilkes barre the options are slim to none for this kind of food”
“Sarah was so helpful and sweet. She informed me of all the possible mark down deals for Black Friday event. I purchased Christmas trees to where she explained they would be half off at the start of Black Friday event. Super grateful to meet people who excel in customer service”

“I have to let everyone know about this awesome employee at turkey hill on penn Ave in Wilkes barre. His name tag said Xavier, and he made me laugh from the minute I walked through the door, until I left!! Very entertaining and very courteous!! Thanks for such a pleasant experience, Xavier!! Kudos to you, young man!!”
“The past 2 years I have had WalMart delivered but decided to do a pick up. I was a little lost at first as they moved the pick up area to the side of the building instead of being in the main parking lot allowing a lot more area for parking strictly for pick ups. I was truly impressed as they knew that I was there before I could check in! Very smooth. Thank you WalMart ?”
“Great place to shop and save money. The place is jammed on the weekends so prepare a list ahead. The only drawback, if you could even call it a drawback, is the parking lot. The lot is horrible no lines, potholes utter chaos trying to park. We stop in every time we visit our daughter in Scranton and haul our finds back to the Jersey Shore.
If you manage the parking lot, great savings await inside.”
