“I love the concept of store, staff is very friendly and nice. But despite store being named "Ukrainian" half of the products originate from Poland or Lithuania or similar countries. We do share similar culture, but I would be more happy to see some more ukrainian products. Also the pricing is kinda too much, but I can tolerate such price. We paid 130$ for 2 pieces of salo, some Roshen candy, 2 packs of tea and jar of mushrooms, 3 packs of cookies (2.5$ each), we also took some herring fillets which were originated from Lithuania as well. The idea of the store is very good but it needs more Ukrainian products, the stuff there is nice but I did not expect to see polish conservations or species in Ukrainian store. Also some tea could be found on Amazon for much cheaper price.”
“I often find the produce to be really nice here. Even the pre-cut containers. Some places use their worst produce for the pre-cut fruit and berry containers. There is a pretty good amount of options to choose from in every category.”

“Great store! Good prices, lots of organized selection, and a convenient spot for me to get everything I need. Their cash register spot is a tiny bit crowded, but usually isn't too hard to get through. I also like that they offer boxes to pack everything up.”
“Long time shopper at this Sobeys. The Butchery and meat section definitely deserves praise. Great cuts of meat and often great sales. Produce is often really good, especially seasonal stuff. Often my stop for one or two things and end up buying more. Not my big grocery haul location, but often if you know what you need and watch sales it's a great place to shop. Cashiers are awesome! I don't wait in line for more than 1 person almost ever.”
“Quality meat available here...they have rebranded the place to Makkah from Brothers...i am coming back once they operate in full capacity...Better meat than zam zam so far..lets see whether they can beat Savor or not...best of luck”

There are a large number of products of Ukrainian manufacturers. It has many parking spaces. The only negative, the choice of meat, wasn’t the best. It is a very good store”

“If you like fried chicken or chicken tenders, I highly recommend Co-op, which serves fried chicken, tenders, and wedges. I have to say it is one of the best fried chicken places in the city. Yesterday, I tried the chicken tenders, which were absolutely delicious. We have always had the fried chicken combo, which has always been really good. ?”
“The last Safeway still standing in Saskatoon probably.High end and good quality grocery store ever. The price is way higher than other grocery stores, somehow, they provided better service and way fresh food product and vegetables. That extra cost is worth! You are looking for something good quality to serve your body healthy, Safeway/Sobeys those luxurious grocery stores will be your first pick. You will surprise that when they are doing sales or promotions, the price is lower than any other grocery in general. If you have Sence membership, the price is getting even better! (They used to cooperate with Air Miles)All in all, super clean and happy grocery shopping spot!”

3501 11th St W, Saskatoon“Possibly the best cinnamon buns in existence (don't tell my motger) really all the baking is fantastic. Also an impressive selection of grocery items, considering it's a corner store. Pricing as well that makes it a real choice opposed to superstores if you only need a few things.”

“Sobeys consistently delivers a top-notch grocery shopping experience. From fresh produce to a wide selection of products, their commitment to quality is evident. The store layout is organized, making it easy to navigate, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Their baking section is a haven for anyone passionate about creating delicious treats. Additionally, the cheese section is impressive, offering a delightful array of cheeses from various regions. Overall, a reliable choice for all your grocery needs.”

115 Marquis Dr, Saskatoon“Honestly, you can't beat $1.50 polish sausage and a drink. Where can you eat for less? Not even at home. Other food can be a bit expensive there, but its tasty (for fast food) and still less than you'd spend at McDonald's!”
“Zamzam is my favorite place to shop. It is one of the cleanest places to shop and I love how the staff is always helpful and knows their products. I love the variety of food and the quality of the meat. I am a big fan of the Halal meat selection here, and it is the only place that I have found that has all the varieties of Halal meats that I love.”
“Very helpful staff as I was looking for GF appetizers, reasonable prices as well. The store is narrow, so people do crowd, but nice to know that the staff do limit customers coming in. Thanks”
“I have been to this store many times, the costumer service is excellent, the staff are very helpful to costumers when looking for an item. We can get our items for iftar like, shahi jalebi, shingara, daal puri, muglai paratha, chicken samosas, chicken patties, and tuna kabob. It is very delicious, and I would highly recommend trying it for yourself. My younger brother always liked daal puri, which is his favourite and he also calls it, a circle shingara, my favourite item is the chicken samosa, because it’s packed full of flavour, it’s crunchy on the outside, and it’s savoury on the inside. You can also find Bangladeshi vegetables, fish all the time. We always visit this place because it is a go to for getting halal meat and food.”
“So happy this location has reopened! Staff are knowledgeable about the local products. There is a lot of options for meat which is an awesome way to support local (also gives great meal inspiration). I'm looking forward to more products as the store improves!”
