“I stayed here for a quiet night and it was nice. The rooms are nice and clean. The service was great. They have breakfast in the morning. Tv is okay, wish they had Netflix or some streaming, but they do have lots of channels.
It's in a good location, near the mall. I bad no complaints. Check-in was quick and easy. There was parking. I was alone and didn't feel uneasy, not outside or in.”
“Nice place to relax and it is 95.00 for the whole night or u can pay hourly. It has a kitchen and microwave and refrigerator to store food. You will have to bring your pots and pans. Also have a kitchen sink.”
“Clean, new, and it doesn't smell bad!
I guess it is one of the few Staybridge in Texas that is worth paying for.
I was welcomed very well, and the woman at the reception ( 3pm on Saturday, January 5th) was really nice and kind.
Close to a lot of restaurants and shops, it is also next to the hospital.
Ideal for long and short staying, gymn and laundry room are free for the guests, the rooms are bright and spacious, comfortable bed and pillows, a mini kitchen complete with all the kitchenwares, a normal size fridge, a small stove and a dishwasher.
Monday to Wednesday, they have social evenings with free food and drinks, so you can skip going out.”

“I stayed at 2 different locations. The first location(13125 FM 1960) I would not recommend. Carpet was nasty, dresser broken, stove didn't work and the front desk clerk was rude and dismissive. However, the second location(9155 Hwy 6 N) was nice. The floors were clean and furniture intact. Everything was functional. The front desk gentleman was very nice and funny. Very down to earth. Would stay there again.”

“Manager was very nice and helpful. My room had a faint smell of cigarette smoke from the previous guest and the manager offered to walk around with me and let me pick which room I wanted. Not only that but he immediately left to the store and bought me plug in air fresheners so my room would smell more then just average. Exceptional service and very personable experience! Very clean facility, welcome staff, they go above and beyond for your comfort, These guys take great pride in their work!”

“Super nice room. Clean and well maintained. Good breakfast featuring eggs and biscuits. I couldn't find any syrup though... strange. Pool is very small and feels very exposed. Overall recommended.”

