“I buy a lot of tools and supplies here for my farm shop. They have good stuff along with the cheaper one use products. Be selective and check reviews, you will be surprized.”
“The best place in town to get plumbing and electric supplies. They know what you need and they usually have it they're not like Lowe's at home Depot with nobody that works there it knows anything other employees been there for good while best place in town to get car keys made too they always work and door keys”
“Had to run in for an emergency. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. First time there and was in a hurry so I didn't look much but I know I'm going back. Looks like you can find about anything there. Everything is very neat, clean and well organized. I look forward to looking around longer next time.”
“They're always informative and helpful about parts and project suggestions. If they somehow don't have what you're looking for, their combined experience in the field will lead you in the right direction”
“Kind gentleman behind the counter but FYI they don't work on Makita Chainsaws unless it s a chain replacement. He or they will refer you to Monroe s off of Ft Jackson Blvd”
“Simply amazing store! Everything you could need from tools to work clothes, boots to baby chickens, animal feed to snacks and toys. I'm always pleased when I'm here because I always find something new! The store is clean, easy access for people with disabilities and the workers here are very knowledgeable and friendly. Tammy was a great help!”

“12 years ago my husband & I found this store when we were building our home. We outfitted almost the entire interior with quality items that are still serving us well (cabinets, entire bathroom & kitchen, wood flooring, tile & slate). Over the weekend when choosing where to go for an add on bathroom in the basement we decided to go back, since we had such good luck there so many years ago. Andrew was very accommodating and efficient in helping us with our purchases & even helped out with changing out an item (oops, our fault not theirs) after the sale. Same manager was there that helped us out 12 yrs ago! Great to see a business still going strong & doing right by customers consistently. Side note..... did I mention the prices are very reasonable ?”
“These guys are the absolute best of the best at what they do. The professionalism is everywhere and I always felt like I was their #1 priority.I dealt with Daniel Gillespie for my door and he kept me updated every step of the way on what was happening with it and where they were in the process. The finished product looks amazing, and they even include a penny with the year that the door was installed on right below the latch. Talk about a custom conversation piece. It really is a nice touch. We got our side door done and will be using them again to get our front door and sidelights done.Fantastic experience from start to finish.”
“Big shout out to my girl MelG. She and Hope got me set up with the NEW!? pro account and entered me in the pro week raffle. It’s not just this week. These ladies are helping people, they’re helping people on the daily with all their home improvement needs. Much love ladies do your thing”

“Visited for the first time today. As of 7/31/2020, posted hours on the store say 10a-2p because of COVID-19. However, the owner was there and took care of filling my propane tank even though I arrived ~2:15p. Great, quick service and fairly priced. Will probably make this my go-to propane place from now on.”
“I would like to give a shout out to an exceptional employee at the Lowe’s in Harbison in Columbia, SC. His name is Trey and he works in the garden center. He is ALWAYS helpful and seems to love working there. He is also very knowledgeable!!”
“I delt with Nate. He helped me to purchase the 11 new windows for our home. He is easy to deal with and eager to assist. I would not hesitate recommending Nate at any time.”

“I must say that Gary was absolutely going above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed. Will definitely do buisness with him in the future! I'd rather drive an hour to deal with him and this company than deal with some of my local companies.”
“Went in here a few weeks ago. They were just getting their items out for Black Friday. Got some sawhorses at a really good deal. Real clean and well stocked. The outdoor section is one of the best I have been to. Many different statues to look at and the garden tools seem good quality as well”
“Went to get ro get sand and salt for the upcoming storm. Everything was great until I literally checked that it was over 900 pounds of sand and salt in bags. The customer service rep had to wait about 15 mins for a worker to help haul it to the back of the truck. We gave the worker a tip. Great service but lowes needs to employ more people.”
“My Pickup order was delivered to me in my Truck exactly when I parked! Employee (Liashia) was Very Nice and Polite! Great to experience excellent Customer Service and Pickup!”
“If you’ve ever tackled a weekend project in the Columbia area, there’s a good chance your journey started, or ended, at Home Depot on Harbison Boulevard. This location has become a reliable anchor for homeowners, contractors, and ambitious DIYers navigating one of the Midlands’ busiest retail corridors.
The Harbison Home Depot sits in an area that has long been a hub of growth and commerce. What was once largely wooded land near the Broad River transformed in the late 20th century into one of Columbia’s most active shopping districts. In many ways, this store reflects that evolution: practical, well-established, and built to support a growing community that’s constantly fixing, building, and improving.
Inside, the store is spacious, clean, and well-organized for a box store of its size. Lumber, plumbing, electrical, and garden sections are clearly laid out, making it easy to move from idea to materials without wandering aimlessly. Inventory is typically strong, and the shelves stay well-stocked even during peak seasons, whether it’s hurricane prep, spring planting, or that sudden “I can finish this today” home repair.
What really elevates this Home Depot is the staff. Associates are approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely willing to help you solve problems, not just point down an aisle and disappear. Whether you’re figuring out the right size breaker, matching paint from a mystery sample, or debating between mulch options, there’s usually someone nearby who knows their stuff and doesn’t mind taking a minute to explain it.
The garden center is another highlight, especially for locals who know how quickly Midlands weather can swing. Plants are well cared for, seasonal selections rotate regularly, and it’s a solid stop for both serious landscapers and casual backyard gardeners.
Practical touches make the experience smoother: easy parking, efficient checkout, and a location that’s convenient to I-26 and surrounding neighborhoods. It’s the kind of store where you can run in for one item—and yes, occasionally leave with five—but still feel like the trip was productive.
In short, Home Depot Harbison does exactly what a great box store should do: provide the tools, materials, and guidance people need to keep homes and businesses moving forward. It’s dependable, well-run, and firmly rooted in the fabric of the Harbison community, just like the projects it helps bring to life.”
“Great service. Wanted to buy display of some lamps they had on clearance but the Associate wasnt sure if I could. She went above and beyond. Checking other stores and online for me. Thank you.... really wanted those lamps tho?”
“I had an outstanding experience at Lowe’s and wanted to share my appreciation.
I stopped in to purchase fence panels and was blown away by the amazing price. The team in the lawn department—Joel, Tyson, Trip, and Sergio—went above and beyond to help me. They assisted with selecting the best panels, even offering a couple at a reduced price due to slight damage, which I truly appreciated. On top of that, they helped load everything onto my trailer quickly and carefully. Their professionalism and willingness to help made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
I also brought my dog, Echo, with me, and he absolutely loved the visit. He enjoyed picking out his own toy and even got a snack—a slice of pizza—from Ms. Connie. The attention and “pampered paw” treatment he received throughout the store made the experience even more special.
Thank you to everyone who helped and made our visit more than enjoyable. It’s customer service like this that keeps us coming back!”
“The store is well organized which makes it easy to find things. The coupon was honored that was advertised. The staff at the register was very helpful and friendly. Recommended”
