2803 E Oakland Ave, Johnson CityMy dog was ALWAYS terrified when I got the nail clippers out, but while we were in Johnson City TN & just randomly found this place. We went in at almost quitting time, but she said she could do her nails, (which was the reason we stopped there)! The waiting area was comfortable for me & my dog...the girl came to get her from me; & (my dog (Mia) went right with her with no fear at all); and just a few minutes later, she led Mia back to the waiting area & my dog was happy & was wagging her tail...a few minutes later the girl led her out (tail still wagging) & her nails looked GREAT! What an AWESOME EXPERIENCE for my dog & me! We will definitely be back!

Farmhouse Grooming
198 Flourville Rd, Johnson CityMy new to me adopted kitty is around 15 years old. She was very dirty and had awful dandruff and just looked and smelled bad. Farmhouse Grooming had her about 2.5 hours and when I picked her up, my kitty looked and smelled amazing. I could also tell she felt better too! She seemed very relaxed as well. I highly recommend! 708 Cherokee Rd, Johnson CityI have seen other comments about their prices and yes, they are a bit expensive, but in my experience they are a fantastic veterinary practice! I trust my animals with them and have always received top-notch care from them. I have several cats and will be rescuing another stray cat next week that I have built trust with. The staff here know me by name and know my pets by name. I have never had a bad experience with these fine folks and the care my pets receive is always top-notch. I've been with them for almost a year and a half now and I couldn't be happier. When I take my kitties there, I know they will get the best health services money can buy.

He was very thorough with the examination and honest about our options. Unfortunately I had to put the mare down and he helped her pass peacefully. Dr. Miller is also amazing and has taken care of my horses’ veterinary needs for several years! I trust them with my animals 100%!

1802 W Market St, Johnson CityI called for an appt they told me what they had, we went in for the appt Dr. Lamons told me that without any testing she was not able to tell me what was best for our Shelby, however she did say what she could do and told us to think about it and let her know what we wanted to do. Before too much time could go by our Shelby got very sick today 11/14/2025 my family has grieved Shelby dying all day the love and compassion these people showed us was nothing short of how they would want their family to be taken care of… they made my family keychains, they had a very well constructed box to put our Shelby in and wrapped her so sweet. They gave us the the best care today they was honest, compassionate and so loving! The staff was too! Our nurse Billie she was amazing, kind and gentle no rushing at all the fee was fair. We’ll be going to take Sadie out an other Yorkie there. As far as money I can’t tell you about much but as for the caring in that establishment I can tell you you can’t beat them! 5 out of 5!

Make a reservation though as it is a small space and walk-ins are limited. I've sat at the bar a few times and the bartenders have been nothing short of amazing.

Fuji Japanese Steakhouse
112 Sunset Dr, Johnson CityWe celebrated our son Eli's 18th birthday at Fuji's Japanese Steakhouse, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff made him feel so special, and the hibachi chef put on an amazing show with the volcano and all the fun tricks that make hibachi so entertaining. It made his birthday one to remember.
The service was outstanding. Our server was always checking on us, keeping our drinks filled, and making sure we had everything we needed. The chef was friendly, entertaining, and did an excellent job.
The food was absolutely delicious. My ribeye was cooked medium exactly the way I ordered it, and it practically melted in my mouth. My wife loved her Imperial Ribeye, and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The onion soup and salad were both excellent and a great way to start dinner.
The atmosphere was fun, clean, and perfect for celebrating a special occasion. Even though it's located in a shopping center, once you're inside, it's all about the experience. Our family of five, along with my mom, had a wonderful evening, and it was worth every penny.
If you're coming with a smaller group, you'll likely be seated with other guests at the hibachi table, which is part of the experience. If you'd rather have your own table, bring a larger group.
Thank you to everyone at Fuji's for making Eli's 18th birthday such a memorable celebration. We will definitely be back!
