“I visited Island Spice Groceries and More for the first time today and had a great experience. The store was clean, well-organized, and stocked with so many traditional Jamaican staples that can be hard to find. Moving to Texas from the Northeast/East Coast has definitely been a challenge when it comes to finding authentic Jamaican ingredients, so discovering this store was such a relief.
The person working there was very warm and welcoming, which immediately made me feel comfortable. I was also helped by another customer while shopping, I didn’t catch her name, but she was incredibly kind and offered helpful suggestions as I picked out items. That sense of community really stood out to me.
I’m so glad I found this store and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Jamaican and Caribbean groceries.”

“I love that they have handicap parking right in front of the store. I am almost always able to find a convenient parking spot.
I was greeted by an employee as soon as I rolled in with four empty 1 gallon water bottles. She noted that I was using a manual wheelchair and asked if would like to use their electric shopping cart to manage my bottles more easily. I was up for a challenge and wanted to see if I could do it on my own, so I told her I thought I could handle it and that I would come back for help if needed. She kindly left me to fill the bottles. I really appreciated the combination of the offer to help, followed up by immediate acceptance of and respect for my right to autonomy!
I generally only come here for water, but I love the vibe of the store and the variety of products available. They have types of dairy-free cheese that I can't find anywhere else locally, and their produce is always beautiful and delicious.”

“A little pricey but I’m sure it’s from import tax, so happy to see things in Colombia here in Dallas, TX!! I was able to send boxes to my cousin in Bogota and the worker who helped me was very friendly and even sorted my things for me! I would recommend sending packages here because they have competitive cargo prices!”

“I have been enamored with the Addison Sprouts since they opened. The staff is great. Holly was the cashier on Friday afternoon she is always courteous, makes us aware of upcoming events. She is awesome! Ditto for Veronica who hands out samples as well as cashiering. Excellent meat, deli and produce departments. It says a lot about how a store is run when they maintain staff many of the staff have been there since it opened.”
“Love this store, I usually shop early before the afternoon/evening rush. The store is always clean and things are organized, I find some great deals. I’ve had interactions with several employees, the cashier Brissa is always nice, very polite and helps me find anything I can’t. Mario the manager is always very helpful as well, he goes over and beyond when it comes to making sure I find or check other stores for items. Overall very satisfied. I do wish some of their Special Buy items lasted longer.”

“As a business owner this is the only place in the Metroplex I can find raw turkey legs. My establishment doesn't sell pre smoked Turkey Legs. So I'm periodically here to pick them up. Everyone here has amazing energy and great customer service. With the exception of one of the younger women that wrk at the checkout counter. I don't know her name but she's always really rude to my wife and I. I dread seeing her anytime we come because of her rudeness. Other than that I love this place.”
“Dons is one of those neighborhood corner stores that are near nonexistent anymore. The staff is always polite and do their best to accommodate wants and needs. It’s one of my favorite corner stores in the DFW Metroplex”

“My first impression was a little hectic. It was full and the Best Buy fruit section but again that’s nobody can really control that vegetable fruits. Most of the time are really good prices. Everything else is I guess here and there you gotta figure out what works for you what exactly is needed but overall they have plenty of people working there. That’s a good thing. There’s always somebody to ask a question too so for that reason, I’m giving a five star review just because of all the extra people they have there that’s awesome.”

I was born to this world at a very young age, screaming and crying, with nothing more than skin on my back, blinded by the light of this world yet the aroma of there flour tortillas showed me the beauty of a thousand stars. How can I ever taste any other flour tortilla without being, loomed by the hollowness of the dark. For it is I who yearns for the beauty of their flour tortillas, there al pastor is also pretty good.”
“Didn’t know what to expect since it is located in S.Dallas but it’s a small little store with lots of variety from household essentials to food. The Prices are affordable something you expect high at Walmart half the price there—or so my lotion was $3 as opposed to $9.”

“Their flour tortillas are so yummy, the ones from Columbia Avenue are a little better tho I havent been there a while since these are very good as well and much closer to me. If you get them, get the ones on the right, theyre more recent, and very warm. The also sell things that are usually in your pantry, not much variety since its a small market, and they also sell mexican medicines!!”
