While I was checking out, I mentioned a furniture staining project I embarked on and am struggling with. The associate was very knowledgeable and helped me think through options. I am very impressed and will definitely be back in the future!”

“I had an outstanding experience with Will and the team at Gateway Supply on the HVAC side. This was my first visit to the store, and I was there to pick up supplies for a job. I also grabbed some tools and a lunch box while I was there. Will and the rest of the team are truly exceptional individuals! The experience at this supply store has been the best I've ever had. I will definitely be returning to this store for all my tool and supply shopping in the future. The deals are excellent and the people are friendly!”

“I looked for over a month at different dealers and all kinds of brands. Once I visited Catoe's power equipment my search was over. Everyone I talked to was helpful and courteous and Robin did a awesome job helping me to get the right Zero turn. They are over 60 miles from my residence and I have zero regrets on traveling to do business with them. If you need outdoor power equipment you should give them a try.”

“Had to run in for an emergency. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. First time there and was in a hurry so I didn't look much but I know I'm going back. Looks like you can find about anything there. Everything is very neat, clean and well organized. I look forward to looking around longer next time.”

“We could not be more pleased with our new doors! Our old wooden door was really dragging down the appearance of our Craftsman-style home. Bill helped us design the perfect upgrade--a pair of iron doors with Flemish bronze lites. What an improvement! And the quality is like nothing we have ever seen. The installation crew was professional and respectful of our property. Highly recommend Southern Custom Doors!”

“For many years I have purchased lumber materials for a local foundation repair company, I've had nothing but supreme service from Lacy and James Sutton. They always been able to provide me with the proper lumber grades and retention ratings for the lumber specifications by our engineers on a timely fashion. You just dont find that type of customer service these days. Their business practice and values are truly a blessing!!! †”

“Waylon Lawhon gave some of the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. He was quick, helpful, and really knew what he was doing. Didn’t waste time, didn’t make things complicated, just straight-up good service. Because of that experience, I honestly don’t see myself going to another hardware store again. I go out of my way to come here now just because interactions like that are hard to find anymore. It makes a big difference when someone actually takes care of you like that. The staff at the front register were also very friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference when you walk in. The overall experience here is consistently positive, and that level of service is the reason I keep coming back instead of going anywhere else. Big shoutout to everybody in the store!!!! Y’all rock Bo!!!!!!”

“Visited for the first time today. As of 7/31/2020, posted hours on the store say 10a-2p because of COVID-19. However, the owner was there and took care of filling my propane tank even though I arrived ~2:15p. Great, quick service and fairly priced. Will probably make this my go-to propane place from now on.”

“The staff is always helpful, whether they are busy or not, which most of the time it is busy there. I believe it’s because of the staff and doing everything in their power to help you as much as possible. I gotta give it up to them because every employee that I’ve come in contact with, if you need help looking for something, they know exactly where it is. I would be lost in that store for hours lol so idk how they do it, but they are definitely great at what they do. Keep up the great work!!! 😊”

“I always find it interesting to read others reviews before I post my experience. I was very surprised by the low reviews based on my rental. However many of the 1 and 2 stars are from years ago, so perhaps Home Depot heard your cries for help and improved. We rented a large jack hammer to deal with some very stubborn rock (from hell since even the excavator we rented [from a machine rental company] was not doing the job). From my 1st phone call to the return process, these young ladies were great and very knowledgeable, kind and courteous. They were crazy busy from the moment I walked into the store with pick ups, drop offs, phone calls, walk ups asking questions, helping load (yes these ladies were loading equipment, too), they really were very patient super stars, especially now during covid and all the extra that extra work it entails. I can definitely say my experience at HD tool rental department were definitely 5 stars.”

“If you’ve ever tackled a weekend project in the Columbia area, there’s a good chance your journey started, or ended, at Home Depot on Harbison Boulevard. This location has become a reliable anchor for homeowners, contractors, and ambitious DIYers navigating one of the Midlands’ busiest retail corridors. The Harbison Home Depot sits in an area that has long been a hub of growth and commerce. What was once largely wooded land near the Broad River transformed in the late 20th century into one of Columbia’s most active shopping districts. In many ways, this store reflects that evolution: practical, well-established, and built to support a growing community that’s constantly fixing, building, and improving. Inside, the store is spacious, clean, and well-organized for a box store of its size. Lumber, plumbing, electrical, and garden sections are clearly laid out, making it easy to move from idea to materials without wandering aimlessly. Inventory is typically strong, and the shelves stay well-stocked even during peak seasons, whether it’s hurricane prep, spring planting, or that sudden “I can finish this today” home repair. What really elevates this Home Depot is the staff. Associates are approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely willing to help you solve problems, not just point down an aisle and disappear. Whether you’re figuring out the right size breaker, matching paint from a mystery sample, or debating between mulch options, there’s usually someone nearby who knows their stuff and doesn’t mind taking a minute to explain it. The garden center is another highlight, especially for locals who know how quickly Midlands weather can swing. Plants are well cared for, seasonal selections rotate regularly, and it’s a solid stop for both serious landscapers and casual backyard gardeners. Practical touches make the experience smoother: easy parking, efficient checkout, and a location that’s convenient to I-26 and surrounding neighborhoods. It’s the kind of store where you can run in for one item—and yes, occasionally leave with five—but still feel like the trip was productive. In short, Home Depot Harbison does exactly what a great box store should do: provide the tools, materials, and guidance people need to keep homes and businesses moving forward. It’s dependable, well-run, and firmly rooted in the fabric of the Harbison community, just like the projects it helps bring to life.”

“My name is Angela Lynch. Sorry, son’s signed on my phone. Lowe’s, thank you for your outstanding customer service provider in the waiting period of my order to delivery. He/she has accentuated the assistance he/she’d cover in any aspect of help should I need some, astoundingly. Very courteous and very polite. I am excited to be waiting for the washer and dryer and look forward to the services purchased. Thank you immensely!!!”

“95% of my shopping for work is done at this Lowe’s location. I have noticed recently that the paint department has really stepped up! They are cheerful and willing to help. This last time I was in Jasmine was a very big help in finding a price for a ceiling fan that I needed. Thank you!”
