I called Rocky's Ace Hardware in Fall River, hoping they'd have some. No. But...one of their employees told me that Carter's Clothing, off Plymouth Ave, next to McDonald's, was where he'd purchased his.
I drove over to have a look...I was dumbfounded! They had an incredible selection of both men's and women's insulated gloves...of all types--for shoveling, skiing, general wear...I felt like I'd landed in heaven.
I bought not one, but two different types of insulated gloves--far surpassing the quality of a pair I recently gave to someone else who needed them more than I did.
There's so much more great gear to be found at Carter's. I don't understand why they're not doing a better job of advertising--their parking lot was empty, yet their shelves were overflowing...with boots, gloves, scarves, socks--pants, shirts...you get the picture.
Best of all, their prices were reasonable. Whereas Amazon had a several-day wait for delivery, and Walmart noted 3+ days to get theirs...I walked right in, found two great pairs, and was out in less than fifteen minutes...and the staff were incredibly helpful, too.
I have no affiliation with Carter's, but I'm so impressed with them that I plan to return and get my clothing and other needs there. I do hope they do better advertising, as they certainly deserve more business.”

“Sunday I came in, bought a couple pairs of shoes. Madison, one of the managers as I saw on her name tag was AWESOME! Asked her for help and I ended saying sorry a couple times because I felt annoying but she never once gave me an attitude but she smiled and said I’m here to help. She also checked me out at the register and signed me up to gain some points, I got $10 just for signing up! What a great deal, thanks Madison for being great, I will be back.”

“Always worth a browse if you need a pair or two of shoes. It's currently under construction at the moment, so there's no street access. You can still enter via the main entry inside the mall. There's still plenty of products and shoes, but the overall sqft of the location is currently impacted by renovations.”
“Large, clean, staffed store.. but was there for running shoes and the entire shelf was fully-stocked with ONLY “Extra Wide” and “Wide” for multiple brands and sizes.. asked twice about it as it didn’t seem right for a shoe store and was told there’s none in the back and that’s just how they send them… was directed to online.. it’s shoes, so obviously I want to try on and see what I’m buying, so I’ll be unfortunately buying from a different shoe store altogether. Otherwise ok I guess.”

“I’d never heard of this store until my 14 year old came home with a pair of $225 sneakers that she had no business buying. I immediately went back to the store with her and explained the situation (and her mental state which lead to this unreasonable purchase). The gentlemen in the store asked made me aware of the no return policy but due to the situation surrounding this purchase (no need to go into detail) they allowed the return. All of the store associates were very nice and understanding. I’d support them again.”

“We came in during the Spring Stroll and were so glad we did! We originally came in looking for sneakers and sandals. I found the perfect pair of Ugg sandals for the summer and classic Tevas. The associate who helped us, Sue, was incredibly kind and patient as she provided white-glove service for me trying on shoes. The prices are incredibly fair and the variety is impressive.
