“I don’t personally bank with this institution, but I would think if I changed from my current banker, I would definitely consider point bank. I was given a check from someone today and had to go cash it at point bank, when I walked in the door of the location on IH 35 and Teasley, in Denton, Texas I was promptly greeted with four friendly hellos, And four people inside waiting to help me out. Good customer service is kind of hard to come by these days in my personal opinion, but these guys did an exceptional job, and if you are an executive for Point Bank reading this, I highly encourage you make sure you retain these valuable assets for your organization. Big time thank you to Brennan, Corwin, Daniel, and Mason. Great job gentlemen. Enjoy your weekend!”

“We are staying in the area temporarily and needed to get something notarized We called another bank in town and the lady was rude and snippy. We called Independent Bank and everyone was very friendly and accommodating, despite the fact that we were not customers. They were very friendly on the phone, everyone was friendly and helpful in person. They have a very large, beautiful and comfortable waiting area. Our wait was very brief. Even the notary was very friendly and helpful. After we left, I realized a few more stops later, that I lost my keys. I called to check all my stops, including the bank. They again were so helpful, searching couch cushions and the parking lot even, without me asking. When I stopped back by to retrace my steps, they even helped me search again! I was incredibly grateful for their kindness. If we decide to stay in the area longer, this will be my bank!!!”

“I have used Point Bank of Little Elm for seven years, however used Point Bank of Lewisville for about eight years while employed at Lewisville Family Medical Associates. I have always been treated with great respect as a banking customer. I honestly have never had a single problem with this bank. Experience with all sorts of notary from real estate to very important medical documents. You could never ask for a more compassionate branch manager. Everything that I took to her to be completed was done with with joy. Our business relationship is built upon loyalty and respect. The entire banking staff is wonderful. “So here we are 23 years with the same bank. I travel for a living and transfer money from my personal account into my business account as needed. On this occasion I drove from Dallas to Houston. I had around $800 come out for rent earlier in the day where I keep my rv in Houston. I purchased fuel and that evening before going grocery shopping I checked my account on the app around 5pm. I had a couple of hundred dollars showing positive. I purchased my groceries went to my rv and had a nice dinner. The next day I open the app and my account is negative. I transfer money to bring it positive. Well a day later I have two over draft charges totaling $66 for the gas and groceries. I call the bank and ask to speak to my account manager. She begins to tell she won't refund the charges. I asked to speak to her supervisor a Ms Jones. I politely ask her to have Ms Jones call me. My new account manger calls with great news the can approve one of the over drafts to be removed. Linda Jones called and understood what the problem was. She refunded all my money. Good Job!”

“This is by far the best bank I have came across. They go above and beyond!! I come in there with dirty shoes , mud , whatever ... tell me it's OK... tells me where the water is at , then ask if I need something.. helped me with everything. Down to helping me open up a online app. I give them 10 stars ... ? I appreciate everything..I was just gonna keep my money in old soap box under the sink ..glad I opened up a account !!”

“BB&T has the best rates on auto loans and this location has the nicest, most knowledgeable staff (the branch manager, Sam, is the best). If you have financed a used car and used the dealership to find you the "best" rate, then unless you are a manager at the car dealership, you did not get the best rate you qualified for. The finance manager gets a rate back and then adds extra points to it in order to make more money for the dealership. BB&T does *not* do this so whatever rate you qualify for, they'll give you. The dealership where I was shopping at told me that the best rate they could give me was in the high 3's due to the type of vehicle I was buying. I knew this was a load of poo so I called Sam at BB&T and asked her to see what rates they could get me. They got me 2.05% on my used car. The dealership, of course, started backpedaling and saying they were somehow able to match it (meaning they could have gotten it for that rate all along but they were trying to make additional money from me). If you currently have a vehicle financed and are curious if you're paying too much interest, call Sam at BB&T. If you know your credit score, Sam can give you an idea of the rate you'd qualify for, and then if you would like to proceed, she can run your credit to finalize the deal. Sam was quick and responsive and really knew what she was talking about. Just one point of interest can save you over a thousand dollars over five years. It's definitely worth a phone call to check with Sam on rates. You could end up saving thousands of dollars like I did!”

“I came in to deposit a check. It was hard emotionally as it was from our failed IVF cycles. Tim and Tika (I probably spelled her name wrong I apologize) were so personal, kind , and willing to help. It was so nice to not feel like a transaction. They are so great and such an asset to this branch ! I will definitely come back to this branch and have it be my new branch because of their professionalism and kindness.”

“I was with NorthStar for some years when it became Independent Bank of Texas and now as it has evolved into Independent Financial. I have always received good service. I've never really run into any problems. They have been responsive when I've had needs or questions. And I don't know who said they closed at noon, but they don't. Different branch lobbies close anywhere from 3pm - 6pm. Just call. No biggie.”

“The beautiful set-up is quite unique from the typical bank lobby/waiting area. The wait was lengthy but comfortable. There is only one inside teller desk. I think things would flow better if there was a nice receptionist in the lobby to properly inform people of how things go and what to expect.”
