“The Pelican Market is the best convenience store in the city. What more can you ask for. Fresh baked goods, all the necessities, repackaged Costco chocolate almonds. My only wish is that they made some sick merch so I could rock the Pelican on the daily.”

I had forgotten an ingredient for a soup I was making, and I was able to call, confirm they had it, and pick it up quicker than if I had used a delivery service. Amazing location on Broadway, super convenient. You don't have to be a co-op member to shop here.”

“It had most of the African things I wanted since I’m African and sometimes want to try the food of my culture so I think it has most of the African things of west Africa or at least Nigeria.”
“I went in the store in search of halal checken. When I entred in the store, I found very cooperative staff with cheerful faces. Prices were matching big stores like Walmart and not costly. Most of food ingredients used in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh were available. Fresh checken, meat and beaf were available. It was so good that one will always visit whenever needs any grocery items.”

The pharmacy store I usually go to didn't even warn us in advance that the medication I need was out of stock, and I found out too late, running out of time to find another pharmacy that could help me. Lafonso was so nice, kind, and patient. He took the time to listen to my urgent need. Thank you for accommodating us even though the store was nearly closing.”

“I tend to eat healthier when I shop at Co-op because junk food is so expensive here. Why buy a bag of chips (or any other processed food) here when I can get it for much cheaper at Superstore? So whenever I shop here, I just go straight for the healthy whole foods, like fresh meat and veggies.”

“Possibly the best cinnamon buns in existence (don't tell my motger) really all the baking is fantastic. Also an impressive selection of grocery items, considering it's a corner store. Pricing as well that makes it a real choice opposed to superstores if you only need a few things.”

I'm not disappointed with their services and products. In addition, I got some pizzas, hotdogs, chips, and drinks at the food court for my family.
If the distance is not an issue and for newcomers or residents who are looking to explore Saskatoon, you can check it out. They have a large parking lot too.”

“I come here to get food items or to pick up something for supper. The prices are not bad as there is a wide range of prices, and food products. The outside of the store has been recently redone a couple years ago and it looks very beautiful and redone well. The inside is also very clean and nice looking. The staff here are quite nice and they attends to your needs when you need it. The parking here is pretty decent, but it’s busy at times for example on weekends, and weekdays around 4 to 6. If you need groceries, this is the place to come.”

The team here connects with me to offer suitable substitutions for items out of stock, and makes sure that the produce I receive is perfect and fresh. I won’t deal with any other store.
