We ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, Taiwan Ramen, and Fried Chicken. I especially loved the flavoring of the Taiwan Ramen soup--it was so savory and unique. This is easily some of the most authentic Japanese food in Irving!

8704 Cypress Waters Blvd #120, IrvingFolks, do not walk...RUN to Politano's in Irving, this mom-n-pop Italian, run by two actual Italian brothers, is Fantastic with a capital F. It is $12-$16 per entree, and better than Italian you've paid $40-$50 per entree for at much fancier places. Scout's honor. Complimentary garlic knots, and when you taste the accompanying red sauce that's your first indicator this is not an average Italian restaurant. Had a house salad with Ranch. This was the only 'standard' item of the meal. Entree, had the Creamy Mushroom Tortellini with Veggies ($3.25 addition, charred broccoli, tomatoes, extra mushrooms). You can get Alfredo or a creamy tomato sauce. I asked the owner's recommendation, he said creamy tomato, I went with that. Oh sweet mama.... C-H-E-F-S K-I-S-S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Could not fathom it would be a top tier of all time Italian dish. Totally not expecting, and totally blown out of the water. So much so, I told a buddy who lives 3 hours from Dallas, he & his kids could make a Saturday road trip just to eat a meal here & it would be worth it... I'm visiting from out of state (lived in DFW ten yrs prior), this was a fantastic surprise on the visit. If I'm back in DFW at any point, this will be on the extremely short list while visiting.

A few seats seems like every grabs and goes the employees are super friendly. Looked at the menu and the sandwich looked good almost went with spicy Italian but settled on the Philly cheese steak sandwich Every meat appeared to be boars head. I saw them shaving the meats on the meat slicer. Got my sandwich pretty quickly. The sandwich tasted real good and was super hot!. Philly cheese 6 outa 10. It was good but small. I would def come back to try the other sandwichs

Located inside Irving Bible Church, 2435 Kinwest Pkwy, IrvingThis is a great coffee shop. To be honest I had a weird experience here the other day. I got 2 lattes that were way too sweet for me, like 100g of sugar per latte sweet. I really hate being the person to return coffees but I did and asked if I could get them re done half sweet. It was perfect afterwards, but I was charged both times, so a total of like $30 for two lattes. I definitely can’t say anyone was in the wrong here, but as it’s already awkward to ask for a remake, I was hoping they would understand and not charge me. Besides that, the coffee, ambience, ownership is elite for this place. Just knocked off the one star for the one off experience. I probably should have mentioned I didn’t want to pay for the remake, but I didn’t want to look like a total jerk.

Love the salsa, kids loved the beans and rice and waffle. Everything was delicious! Our waiter Javier was so attentive and personable and running alot of tables too! My parents recommended the place and I'm so glad we went in!!

As far as the coffee, the Spanish latte was fantastic but I just cannot justify paying over $7 for a 12 oz. Cup of coffee. I’ve noticed this trend in recent years with middle eastern coffee shops where such pricing is common. I get it, youre Palestinian, I support the cause and would love to give you more of my business but this just feels like highway robbery at this point. Nonetheless, great cup of coffee.

4140 Valley View Ln, IrvingI've volunteered at this shelter a couple of times. and it it's anyone I trust with animals it's definitely going to be this shelter. I adore the staff so much. The woman with the black hair in the front, Katie if she comes off a certain way it's because she protecting the animals as you woul do the same. This facility is very clean and 100% trusted. The cats and dogs are under the best care and need a lot of it so some patience when handling an adoption would be greatly appreciated :) xx
