“My wife and I stopped into Ashley Furniture in Corpus Christi to look at mattresses and Carlos helped us out. I really can’t say enough good things about the experience.
From the beginning, Carlos was extremely helpful and informative without ever being pushy. He answered all of our questions, helped us get numbers together, explained the differences between the mattresses we were looking at, and most importantly, just let us take our time. At no point did it feel like he was trying to steer us toward a certain product or pressure us into buying something.
Toward the end, I mentioned that we’re actually moving to Fredericksburg soon and asked him if he worked on commission and whether he would still get credit if we ended up purchasing from an Ashley closer to where we’re moving. He told me he wouldn’t, but what really stood out to me was that absolutely nothing about the way he treated us changed after that. He knew there was a good chance we weren’t going to buy anything from his store, and he still gave us the same amount of time, attention, and help as he had from the moment we walked in.
That kind of customer service is getting harder to find. I really appreciated being able to shop and ask questions without feeling like I was constantly being sold something. Even knowing he might not make the sale, Carlos still made sure we were taken care of and had all the information we needed.
If you’re shopping at the Ashley Furniture in Corpus Christi, I’d definitely recommend asking for Carlos. He made the whole experience easy and comfortable, and we really appreciated the way he treated us.”
“Great furniture. We have bought living room furniture, dining room furniture, mattresses and even hook on bed rails for a twin bed I used as a child, they are the best. Stop by and go shopping, great prices, have bought furniture locally in the past but Empire Furniture for Less has better quality than others. Try them out. Special reach out to Jamie at the other store for being very helpful and directing us to the product we purchased, and thanks to our sales rep Andrew for helping us find and test the item on the showroom, make sure the item was in hand in the warehouse, purchase the item via snap, and even showed up at the warehouse to check on things when I picked it up. “Best small thrift shop in Corpus Christi. They check for quality, so you know what you're buying is worth the money. Prices are very reasonable, and the service is quite pleasant as well.
If you're a thrifter, this is the kind of story you love to go to again and again because it's always a positive experience. Even some of the medium-sized, cause based stores (like the Purple place) don't check out everything they're selling you and they don't give refunds!
Bonus, American thrift is located right next door to the Fruit King!!!

“We had gone into Ashley before and were disappointed and underwhelmed. Dave at Rooms To Go was a breath of fresh air! Not only was he knowledgeable about product, he was not at all pushy, and he was pretty fun to be around for the hour we shopped. We got a killer deal on this entire living room suit. It is just my style and was sitting in my home within 48 hours. Dave helped with interest free financing and answered all of our questions! In a few months I'll be back to see Dave and to upgrade our bedrooms! A+ service, great experience! 10/10 would recommend. Ask for Dave!”
