Pet Stores & Supplies

Pet Partners
1962 W State St, BristolI stopped in there a few minutes before closing time needing supplies for my cat who just left the vet after having been hit by a car this morning. They were super friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful when I was looking for easy things to feed and care for my baby. When I asked about a soft bed they told me that the ones they sold were soft but that they probably weren't plush enough and led me to a shopping cart of donated pet beds that someone lovingly hand made and went through them until they found a super plush soft one that would be comfortable and gave it to me. They could have up sold me anything in the store today but they chose to consider my pets needs over profits. That shows the true nature of their employees. They've gained a customer for life.

Delta Blues BBQ
724 State St, BristolI visited Delta Blues on 4th of July this past Saturday. I’m from Richmond, Va. but I would definitely drive 5hours back just for the food!!! Collard greens were THE best collards I’ve ever had in my life!! And not too expensive at all. I’m sitting at home right now wishing I some more of those darn collards. If you’re ever in Bristol, go to delta blues and I promise ya, you won’t be disappointed. BBQ done right

Machiavelli's Italian Restaurant
8 5th St, BristolThere were 5 of us for dinner last night. (4 adults and a 2 year old) We ordered 4 different pizzas- 3 were wheat based crust and 1 was gluten free, which is what I have to order no matter where I eat. My pizza last night was one of THE BEST gluten free pizzas I’ve ever eaten. It was better than the MOD Pizzas I ate in Arizona or Texas, and I love their pizza, so that’s saying a lot! It did take about 45 minutes for our pizzas to be made, but we enjoyed each other’s company (since we don’t live here full time) which made time pass by a little more quickly. We all enjoyed our meal.
