“Lots to look at on first floor and below. On the first floor, we looked at men's and women's clothing - regular price and 25% off. We wandered through the candy ($12 a pound) and kitchen area. We found and bought a bird feeder bell with holder for a bird loving friend. Near the register, we bought some stickers - 2 free and 2 for $4 each. Downstairs are the shoes and camping gear & clothing. Huge selection!! We haven't been camping in a long time, but we could be tempted to go again by all we saw! Cashier was friendly and efficient. All staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our wandering and purchases here.”

“I have been interested in 5.11 Tactical for quite some time, but never have given it a chance, being I’ve been skeptical of the quality. I always had a feel it was another wannabe high end “tactical” name, only seeing online shopping. My mistake.So, being I live close to the 5.11 Tactical store at North Peters Rd. Knoxville, I went in to check it out. The clothing and gear really caught my attention. This is where Jennifer comes in. Store associate, Jennifer, began to gently answer my questions and guide me to the type of clothing I had interest in. The conversation grew, exposing her immense knowledge of all the products and company and knowing what to present based on my questions.Jennifer is the type of sales person, representative and individual that has become so rare in retail business. Because of Jennifer, I bought a style of pant to give it a try. No doubt. Within the first few hours of wearing, Jennifer’s promise of quality was proven. I have returned since for more product, and am a new permanent customer.I have gained so much trust and respect in 5.11 Tactical, and Jennifer really is the reason I am now such a sold customer. My interactions with other staff has also been good, however, only brief. I look forward to wearing more 5.11 Tactical clothing and gear on a regular basis.”

“I can always find some things at this store. However, I am always frustrated by what I consider a rather limited choice in style options. For example, my last visit, several days ago, I was really wanting a traditional sweatshirt to wear mainly inside or for casual outings. While they had a good selection of sweatshirts they were ALL hoodies. And when I say ALL I mean every single one. Hoodies I find to be very uncomfortable to wear indoors or sitting around outdoors, because if you aren't actually wearing the hoodie, them it gathers behind your head and neck and is uncomfortable. This isn't the 1st time I have had this experience. I have shopped their in the past wanting several pair of shorts. And virtual all the shorts they had were Cargo styled shorts. As an older person that style simply looks silly on me not to mention the puffy pockets always snag things. It is as if the purchasing department at DXL decides one particular style of clothing is going to be popular and they only purchase that style. I don't understand it and it is extremely frustrating. But I don't have many options although I am always on the look out for other places to buy from.”

“What can I say about my friends at Marc Nelson? First is what they are not. Not a chain, box store, part timers, off the shelf. Reading that I would usually say that all that adds up to expensive.. well they aren’t that either. Up front you will find knowledgeable fashion advisors that are there to make sure you put your best foot forward. They will provide quality garments, that fit your body and your style at a reasonable price. In the back? A tailor!! I know that seems so 50 years ago but none of us men are that perfect model body. “I swear, I’ve never been to an Earthbound where everyone wasn’t incredibly nice and chill ? But this location really stood out to me, EVERY ONE of the staff was so cool and helpful! I got at outfit to wear on Christmas Eve and Luna helped me out so much. I didn’t catch one person’s name but they were awesome as well! This location didn’t have a huge selection like some stores but I found what I needed so that’s all that matters, ha! “This store has everything the VOLS fan would need. More hat variety than you know what to do with. If you don't find a hat here you like, you aren't going to find it. I wanted the usual orange with the white T and of course I out it. I almost change my mind and went with the Smokey dog but stayed my course and went with what I went here for. The store is large as expected and sells everything. The daughter works at the school, and I couldn't wait to check it out. You can even buy a pair of Lululemon pants. They do have a large clearance section. So many mugs and tumblers. Cute little kids and infant items. A must stop at when on campus”
