“😊 Great experience at this Harbor Freight! For some reason, my GPS routed me to this location even though it’s about 20 minutes farther than the Harbor Freight closest to me, but I’m glad it did. The customer service here was excellent! I worked with Mike, who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I ended up signing up for an Inside Track Club membership again. This is my second time having a membership with Harbor Freight, and with the amount of great inventory and deals they offer, I decided it was worth joining again. I’ve been shopping at Harbor Freight for about 10 years, and aside from the excellent customer service I’ve experienced at some locations in Virginia, this was easily one of my best experiences. I’ve visited several Harbor Freight locations in Texas, and unfortunately, the customer service hasn’t always been great. This location was completely different. The store was clean, organized, and well-stocked. The employees were friendly, the product knowledge was excellent, and I received plenty of help without ever feeling pressured. Mike definitely helped make this a five-star experience. I’ll gladly drive past the Harbor Freight closest to me and come back to this location instead. Another bonus is that it’s conveniently located near plenty of other stores, so you can knock out several errands while you’re in the area. Great store, great inventory, and outstanding customer service. Definitely a great find. I’ll be back!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Leroy, the manager at the Benjamin Moore near Meyerland Plaza. I’ve been coming to this location for a while, and I’ve seen it during times when the customer service was not great, employees seemed unhappy, and the store was incredibly short-staffed. Through all of that, Leroy is honestly the reason I kept coming back. He is consistently professional, kind, patient, and genuinely interested in helping his customers. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and cares about making sure people leave happy with what they need. Even when the store has been busy or understaffed, he has always treated me with the same level of attention and respect. I’ve also noticed a real improvement in the store recently, since Leroy took over, and it seems like Leroy has finally gotten some good help. Chris was there today and was also incredibly nice and helpful. And of course, the Benjamin Moore products themselves are excellent. Their color-matching has been amazing! They have perfectly matched several of my Farrow & Ball colors, which has made a huge difference during our home renovation. But more than anything, this review is for Leroy. Great products can bring someone into a store, but people like him are what keep customers coming back. Benjamin Moore is very lucky to have him.”

“I recently had my house painted and then I added a front porch. The addition created unpainted siding. I went to my local store to get more paint, I knew the color but not the sheen. The employee Amber was able to look up my contractors name, search for my job by name and give me the EXACT same paint that was used. I didn’t even know that was possible but it saved me from buying the wrong paint. I’m very grateful and I would recommend this store to the DIY’ers because the contractors know what they’re doing but they’re helpful when you don’t know!”

He really knows his paints, and went to great lengths in both of my circumstances to help me find just the right matching paint for the touchups. When I was there today, I knew that the paint ID sticker on my car was wrong, but I did not know what the right paint code was. In fact, the correct paint code appears to be a completely different source than the auto manufacturer! Josh has an excellent eye for matching paints, and despite all odds, he found the exact match. The store is pretty utilitarian, dedicated to Automotive exterior finishes, and geared towards the professional painter. They know their business and if you looking for something like a quart of Ford color code FU, Mustang Dark Green Satin metallic this is a place to go.”

If they don't have what I need, they will find it, and usually have it for me by the next day. Other paint stores in Houston area leave a lot yet to desire.
