“BHT tries their best to get you in same day. The price of labor is fair. The service writer is very kind and will explain things in depth if needed. The owner has gone above and beyond to solve a suspected problem that was developed after servicing our vehicle. Turns out it wasn't likely directly their fault but the service exposed an underlying problem. The warranty'ed the repair amd conducted a 2nd alignment.But what sets them apart is as a business they sponsor an adolescent mechanic camp and I've personally witnessed the owners and staff return their blessing to the community. In particular, I called once asking for help on how to help a family warranty their tools (brand name auto tools) they'd lost in a catastrophic fire. In addition BHT donated to the family directly through the local credit union.Small town hospitality, generational work ethic, supported mechanics with continuing education and staff recognition. The kind of place you would chose to patronize even if it was slightly more expensive”
“We pulled in with a completely flat tire on our passenger van on a very busy day at the shop. The office clerk was helpful and prioritized our immediate need. He was patient with our kids milling around in the waiting room. The mechanic who worked on the vehicle was efficient and capable. Our tire was patched from a sizable puncture and back on the van in about 1/2 an hour. It cost us $2 for the patch, $20 for the labor. The Tires, Tires, Tires staff totally saved our day and thanked US for stopping. They totally could have taken advantage of our situation and did not. We would highly recommend this shop for efficiency, cleanliness and staff integrity.”
“I highly recommend Halversen’s! Super fast and very knowledgeable and also very reasonable. He has worked on my truck twice. I was in a tight pinch of a schedule to have the bedside replaced on my truck at another location on the same week my fuel pump went out. “I was on an extended road trip when I noticed that it was time for an oil change and to rotate my tires. My husband always believed that an oil change at the right time could extend the life of your vehicle. So I always followed his thinking. So not knowing anybody to ask I went on line to check reviews saw Bob's Auto Service there reviews were pretty good so tried to call, the line was busy forever so decided to drive over yes they we're that busy but made an appointment for the day after. Well took car in and asked if they could do a once over since the car had been on the road for a while. Could they check fluids, belts, and things under the hood they were also going to rotate the tires.Well sure enough they found a problem the front seal was seeping this could have turned into a major problem and I never would have found it on my own.If it wasn't for those guys doing such a good job I could have been driving anywhere and run into seriousissues by myself. So all the reviews were true. They sure did right by me”
“In September 2022 we were in our Chevy 3500 Roadtrek conversion van trip from Alabama to Seattle. While in Rapid City we noticed a rear wheel hub was leaking fluid, which could have resulted in a disastrous failure further along in the trip. The nice people at Royal quickly diagnosed the needed repairs, ordered the parts overnight, and made the repairs the next day. We were very, very pleased with the service we received.”
“Made an appointment as we were traveling thru SD to get the fuel filter changed. Wound up getting an oil change as well. Very knowlegeable folks and easy to work with.However, after changing out my truck's FCA and sending unit (only 3100 miles later) I decided to do the fuel filter as well to be thorough. In doing so, I found that my truck still has the original fuel filter housing and an old-style filter. RDS said that I already had an upgraded housing so the filter change wouldn't be an issue.It's clear from the state of the housing and filter that it was not changed even though I was charged for it.EDIT:Jackie @ RDS did some sleuthing and tracked me down to make this right. It was an error on the technician's part and they owned it (hey, everyone makes mistakes).I just KNEW that this was a solid shop with a stand-up team from my first interaction with them. You can see it in their reviews and this is why I took my truck to them in the first place. I was very surprised by the filter and it actually hurt a bit to write the review. However, I will not hesitate to use them again the next time we go through Rapid City!”

“We are on a cross country road trip and our AC went out. Saw these great reviews so we decided to give them a try. They had us come on in and even though they were busy John dropped everything and came out to look at our car. The issue was a little more than we expected so we decided to keep going on our trip and get it fixed when we got to our destination. Thankfully the weather isn't too bad out right now! So thankful for these guys and this shop who got us right in, checked out our van and gave us an honest view of what was going on. Highly recommend!!”

Took my 11 year old Dodge Dart Limited in for misfire issues, quickly diagnosed and repaired my problem, along with a full service on the vehicle and it runs like brand new. “While hunting in the Black Hills my truck's transmission was damaged and not able to be driven the 300 miles home. Not knowing any repair shops in Rapid City ,I called many of which none were able to even look at it for weeks. Finally a friend recommended Sumners. They understood my dilemma ,checked out the problem and searched extensively for the obsolete part on the internet, finding it and repaired my truck in as short of time as possible. I would recommend Sumners to all. In my opinion, they go the extra mile for people for a fair price.”

“My sequoia needed a wheel alignment, my steering wheel required a little leftward tilt in order for the truck to drive straight.TMA did a great job for a reasonable price, 1/5 of what this would have cost had i taken it to the Toyota dealership.They seem to have a competent and efficient staff. I waited for the alignment to be completed in the waiting room. Completed in a reasonable amount of time (they were very busy but seemed to be handling the volume just fine). Not the cleanest lobby area but i do not really care. Focusing on what matters, the price point/value proposition of this place is gold plated.This place passed the test, and I will be returning and bringing my other vehicles here to have other work done.Service: Wheel alignment”
“Jamie (The Owner Of Neumiller Truck & Auto Body,) truly seems like an absolute class act based on some video auditing I personally experienced submitted by a gentleman and his son; which go by Amagansett Press (Jason) and The Watchman (Ben.)Jamie openly apologized on multiple opportunities (felt bad possibly coming off rash and/or aggressive) given as he felt a bit challenged and quite possibly threatened. Amagansett press and his son performed an auditing opportunity on live uncut video directly in front of his business address. Jamie's demeanor, response and lack of threat, was absolutely first-rate. Mr. Neumiller handled himself with a genuine, composed "class like" demeanor with that kind human level that our world seems to be missing.If I'm ever in the Rapid City, SI area, I would give him my business in an absolute heartbeat!Jamie, thank you for simply showing our world today in such a humanitarian level that is so absent in todays day to day operations.
