The woman who works with Charlie almost every day: she is an exceptional person!! I have seen her deal with customers, that I frankly would have told to pound sand and take their attitude with them!! Her? Nope, she was stellar at defusing the grumpy irate old man. \n\nI simply do not have the vocabulary to express how happy I am to get my prescriptions filled at this CVS. I have closer pharmacies and I am not a fan of Target. “This place and all the people are just wonderful! I work at a vet clinic and they are one of our go to places to use when we need a drug compounded. I recently called for a rather unusual drug request for a patient and I believe her name was Becky was just great! She walked me through everything and expressed her concerns so we both agreed to double check with the Dr. again to confirm all the things to make sure we do everything right. Long story short the Dr. altered the dosage/amount and we ended up being able to use our online pharmacy for client to order medication. I got busy with appointments and forgot to call back letting them know. They called before we closed to Check in on what are plan was, which we let them know we ended up going a different route. But that stood out to me as such amazing customer service!! And they are always so kind and helpful.”

They’re always so kind, and willing to answer any questions and explain things I may not understand!! I can’t recall the woman’s name, but there’s a very sweet woman that works here and she is sweet to everyone - even the customers I’ve seen be nasty or rude to her.”

The lid of a plastic container came off as my 6 year old was pulling it out the cart and the mixture of snacks spilled everywhere. She was very helpful with cleaning it and helping me check out. “Absolutely the best pharmacy in the Charleston/Summerville region hands down. I’ve used plenty of CVS around the area and have never had the experience I’ve had at the central avenue location. I grew up in a very small town in Tennessee and I feel like I’m using my local mom and pop pharmacy every time I walk back to the counter. I don’t even go to the drive through because I like seeing the smiling faces and hearing all of them saying hello to me each time I come in. I had a severe accident a little over a year ago and each time I come in they are concerned on how I’m doing and how the medication is working. I just want to say thank you to each and every one of you!”

Also you can't read the Walgreens coupons - faint ink printing. We've switched everything to CVS. Also Jaleel in Pharmacy gives excellent care and service - you can tell he cares about his customers!”

“My mom shops here, I'm from out of town so I don't really shop here but I will whenever I'm visiting. I walked by and overheard a conversation between a customer and an employee, he was so nice to the older gentleman. I think his name was Jon wearing black sunglasses, he was bringing back the assisted shopping cart and offered to help the customer anytime he was there, very personable and sincere. He even said hello to me as I walked by which was really nice to be acknowledged. It inspired me to go inside and tell a manager, I hope he gets recognition for being such a good person.”

I called this one for help and they immediately answered and got the ball rolling on getting a RX transferred temporarily from a third Walgreens in the upstate for the month. I stuck with this one when I made photo Christmas cards online too and they were ready within 30-45 minutes. We were greeted at the front door when we arrived, which was a change, most of the time I don't see anyone when I'm walking into the other store. There was also someone to help get the cards right away. I'll definitely continue to use this Walgreens from now on. It's also a lot easier to get in and out of.”

The reason given every time was supplier backorder issues, Of course, I was deaperate to refill and would have to call around and look for alternative pharmacies. Harris Teeter was the answer I found.Im now in the process of moving all of the prescriptions for my entire family to HT and I recommend them to people I know. The friendliness and professionalism of the HT Staff I've experienced over the last few months made the choice easy.HT always goes the extra step to provide that much needed above and beyond customer service when necessary. That's what I'm looking for in a pharmacy. Highly recommend!”

“Ive been a resident for a few years and have never been to this location but I hear my co workers talk about the hot dogs and how good they are! I was not disappointed in them at all! they also have ice cream and nostalgic candies and quick pick me ups. I was disappointed in the ice cream, I got the butter pecan and it didn't taste like butter pecan at all.. I would recommend a different vendor. Outside of that, they have everything you need!”
