“Savings are off the hook! We added up the prices we would've paid at most grocery stores. We would've easily paid double for what we purchased. Store is clean and staff are so pleasant. And by the way WinCo people...it would be great if you could expand to Longview/Tyler area. You wouldn't have any competition. We would all be appreciative for great prices. We traveled 2+ hours to get there.

“I freaking love Aldi. It's so much less stressful than traditional grocery stores. They have exactly what I need and at the best prices. My bill is usually $50 lower than what I'd spend at other stores. The quality is good, too. I've never bought an Aldi brand food that wasn't as good or better than the name brand version.”

“They have every asian spice, veggies, condiments, meats your looking for. They have a variety of noodles and rice. I was able to find star anise and cinnamon in bulk here. It's gets pretty busy, I came on Sunday and the store was pretty crowded. Parking was difficult so if you don't mind circling or parking farther out. The store is well organized and lots of employees restocking and cleaning. Overall a great shopping experience.”

“Stopped by this place the other day and was honestly surprised by how much they had. The drink selection is really solid a lot more options than I expected, so it was easy to find something I was actually in the mood for.
Same with the snacks too. They’ve got a bunch of different chips and random stuff you don’t always see at other spots, which I liked. It’s one of those places you can pop into real quick and still walk out with exactly what you wanted (and probably a couple extra things). Definitely a convenient spot, I’ll be going back.”

“Today I visited Miguelito’s for the street tacos and am super impressed. Minus a little difficulty in communication (language barrier … my Spanish is very basic), the staff was helpful and very friendly. I ordered three different types of corn tacos; chicken, barbacoa and carnitas. The chicken and barbacoa were delicious, the carnitas was a little dry. Portion sizes are generous and include the typical accompaniments of chopped cilantro, onion and salsa, but also included chopped radish. Prices are very affordable.”

“Never ever ever heard of this place before. My cousin's friend suggested this place because she can't get out. So since she knew I was going out. She asked me to pick up a piece of cake for her. Specifically she said chocolate cake. . I was like ok . I just happened to be driving back from where I went and BOOM I SAW IT. I WAS sooo happy. I went inside and just wanted to be quick. NOT CRAZY EXPENSIVE. GOT A FEW EXTRA CANDIES AND WENT TO GO PAY. I DIDNT HAVE THEIR DISCOUNT CARD SO THE YOUNG MAN AT REGISTER LET ME USE HIS, WHICH GAVE ME A FISCOUNT FOR THE STORE. . “The nurse who waited on me was excellent, professional, and pleasant. Her name is Estelle. The first nurse that has actually made me feel comfortable. Every time blood is drawn, I am squeezing my stomach with my hands and looking away. I went in there, on this week, and was able to breathe will she inserted the needle. I can't believe it. I don't know if she will see this or not. But thank Estelle @ the Firewheel, location in Garland, Texas. Keep up the excellent work.”

“Small family owned, 1/2 grocery, 1/2 eating area, very clean inside. Overall the food was good, the lady went to the back to make it once I placed my order. They do accept credit card here. I think I will be back to get more of the injera bread. I wish they label the price on the items better so we don't have to ask how much each item is.”

“Carnitas are pretty good, but it's also the place if you're looking for stuff like costilla, buche, tripa, and such. You can order this in the butcher area. They also have some "fresh" (?) tortillas in a cooler, if you like them sweaty and falling apart like every other bad tortilla in the US. Salsas are mild but savory and they give you plenty of them so there's that. Overall the store is clean but busy. Finally, they got rid of the crazies yelling religious stuff at you early in the morning. Five stars for that small courtesy ??”

“I discovered E&S Grocery and Bakery from this moon cake box. I am a careful shopper. I'm buying moon cakes to share with my coworkers. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, we no longer work at a same location. So, I need to ship the freshest moon cake possible. The only way to ensure freshness is to try locally produced moon cakes. Strangely enough, I couldn't find a single bakery in Houston Chinatown that have same shippable packaging. I'm really not interested to buy moon cakes from Hong Kong or China. Simply because they contain preservatives for its traveling time and ingredients quality. Among all moon cakes I've tried this year (phew, I sampled so many last week), E&S Grocery and Bakery is the best in test, quality and affordability. I bought a box of 4 for $22 at Viet Hoa Supermarket. All moon cakes have a tiny sticker on the package to describe the flavor. The complete ingredients are on the bottom of the box. Surprised me with a huge egg yolk in them. One of these days, I'm gonna visit E&S Grocery and Bakery in Garland Texas 75042 to try other yummy pastries.”

“I was in the area and spotted this Indian grocery store ? in the Garland/Mesquite area. So I decided to go in and check it out!
The prices?seemed very reasonable, despite being a store on the smaller side compared to those in Irving and Richardson... The store could use better lighting inside, but at least I found a couple of items we needed in our kitchen.
It has a small section in the back of the store to order cooked food ? and also saw some Indian pastries ? at the front counter, kept warm under a bulb ?.
Lastly, I must mention that I was greeted in a friendly manner by the employee working at the front counter.
We will be back certainly. ✊?”
