“Ms. Taylor (I believe she’s the pharmacist there) was simply lovely, friendly and most importantly, a life saver with the RX I needed filled, but it is under a shortage everywhere in the country! After calling so many pharmacies, she was the kindest compared to the many I’ve talked with this month. I understand shortages aren’t anyone’s fault, but there are a few times I’ve encountered bad customer service, let alone, lack of empathy and kindness during an already frustrating event such as this. “H-E-B Pharmacy on University Ave is the rare pharmacy where you go in expecting a routine errand and leave thinking, that was surprisingly pleasant. The staff are friendly, efficient, and actually take the time to answer questions without making you feel like you are holding up a production line. It is one of those places that makes adult life a little easier, where you can pick up what you need, maybe grab a few groceries, and feel like you accomplished something responsible for the day!”

“I wanted to share how wonderful our experience was during my son’s physical. The nurse practitioner, Monica, was incredibly kind, patient, and informative throughout the entire visit.
My son has always been very afraid of vaccines, and she handled his fears with so much empathy and understanding. She took the time to explain everything, answer his questions, and help him feel comfortable rather than rushed or dismissed. Her calm and reassuring approach made a huge difference and helped turn what is usually a stressful experience into a positive one.
She was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely compassionate. We left feeling well-informed and cared for. I am very grateful for the excellent care she provided and would highly recommend her to other families.”

“They’ve helped us find a possible way to get my medication that’s $411. They said that there’s a way to get Medicare to help with it. They have a program that we’re going to check out very thankful that they did this cause Medicare will not pay for a medication that I have I have another one for $1100 that Medicare won’t pay for. I’m on a budget in need all the help I can get!”
