“I use to hate to go inside of the branch but last week I decided to go inside and speak with someone and I'm glad I did. I had Ms. Walker and I was very pleased. I know i can be a bit difficult but she was so calm and patient with me. She took care all my needs and also allowed me to know some offers I was missing out on. She was not pushing anything on me which I was very glad of. She made my bank experience extremely comfortable and also kept me from closing my accounts and ending my relationship with them. Only thing I wish they do is open the windows back up. Other than that thank you Ms. Walker for my inside experience at this branch.”

After the atm in Evans ate my money (a few times) I always go to the drive thru now and deposit my cash/checks.The drive thru tellers are so professional and very speedy with transactions. I come at least once a week and know it will be a breeze every time. Haven’t been to the ATM in almost a year!”

This is a consequence on their end, not the bank's. And if the policy is midnight and you don't like it, change banks. However, this is probably a standard at most banks. Happy day to all!”

“Update: Shortly after I posted this review, Mallory reached out to me as seen below. I gave her a call and she listened carefully to the details of my concerns. She put me in touch with Gary Wertz who resolved all of the issues I was experiencing in a matter of minutes. He also took an interest in getting feedback to improve their business. I am really impressed with their drive to fix customer concerns. While I wish I hadn't had to resort to a negative online review to get the assistance I needed, these two really came through! I am pleased to continue to be a customer at Security Federal Bank. I would encourage anyone who has concerns about their banking experience to escalate these concerns upwards- there are people at this bank who care and will help.Original Post: I am only giving this branch 1 star because 0 is not an option. This used to be a great bank, but now they will use any opportunity available to add fees to your account and make it difficult to utilize their services then blame you for the issues. I already switched to primarily using online banking a few years ago due to significantly better internet rates and only maintained a local bank for convenience. However, the atrocious customer service I have received recently from this bank has demonstrated it's not worth it. My advice is to take your money elsewhere!”
