“This store is amazing! Great selection of everything including really good vegan cheeses from Greece. All of their prepared salads are 10/10 ( have tried them all but really love the lentil one, the mixed bean and pasta).
Their inhouse bakery is stellar!! The spinach and meat fatayer are the best i have ever has and I try them everywhere. Pastries and cookies are delicious. Hats off to the cooks and bakers!!”

“I've had an experience when I came to the store and the owner was taking in deliveries at the back close to 6PM, and had left his mobile number at the front door, I called it and he promptly came in to serve me, so I'm not sure what that one star review is talking about...
Every time I've come here I've had exceptional service and the best ingredients that literally remind me of home. I do most of my grocery shopping here. Thank you for the best Palm oil in town by the way :))”

“Interesting store that I will definitely visit more as I try out new things. If I may offer some constructive comments though, you should work on the appearance of the store.
It's very dark in the aisles (compared to most other stores) and the shelves are kinda in disarray in some places (not everywhere mind you but the noodles found in two of the aisles were a bit unsorted and kinda thrown on the shelf, the canned goods were all straight and proper though). A bit of extra light and straightening up the product from time to time would go a long way.
They've got an interesting selection of many things you won't find in Western markets, the prices are reasonable, and staff very polite and friendly to chat with.
Worth the visit if you want to try new foods.”

“Can’t say enough good things about this store.
There are no grocery stores in walking distance of this neighbourhood. Thankfully, Abbas Grocery keeps its shelves stocked with all the basics, as well as fresh produce and a number of other important household items. It’s also very affordable (in a time where major grocery stores jack up their prices at will) and the staff are all wonderful. Every one of them, owner included, are friendly and helpful.
Some weeks, I’m in this store almost every day, and that doesn’t bother me at all. Happy to support this business and can safely say living in this neighbourhood would be much more difficult without it.”
“Everything we have purchased from the Piggy Market has been delicious, and great quality! Love their sausages, meats, cheeses & baked goods. We have purchased their breads, donuts & pies many times (always so tasty!) and we most recently tried their coconut/apricot bars, which were out of this world. And I feel like a sleeper hit is their homemade chili crisp. AMAZING! I also really appreciate that everything is nut free- as someone with a nut allergy, it's so rare to be able to go into a nice food shop, and be able to get anything I want. Thank you!!”

The lunch box and self-service selection weighing and pricing area for various dishes are all very friendly. The service mode is that you can eat when you buy it, which is very convenient for travelers. Recommended!”

“The restaurant did not cook the food. If you look at the reviews, they say they serve Jjajangmyeon and Jjambbong, but they don't do that anymore. Kimbap and kimchi were delicious and cheap. It was okay and I parked in front of the store for a while and made a purchase.”

“This place is a local gem. I heard Kaz Kitchen had changed ownership recently and decided to check it out since it has been a few months of disappointment with what was in the shelves. The new owner was so kind and immediately wanted to know what I was looking for and promised to stock it up for me. A couple days later, she had gotten exactly what I was looking for, and she's kept it in stock since! Not to mention the meat pies and lasagnas and desserts she makes! I always make sure to get a lunch or snack while there. Excellent cornerstore for Guigues Avenue.”
