“Ms. Nicky G deserves a raise. I rolled in late tonight to pick up some tees and although it was closing time her customer service was amazing. Even though I spaced out while checking out she handled it very well and I’m pretty sure we shared a moment. A+ service.”

However, the poor communication and lack of respect for customers and their journey make the manager, Jas, highly disrespectful and ruin the experience. Her body language does not display appropriate behavior, and her voice tone is aggressive. I do not appreciate the journey when she is present. She fails to sell what is needed and fails to demonstrate what is desired. Therefore, I give her zero stars. Everyone else communicates effectively and with passion. As a manager, Jas, your customer service is subpar. I will not spend money while you are there. You are unprofessional and lack excellent customer service etiquette.”

“I’ve been to this Dick’s Sporting Goods location many times, but this was hands down the best customer service experience I’ve ever had here. Connor went above and beyond helping my daughter find the right running shoes for her upcoming race — the 2025 Santa Hustle 5K in Galveston, Texas.

He took the time to listen, explain different options, and make sure the shoes truly fit and felt right for her, not just trying to make a quick sale. He was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about getting her set up correctly for race day.

It made a huge difference and completely changed my experience at this store. If you’re coming in for shoes, ask for Connor — he sets the standard for what customer service should be. We’ll definitely be back because of him.”

“I think this is an extremely nice location and it always smells so amazing. The employees are actively engaging with customers on the floor and offer assistance if they see the opportunity. The lines can get long, but they stay on top of trying to keep up a good pace. I’ve had to process returns here as well as completing purchases and have never had any issues. Thank you.”
