“This store is very near my home, so it is wonderfully convenient. If you are expecting a super store hardware store, this is not it. This is a smaller hardware store with lots of great little things (I call them treasurers) you may not find in the bigger places. They do have the essential things for plumbing, painting, fixing, planting, ant control, etc. But they also have handmade things you can give as gifts that are local to the area. Very cute. The people that work here are very knowledgable and helpful. I have run in here for a new air filter, or things to fix my bathroom sink or get a copy of a key. The post office no longer has a little office in here.”

“Great! The Dorchester County Master Gardener Office is located in Woods Ace Hardware on Trolley Rd.
They will take soil samples to Clemson for evaluation…$6 each with 2 cups of soil!
They also answer garden questions! SO Convenient!
AND you can have a beer -Bolts and Brews! Sit amongst the plants for sale starting at 4 most days.
Oh yeah they have hardware stuff tooo!!!
Great to have such a hardware store so close to me with service people to ask questions! Unlike Lowe’s and Home Depot…which are so big and no help.”
