Not only was she knowledgeable throughout our interaction, she helped us find the perfect grill, ordered it for us to be delivered, and helped us find other items we had on our list throughout the store. You can tell she is passionate about what she does and we will be returning to this location specifically because of her incredible service. She is the definition of an all-star associate!”
“Called Carol’s Ace Hardware this morning and spoke with Chase about matching a price on a tankless water heater flush kit. Without any hesitation, he told me to come in. When I got to the store, the manager personally walked me over to the item, handled the price match without any fuss, rang it up, and thanked me for my business with a smile.
Fantastic service, a truly customer-oriented team, and an overall great buying experience. This is exactly the kind of service you rarely get at Lowe’s or Home Depot, where they often just point you toward an aisle and walk away. At Carol’s Ace, they actually take care of the customer.

“I brought an antique Pirate's Box to the Waxhaw Ace Hardware location yesterday to see if anyone at the store could help me fix the closure part on it. The box belonged to my dad who passed away 18 years ago and it is very special to me. “The staff was super nice to me and very enthusiastic about lending me advice as a brand new gardener.
I wish they were open on Saturdays… their store is the largest piece of real estate on the strip and my visitors were SO excited when they saw the old, inviting shop… only for it to be closed all weekend + Mondays, which is typically the only day bank holidays fall on. So, unless I use PTO, I can never actually shop here unless I’m off work already.
I think if they opened at least for half the day on Saturdays, it would bring so much more charm to the strip - especially if you purchase plants and seedlings at the next door farmers market! It’s a real bummer for most of us who have to work Mon-Fri, 8-5, but Im happy they are successful nonetheless.”

“Their Icon brand for ratchets and torque wrenches are absolutely top quality I compare to Snap-On. I just purchased a pair of their six ton jack stands which I totally compare to Snap-On quality as well. I love their disposable nitrile, latex colored gloves.”

The sales reps make it very easy for either customer or contractors. its best to know exactly what you want prior to coming in (consulting with your contractor if you are the homeowner) so that you dont waste time. I like working with Clay because he's kind.”

The associates and the people at the cash registers made me feel very comfortable, and I was treated so well, better than I've ever been treated before. “I have to give Waxhaw Lowe’s a huge shout. They took a parking spot up towards the front and put temporary grass, pavers, flowers, the flags of all military services and a US flag at half mast. Had to bring back some product left over from the job and was refunded without issue and I must say that the ladies at the desk were so happy to help. Every person who has helped me inside this particular store has helped me get through putting my home back together after a fire and I really appreciate the effort that each person has given. Huge difference from a few years ago and chose to go to the competition. My cabinet installer suggested that I work with this particular person in cabinets, and I’m so glad that I listened to his recommendation.”

“Let me 1st say that I'm a DIY warrior. My house AC went out and I decided to try to fix it on my own before calling a technician. I decided to start with changing out the capacitor. I went in to the store and Brooke held my hand and made sure that I got everything that I needed. She was extra patient and helpful. Truly a blessing! “This is a great location. Well stocked with amazing customer service. My husband was looking for a part for his drill to help us disassemble a desk to move it to a new room. We were looking independently when Blue came up and helped us. He was awesome then I selected a Stanley cup and we looked at some other items and headed to self check out. We had a gift card so we were waiting for the employee to help us (they have to type in your DL#) and a nice lady who appeared to be a manager came out of her office to ask if we needed help because we were kinda standing there. She was super nice and said to get started and the attendant would be right over to help. I believe his name was Fabian sooo nice super helpful. The Stanley cup I selected was incorrectly labeled for the price and he happily adjusted it for me. Super excellent customer service and stock. We are happy to be living so close to this location. Tons of helpful employees looking to actively help customers was a breath of fresh air.”
