My first wreck I had other shops that took days just to get me and my insurance an estimate or they didn’t have employees that could explain the process or speak English. “So a couple years ago my 09 sierra with a 6l80 was diagnosed with a planetary issue in the trans, so the calls began. A local shop quoted me almost 8k for just a rebuild, that when the out of town calls began and I was referred to freakshow from a local and trusted mechanic. They ended up with the work, I got a stage 3 built 6l80 with a 2200 stall converter (since I still pull loaded trailers alot) and I got my truck back within the week all for under 5k. 150k + miles later truck is still doing great and trans still has clean crisp hard shifts so freakshow will definitely be my go to trans shop in the future if needed.”

“This place is a keeper! My toddler put some change in our Escalade DVD player about a year ago & we’ve been putting it off assuming it’d be a couple thousand to fix. I went to a few places that couldn’t help and was referred to Bill at Burkhart Electronics and he was incredible! He fixed it in less than two hours and it was barely over $100. He even acknowledged it would have cost $1,800 at the Cadillac dealership and still didn’t even try to rip me off. I’d honestly still would have been grateful if it was only $500! I’ll definitely be referring him to everyone in need of electronic repair and hope they’ll be around forever. Good businesses are hard to find.”
