777 State Hwy 95, BastropI called and asked if they had chicks, the lady on the phone said yes, so I decided to drive out and check out what they had. They didn’t have what I was after but the gentleman in the store was super helpful and informative. He showed me the schedule for their chick arrivals and even though I am from out of town I will definitely be back by when my chick type does arrive. They also didn’t mind my son and I hanging around gawking at the baby chicks for a bit either. I’d highly recommend stopping by.

2900 State Hwy 95, BastropOur new horse needed vet attention, and I also had questions regarding his health and overall proper care. I reached out to Bastrop Vet Hospital, and they assigned D. Rivera to make a visit to my property to check on our new horse.
I could not have been happier with the visit. For as knowledgeable as Dr. Rivera was regarding my horse, and the questions I had regarding his care, she also showed an organic passion for his well-being. I could tell she has a desire to care for equine and offered tremendous advice on his care and well-being moving forward. Her knowledge and understanding of my new pal gave me great confidence moving forward, and we put together a plan for future visits and an overall action plan for him.

The only negative part of the experience was the initial “welcoming” I received from the front desk lady. She was slightly condescending and rude, not comforting in a situation where I thought my dog was going to need surgery and I was clearly frazzled. Probably not the best first impression, but the staff in the back are what made a difference!

169 Overhill Rd, BastropMy dog Scout loves to go here. He loves Dwayne and it's obvious Dwayne loves him! Compassionate Care. Feels like you're taking him to your friend's house. Dwayne sent me all these pictures you can tell by the look Scouts eyes that he's very happy. The one picture where Scout is in the kennel he's drying after his bath and Dwayne said he's trying to use his telepathic energy to get another cookie! They have fair prices easy to work with I really like them a lot and recommend them.

Our family rescued a young German Shepherd mix who had such severe anxiety that we could barely get her to walk past our yard. She was fearful of other dogs and dangerous around people (even members of our own family) because she was so scared. After five weeks of board and train with Christie, she was a completely different dog. She now can go on long walks and loves any other dog she meets and can run and play for hours. Christie’s training didn’t just help our family, it gave our dog the confidence she needs to live a happy life. We are forever grateful to her and love her beautiful facility.

We had the shaggy dog roll and a bowl of their ramen which we both really enjoyed. The service was very friendly and the place itself is cozy. Looking forward to coming back!

717 State Hwy 71, BastropWe’ve been here several times and we consistently are served delicious fresh food, with the best service. The servers are swift to take your drink orders, and they keep an eye on refills and check on the tables to see if there’s anything else you need.
I love the sushi combo and their wonton soup.
My husband gets the Pink Lady Roll and he loves their Sweet and Sour soup.
We always want to try their other selections of Asian food and Ramen, but can’t break from the delicious sushi! ?

900 State Hwy 95 #103, BastropStopped to eat here on the way to Enchanted Rock and enjoyed a very delicious meal. We ordered the Real Thai Tom Yum soup, Pad Kra Pow, and Pad Thai. Food was brought to us quick and we left very satisfied. Would recommend eating here

I like that they give levels of spiciness- I got a 3 and boy it was pretty spicy, so definitely don't punch above your weight here. The spring rolls were lackluster, filled with mostly noodles. Otherwise everything was good. Service was friendly and pretty quick.
