“Food is always fresh when it's in season. They have all kinds of things, not just general groceries. The place is always well staffed and clean. As I am writing this, things are being changed around because of the remodeling they did recently.
The only criticism I have is that when they are out of stock it takes them a while to restock. Prices also hike sometimes, but I sure that is not the location's fault.”

“Love this place. You can pretty much find anything in this shopping center. Just beware of all the people crossing the road to get to their cars after they're done shopping or barely going into the stores. Because these people will look at you like you done ran over their entire family and then they'll just stopped in the middle of the street and then turn to look at you and roll their eyes. ?? It's actually quite hilarious.. ?”

“Walmart, my second home ! Just don’t buy meat from here and ALWAYS CHECK THE DATE ON BACON , AND COLD ITEMS ! I’ve found MANY things out of date ! Employees don’t check like they should”
“Went in to quickly get my fishing license. And I was there for about 30 min. Waiting on someone to come back to sporting goods. That knew how to issue fishing and hunting license”
“Gas prices usually amoung best in BCS area outside of Sam's and Costco ❤️. Trashes get emptied and area is clean. Window wash stuff is hot or miss; squeegees not always available or have water/wash fluid.

Biggest problem is that carwash. Not sure is same owner or not but it is horrible. Sometimes water or soap doesn't even come out and it'll wash your car nearly dry and leave all those tiny scratches. The drying cycle is not set long enough so you leave the wash with car still wet 20 to 30%...and with Texas heat all those water drops dry on your paint leaving water marks on your paint. So even though it's slightly cleaner than when you arrived (if the water and soap work that time) the spots still leave the car looking dirty.
I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt after the first time the bad stuff started happening because it's convenient and fast. Then it happened again, and again. By the 4th time I decided there was obviously a lack of maintenance on the wash and staff wasn't monitoring it's equipment, water or soap levels. So, I haven't been back to wash in a month as where I used to use it 2 times per week. Not sure what happened with it this summer ??♀️”
“The staff at this Dollar General are particularly friendly compared to some of the others in the BCS area.Plus, since the new management has taken over the store, she has really cleaned this place up. Especially the clearance area which used to be in shambles.”
“Not sure why this HEB has such a low rating. It is big and has lots of produce. My first visit to this HEB at College Station was enjoyable. I also ended up buying Chinese food at a discount (the owner wanted to give away the leftover food before closing) at a restaurant inside the HEB. I am happy with this place. If I'm back to Texas A&M and need groceries (or cheap Chinese food)- I will be baaaack. Since Kaliko asked what h-e-b stands for : HEB's CEO was Howard Edward Butt who named the store after himself, hence HEB. The store's slogan is "Here Everything's Better", so many presume that this is what HEB stands for.”

“Tacos of various stews, fried chicken, search for everything, gasoline and what stands out is that they change checks for cash only with your identification, the parking lot that they have just expanded across the street on one side for when you use a truck with a trailer, the space is very generous”
“Convenient location. One of the coolers in the front was not cold. I brought it to the cashier's attention and he told me he submitted a work order already. It was refreshing to hear one of the employees aware the thing was broke and doing something to get it repaired. That guy should be your next candidate to manage a district. We need more common sense thinking and less standing around with shoulders shrugged waiting to be told what to do.”

“Cluttered yet clean and impossibly stuffed with everything you might need for your home - that's Dollar Generals everywhere. The employees at this one have always been nice & helpful to me and everyone else I've seen ask for help. And by paying attention to the sales or closeouts you can score some pretty good bargains.”
“Free wifi that reaches the parking lot and something delicious for lunch. I took a couple of work meetings from a shady spot in the parking area and then popped in to the store to see what I might have today. The store is quite large and the parking lot is large. Clean and tidy, with empty cart corrals and no loose trash. The interior of the store is well lit and well organized. Lots of associates rushing about or tending their work areas with no line at the checkout area. Walking through the deli, I picked out one of yesterday's rotisserie chickens that is now served cold and at half price. A full chicken for $4? You bet! Some cheese to go with it and now I have a keto-friendly lunch with leftovers for dinner. Kroger bought the Harris-Teeter chain a couple of years ago so my VIC number works and I earned a couple fuel points on today's purchase. [Review 17388 overall - 403 in Texas - 906 of 2022.]”
“This is a super clean store with friendly people on Highway 6 between Waco and Houston. I try to get my gas there whenever traveling as I value customer service and they definitely have it.”
