“I've had a wonderful experience with OHCU since they financed a car for me in 2021. That car was unfortunately involved in an accident recently, and was totaled by insurance. I didn't have a choice but to finance another car. Kim Schuch at the Hendersonville branch was a tremendous help. She helped me explore my options, and I was able to get back into a vehicle that I know how to work on and trust. I was so shocked and surprised how friendly and down to earth everyone was, I went back a few days later and opened up my account with them. “Edit - Changed to 4 due to mostly being simply upset at the time however the card security is still an issueLet me start off by saying first this credit union is great. Never had a issue with any employee at this building ever.However their card security is 3rd party and they have little control to unlock your card. This is annoying due to the fact I have been flagged more times on sites I go onto the equivalent of amazon.Recently the broken clock did actually did get it right, except when I unlocked it 2-3 hours later without using the new card they relocked it. No message/call or anything. Thats fantastic especially if I needed the card.This wasn't an issue when I first had Ascend but they need to rethink who does security for them.”

I'm not a fan of large banks--old school I guess, as I like to speak and ask questions to an actual person. Thor kept us informed along our journey without having to be prompted to communicate. He acted as both a liaison with the underwriters and a consultant, giving us needed advice and frankly, calming me down (I can get feisty at times). Thanks to First Horizon and to Thor for a really good experience.”

“the other day i had gotten a check tried mobile depositing it and wells fargo customer care said i had to go to branch so i went to branch they deposited it into my account. 2 hours later wells fargo customer care say they are holding/closing account and i need to go to the branch the next day to stop it cause the check was “bad”. Go in the next day around 3:30pm and the branch had to make phone calls and everything to stop my account from closing/hold and get the check to deposit cause it was good. fast forward im sorry to the wounderful lady who helped me i forget your name but finaly at 5:15ish so almost 2 hours she was on the phone she finaly got everything fixed for me and the money deposited in the account next day. I just want to say thank you to this branch for helping me out and everything.”

“I didn’t catch the teller’s name but she was short blonde wearing a yellow blouse. She was the sweetest lady. I came in at closing time and she was very polite and still offered to help me as all others were closing their drawers. She smiled and thanked me for my business. I was so impressed and grateful to her. I haven’t utilized a lot of the services at this branch, but I always keep my accounts there because of generous people like her.”