“I was very pleased with the service offered at this location. I recently took a trip to see one of my best friends from college and just returned home today. The accomodations were good and had affordable pricing. I did use Expedia for a better deal. It came with free parking, Continental breakfast, and free WiFi. The breakfast was a little different each day but you can make your own Texas shaped waffle in their waffle iron. Usually had cereal, toast, and eggs, sausage, or pancakes with a juice dispenser and tea/coffee. I had an excellent King Size bed and there was a small exercise area that really just had treadmills available. Unsure if the dumbbells were just stored away or if they put them up. Pool was closed since it is fall now. Hotel is near a few fast food restaurants to try but since it's in Houston, you are going to need a car to get to the fancier restaurants that meet your taste buds. Luckily it is right by the Sam Houston Tollway for easy interstate access. If you plan on staying longer than a few days and using a rental car, make sure it comes with EZ tag. If you're using your personal vehicle and don't have a tag then they will be mailing you an invoice soon from what I understand. And there are a plethora of tolling tag cameras between entry and exit ramps and no cash option, so beware. The only slight hiccup I had was my first night where the toilet lever was so rusted that it broke when I went to flush but, it was an immediate fix the next morning as the front desk staff put in the maintenance order as soon as I told them about it. So all in all I would stay here again and if you're really looking for something with accommodating staff, relaxing, and won't break the bank, then this is designed to fit your needs. The place is also non-smoking in its entirety, had about three floors with the ice machine on the third floor, good elevator access, and the rooms come with a fridge, microwave, ice bucket, coffee pot, soap and shampoo, electric hair dryer, 3 lamps, alarm clock, sofa, A/C, tv with direct TV for cable, iron and ironing board, clothing closet, telephone with night stands, and a main dresser. For those who have kids, it should accommodate them as well. They had a baseball team at around junior highschool level so it should just be a nice area to relax and recuperate.”
“Needed a room in a pinch. Went through an online booking site that wound up being a nightmare but Anna at the front desk offerered the most professional service and got us up to our room while she dealt with the online issue for us. Above and beyond service plus the rooms are very nice and comfortable. Breakfast is actually worth waking up for.
Thanks to these guys we decided to stay another night at their regular rate which still isnt bad compared to the overpriced hotels in the area. 6 star”
“I just wrapped up a week long stay here, so it's time to give my thoughts. I'll try to keep it fairly short and concise.
The good: The staff were all excellent. Everybody I interacted with was very friendly. The breakfast was good, but nothing to write home about. It was pretty much what you'd expect for a hotel breakfast. The bed was somewhat comfortable, but I'm an edge case. I get lower back pain on soft beds and found the couch to be more comfortable some nights. They have the usual proprietary TV box garbage, but because of the way the TV is mounted, it's extremely easy to unplug the HDMI cable and hook up your own entertainment. There's LOTS of outlets to plug in your devices, so you don't ever feel like you need a power strip to charge all of your devices. The room was definitely laid out with modern travelers in mind.
The bad: During hotter months (I'm writing this in late June) the hallways on floors 2-4 are HOT. Depending on the time of day the hallways will actually be hotter than it is outside. Most of the time they were around 85 degrees. The kitchen faucet in my room only got up to luke warm. Apparently that should not have been the case so maybe the next time I'm there that won't be a problem. The electric stove is basically what you'd find in a small RV. It takes forever to boil water (10 minutes for 2 packs of ramen, 25 minutes for a large pot of spaghetti). I was told that this is due to various regulations, but I've stayed at other Marriott family hotels in the Houston area where the stove had considerably more power.
The weird...: This is more of a nitpick and doesn't factor into my rating. Who the heck thought a shower with no door was a good idea? Instead there's a glass panel that covers about ⅔ of it with a wide opening on the far end. Made for a nice, wet, SLIPPERY floor right in front of the shower. Also, the shower knob is on the end where you get in, instead of under the shower head. I think that's a great idea myself as you don't get sprayed with cold water while turning on the shower, but a couple people I mentioned it to thought it was weirder than the shower being partially open.
Would I stay here again? Definitely. There's not a whole lot to do in the area, but that's fine with me as my vacations are to get away from everyone and have some time to myself.”

“This is one of my go to hotels when traveling to Houston for business. Clean rooms adequately stocked with a small kitchen and full size refrigerator stove and microwave. Gym could use some work, tvs don’t work and one treadmill is down. Everything here is really good though including free dinner Monday thru Wednesday for their social gatherings.”

“The rooms are very nice. Lost of space. Not many plugs. The TV is lacking in the technology department. The maid service needs some help as my room didn't have the required cleaning or bathroom necessities, and the room wasn't vacuumed. The key cards kept being deactivated over my 4 night stay i had to get them re done 3 times. The one up said is the free breakfast and social hour.”

“I stayed here for a women’s conference 9/18/24 - 9/21/24 and the location was 6 minutes from the conference. The front desk lady, I think her name is Dawn, was such a blessing and made me feel right at home when I checked in. This experience was great and the price was very affordable. Clean room, fresh towels everyday and a peaceful and quiet atmosphere- I barely heard people or cars around me.”

“I gave 4 stars because there were a few small issues. Nothing major nor was it something they could control. Ppl are destructive. To ME, The service was great. Carlos at my check in was a delight. House keeper Maria was nice and helpful. One Guy(didn’t catch his name) at the front desk pulled a triple shift. I stayed 5 days and saw him for 3-4 shifts in a row. They were really nice even though they had a few hang ups… they worked with what they had. Bartender was the highlight of my trip. Aside from him having charisma and being easy on the eyes, I watched him navigating through underhanded slick boarder line racist remarks from guest with ease?? drunk tongues is what he took it as but we all know they speak sober minds. ?.hats off to that young brother. Overall my stay was lovely. I enjoy myself. And would return.”
