“Came in last second to get my AC recharged right around close. The owner was super kinda and professional and squeezed me in with very little time left in the day. Turned out i had multiple problems that were causing my ac to not work. He explained in full detail what the issue was and gave me a price to get the parts ordered before I left. The price of the repairs i jeed were a little costly for my old beater civic so the owner waived the diagnosticand labor for my visit. Earned my future business for sure! 5 stars! Starting with customer service - they were easily able to accommodate my schedule and get me in within 24 hours for a small dent/ding in my drivers side door. And to top it off, they were very reasonably priced! (Which is hard to come by these days!). “Took my tire in for a flat repair. Guys fixed it in under 30 minutes. Very pleased with the front sales department as well. This was after I had tried a competitor of theirs to get it fixed. The competitor was only trying to sell me a new tire which I didn't need and would not fix it due to a plug that I had put in. Said it was because the plug broke the steel threads. Didn't the screw do the same thing?? Very pleased with Tyrell Tires!! Will be using them in the future!!! Thank you!!”

“I am very cautious when it comes to taking my car to a shop I have never been too. I can say that AAMCO was great to work with and I will be back with any complex transmission repair needs!
I was referred here by Black Hill Tire (they are awesome too) and AAMCO was fantastic. Diagnosed the problem with my transmission and replaced the part very quickly. The cost was very fair. They did not try to fix things that weren't broke. Nick was extremely knowledgeable and very honest. Great experience and 100% recommend.”

“This shop was our last hope as we got stuck on a 35 hour road trip from west to (almost) east coast in our 1998 Volvo. On Friday the car started making a loud clunking noise, loudest between 25 and 40 mph. At that point we were on a reservation and South Dakota does not have a lot of big cities so we were glad to make it to Rapid City. We had our dog with us and a bunch of belongings in the car and it is fair to say we were pretty desperate. Other mechanics could not help or were straight up useless.
Then we came to Al's D & I Auto Repair. Everyone was friendly and although busy, Scott looked at our car straight away (on Monday when they opened) and said the wheel bearing was loose, so he tightened it free of charge and sent us on our way. We were very grateful.
The noise started again an hour into the drive and we ended up getting towed back straight to their shop. They exchanged the faulty wheel bearing and found out the drive shaft was broken as well. They ordered a new one from a place they had not ordered from before hoping it would arrive quickly. It was going to be 3 grand in total but we agreed to pay it as we trusted them. The part came and they said it is cheap shit and sucks, they could not put it in in good conscience and charge us that money so they ended up taking the drive shaft out and leaving it a two instead of four wheel drive. We were impressed by their honesty, availability and care. We ended up paying $700. The car has been driving great since. Scott and Tony were especially awesome.

“Great experience. I had an injector failure on the scanner. Rapid Diesel discovered a wiring issue. Injectors are expensive. They fixed the problem very economically. They were honest (when they had an opportunity to take advantage of an out of towner), efficient, and friendly. I’m very glad I chose them.”

“Troy did a spectacular job repainting the hood of my 2017 Toyota Rav 4. The clear coat started peeling off. Another large shop in town told my it would cost $3,000 to repaint just the hood. Troy and his crew did a beautiful job for a fraction of the price. We will be taking all of our vehicles to Troy and his crew for repainting. Their work is impeccable!”
