The staff have always been friendly and knowledgeable, with some employees being polite, prompt, and helpful, going above and beyond. Specific assistance, like getting wood cut, can be impressive with a chill and patient approach. Returns are handled smoothly. However, experiences can feel very meh. The order and structure of the aisles do not make much sense, causing confusion. Sometimes there is never an employee in sight when help is needed. The product quality can be inconsistent, with wood sometimes a bit damp, slimy, or having chips. Some hardware selections feel nickel-and-dimey without better options. Despite this, it remains a place with a decent selection and a dedicated team, described as the Toys R' Us for Blue Collar Americans where many get what they need under one roof.
This Home Depot is the best customer service I have ever experienced. The pro desk Bryan help find a loader when the normal guy was on break.
