“The VFW was a fantastic and affordable venue to host our family event, Sweet 16. The auditorium comfortably held 150 people with a stage for the DJ and enough space for food buffets and dancing. We very much appreciated their accommodations!”
“I absolutely love going to karaoke here on Mondays and Thursdays! Brin is awesome at what he does and we get a wonderful crowd out! The food is great and they have Happy Hour pricing on appetizers and drinks all day on Mondays.”

“Excellent service! Shoutout to Dallas and Francisco. I had a meeting in the area and the both of them graciously valeted my classic car safely and kept good care of it, which is always a worry downtown. Dallas was especially helpful when picking the car up, and I could immediately tell he had passion for what he does. Should I be in the area I will be back again for sure.”
“This location is perfect and close to everything - it also has the restaurant, coffee shop, and rooftop bar so everything is accessible.
We also loved taking out the bikes and riding all around the lake thanks to Juan’s suggestion (who happen to be super informative, helpful and generous).

“I didn’t stay at the Westin, but I did go to the cocktail lounge inside. On our way out, the gentleman working valet accompanied us to our uber and double checked the drive and license plate for us. I was with two other women. It was such a small, but comforting gesture that we all acknowledged amongst ourselves and very much appreciated!! It was on 02/07 around 9:45! Want to make sure this gentleman gets his recognition!!”
“Captain Alec was awesome, and we had a great time on the water. We even saw some bats in early December, which was rare. He was determined to ensure we saw them, and as my first boat tour here since I moved to Austin a year ago, I really enjoy this ride!”

“I recently went to the AT&T Conference Center. Let me tell you about the valet gentlemen Aaron and Tyrese. They not only were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. This was in rainy, icy cold weather and they had smiles on their face the entire time. They were very nice and respectful.”

After an issue with the AC in one room, the lady at front desk immediately came up and upgraded us to an even better room straight away. “Hands down best mini golf near us! - live in San Marcos. Great spot, well shaded, very nice staff, I’m a military veteran and I love history so I definitely loved the finishing touches they gave the course. They also have a playground, food truck and mini disc golf course on the property too! Very fun for the whole family. You can easily spend a full day here. I’m even going to host my birthday here!”

“From the moment I started looking for a wedding venue in December 2023, I knew I wanted something truly special. When I came across The Vineyards at Chapel Lodge, I felt an immediate connection. The venue was everything I envisioned, and my heart and mind were set. I booked it in February 2024 for our wedding in April 2025, and it turned out to be the best decision ever.
Jaycie was a big part of that decision. From our very first tour, she was incredibly kind, excited, and so much fun to work with. She even gave us a sweet champagne tour that made us feel right at home. Our experience at the venue was absolutely perfect, and it looked stunning from every angle.
Not only was The Vineyards an incredible location, but Jaycie also connected me with Fran, the most exceptional wedding planner I could have asked for. Thanks to Jaycie and the venue, I then met my videographer, DJ, and bartenders—the best group of people who made our day even more magical.
On the day and night of our wedding, the venue was nothing short of breathtaking. The flowers were in full bloom, the fields were covered in vibrant colors, and the lake looked like glass. The sunset was straight out of a dream. Jaycie was there every step of the way, checking in and making sure everything was running smoothly, and I couldn't have asked for a better support system.
The lodging was equally impressive—our cabin and bedrooms were to die for. They were so comfortable, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. I honestly felt like a true princess during our stay.

“Had a great experience at Common Desk on 6th & Congress yesterday and wanted to share. The space is clean and thoughtfully designed with lots of alternative spaces to keep you from feeling like you're on top of others and has heaps of natural light to keep you focused. They have second monitors for those of us who need them, are dog-friendly, and have welcoming staff at the front desk/making coffee. Will definitely be back!”

“There’s something about being at Boggy Creek Farm that resets you a little. You see real food grown with care by Texas farmers. You can see it, you can taste it, and you feel good bringing it home. It’s such a good reminder to be mindful about what we’re putting into our bodies and where it’s coming from, and that food is meant to truly nourish us, not come with a science-experiment ingredient list.
Pro tip… arrive early. Their products are amazing and they will sell out. The good stuff goes fast for a reason.

It feels good knowing where our food comes from and who we’re supporting. “I really love this studio! The teachers are great and you can watch your children on TV in the waiting areas. The front desk is SUPER helpful and always go out of their way to make scheduling easy. “Wonderful Venue and Team! My husband and I got married at The Hummingbird House in November of 2023. Our wedding was everything we could have ever hoped for! We toured the place with the owner Danny and he was so kind and personable. When we booked the venue we got their planning package and I cannot recommend it enough. We feel so lucky to have had Kelsey help us plan our wedding! She was incredible! I had attended very few weddings and felt very intimidated by planning one myslef. She answered all our questions and gave great suggestions. Kelsey was also super sweet! I was sad to say good bye to her at the end of our wedding! I really cannot imagine our day with her help. My husband and I felt that Kelsey and Danny both truly cared we had a memorable wedding day and were happy for us. On our actual wedding day it rained all day. Kelsey was so sweet and worked so hard to help keep the plan that we had agreed on. Thankfully it stopped raining right before we went to plan B! Our wedding was beautiful and we will always cherish it. I cannot thank the Hummingbird House enough for helping us have a beautiful start to our marriage!”
