“While strolling through Charleston City Market, I happened upon this awesome stall selling a plethora of sandals, wedges and other Summer styles of shoes. Imagine my surprise, since I needed sandals for the continuation of our trip down to Myrtle Beach. What caught my eye, in addition to the awesome sandals, was the statement they are MACHINE WASHABLE! I had never heard of any shoes being machine washable except canvas tennis shoes! After trying on my size and walking around a bit in an attempt to test them out, I purchased the pair below which were VERY comfortable even with my limited testing abilities. Included with my purchase was their card/website info, this way I can order other styles from the comfort of my home, after we return from the beach and can also see if they live up to their claims! I have my eye on several other styles, fingers crossed”
“Sarah always makes me feel special and welcome - whether I'm there to buy shoes or not. Her outstanding customer service elevates the entire experience.
Plus, Freebirds are fantastic shoes! Every pair I have ever purchased was comfortable straight out of the box. I don't normally wear heels, but I can walk downtown in my Freebirds without my feet hurting at the end of the day.

“Everyone is a welcome customer at M. Dumas. They offer a wide variety of men’s fashion at differing prices, and for this reason they welcome everyone as a potential customer. I’m only an occasional shopper but am always greeted with a warm greeting and genuine desire to help. The sales staff will leave you alone to explore or guide you to specific choices, it’s your call. This is what distinguishes M.Dumas for me - they welcome me as a customer, not knowing if I’m buying or not. I’m still their valued customer. Unlike two other men’s stores on King St. where upon entering I’m quickly assessed as an unlikely buyer therefore not worthy of attention, and sometimes not even a greeting. For this reason alone I’ll always be an M.Dumas buyer; they have great clothes but an even better attitude toward all their customers.”
“Giving a big shout out of thanks to Mgr. Nancy, and assistant mgr. Stephanie for their help in tracking down my online order via the Johnny Was website. I was unable to get through to the customer service dept, and contacted the brick and mortar store in Kiawah, SC. “I am a diehard Anthro follower, and love purchasing from them. However, the downtown store is not the greatest. They never have much in stock, and when they actually do have some things in-store, they are usually ruined with makeup or crazy sizes. The staff is really welcoming and friendly, and the items they do have are sometimes good (hit or miss). Still a good experience, just not the best anthro experience I’ve had.”

All their products are so well made and reasonably priced considering the product quality. Both Doreen and Carol were absolutely amazing, hoping above and beyond to provide an upscale experience and superbe service! I would even say it was a better experience than quite a few other high luxury brands. They offered to ship our order since we didn't have much room in our luggage, which we loved as an option! I have enjoyed receiving the catalog for years but it was so much better to see, try on, and feel the tailored clothing, sweaters, and fine shirting. I was able to purchase a beautiful sports coat, some shirts, and a sweater and I like them all. I found the customer service, both in the store and with the online sales, to be very attentive. We were staying at a hotel up the street and visited three different days. In addition, there was a minor issue with the sports coat but it was quickly resolved and shipped overnight to me. I look forward to my next visit to the store as well as receiving the catalogs.”

“Mainly a women's store, but they do have a limited supply of ON Cloud shoes, excellent for walking (moi!), jogging and/or hiking. While the missus was shopping, I sat on one of the two really comfy curved smaller sofas. I sat until my wife told me that they also had ON Cloud shoes for men, tucked away in the back. A helpful lady sales person helped me select an unusual color of olive drab pair. As I was putting my other shoes back on, she said their was a two tone black pair on sale ($40 cheaper), which she had in her hands! Wow. How many sales people do that? Unfortunately they were not as comfy so I bought the more expensive pair. Thanks for the great sales staff which tried to save me money.”
