The beds are comfortable, the staff are amazing, the restaurant is top notch and then it’s steps away to your MD Anderson appointments. It’s the best and I never want to have to stay anywhere else.”
“My experience at The Post Oak Hotel was unforgettable. The venue itself is absolutely stunning - elegant, meticulously maintained, and visually luxurious. It’s easy to see why it’s one of Houston’s most sought-after locations for upscale events.
From a logistics perspective, the space was well-organized and accommodating. Security and on-site staff were professional and attentive, and the clientele was upscale and respectful.

“Great hotel with central location in SW Houston right on I-610, with free breakfast for all guests, closed multi-story parking and full-sized bar at the lobby area, alongside a reasonable market for quick bites & drinks. Walking distance to Galleria Mall, as well as nearby shops like CVS, Marshall’s & target.
Reception staff is efficient however couldn’t say the same about bar staff.”
“A quietly luxurious and stylish stay that exceeded all of my high expectations. All of the details were spot on, like their attention to detail with lighting, furniture, color, and landscaping. The products that were provided were superb, the staff were incredible and the food at Perseid was as good as it gets.
I can’t think of a better value than this hotel anywhere. You get to experience curated spaces, high architecture, comfortable rooms, and you can walk to one of the best art museums in the country next door.”

“I would describe this hotel as a true hidden gem. From the moment my sister and I stepped into the Aspen Grand Hotel, our experience was nothing short of delightful. The front desk staff—every single one of them—were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. Each time we returned from a long day of work, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine hello, which truly made us feel at home.
In addition to the outstanding customer service, the room was exceptionally clean and beautifully designed. The hotel also offers a hot breakfast with a wide variety of options, which was a wonderful bonus.
If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway away from the noise, the Aspen Grand Hotel is the perfect place. The pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the level of service and the artistic beauty of the rooms. Honestly, the experience felt like it was worth much more.
I will definitely be returning. Don’t overlook this hidden gem—it is absolutely worth the stay.”

Every drink or meal I had in the hotel was good too. My only issue was when the power went out and we had to take our luggage down the stairs!”

“My rating is based on the experience I had with the staff. It was simply outstanding and rare to encounter staff that care and are warm these days. From the check-in offering to take my room service order to the unexpected call in my room asking if my son might be more comfortable with a roll away bed it was just remarkable how they anticipated what would make the stat better and offered without being asked. Rare in deed. Then on departure we ate at the café and were treated by Elizabeth who really brightened our day. We'll done and please take care of this staff they care and should be commended!”

“Staying here for the second time. Last time me and my husband stayed during the Rodeo. Rooms are beautiful. We hosted a private dinner for my boutique collection in one of their event rooms. We really enjoyed our last stay. This one seemed not Hilton standard. Phone’s didn’t work. Cocktail at the bar tasted watered down. Overall a nice hotel but I wouldn’t recommend anymore after Hilton took over.”

“The hotel is beautiful and well kept. The decor is modern and gives a first class vibe. I enjoyed the availability and cleanliness of the fitness center and the 3rd floor hotel restaurant. I felt safe and secure in this hotel and i appreciate the security system connected to the entrances and the elevators. My only real critique is that the 4th floor roof top pool need furniture and decor upgrades and there is far too much room in the pool area for so much of the space to be empty and unused. There should be more atmosphere around the pool area. There are speakers everywhere around the pool area but no music, no sound at all. I really enjoyed this hotel and my executive king, corner room was perfectly decorated and smelled amazing. I loved the space and the separate sitting area. I will be back.”

“We had a great stay here during Christmas with kids. The rooms are spaciuous and well designed with all needed amenities. The staff is very cooperative, we had an issue with the TV and front desk quickly switched our room in no time. Will definitely stay here next time.”

“I rated their service high because I wasn't bothered, and nobody entered my room when we left to shop. I got a jacuzzi room, and I'd wished the tub was bigger. It's for like 2 skinny people or one large sized man. Still worked great. Some people who are from small towns or don't get out might think that it's a bad location but 5 stars for me because I found great eats, lock up the boys though because there are strip clubs around. Hotel clients seemed nice and normal. Breakfast had eggs and gravy, which are hard to find. If you lock your car and take normal precautions, I'm sure you will enjoy a stay to hang out near the Galleria”
“This is a very good hotel in a safe area of Houston! We paid $130 for one night. Parking was free! In other Houston hotels, parking is almost always paid. Here, however, the parking lot has cameras providing 24/7 video surveillance. In addition, they offer very good breakfasts with a wide selection. They charged us a $50 deposit.
I didn't give it 5 stars because the man at the reception didn't say anything about the Wi-Fi and only mentioned breakfast when I specifically asked him if it was included! There was a slight musty smell in the room. The walls were scuffed, there was only one roll of toilet paper, and only half of that was left! The room door had gaps, the lock at the top barely worked... and there were two black hairs on the bed linen... left by the cleaning staff, which was unpleasant.”
“Went to this hotel for a company meeting, lasted a few days, their internal restaurant is absolutely amazing! They served breakfast lunch and dinner for us! Loved everything I had!
Their service was outstanding, everyone was very polite and respectful.
Beautiful lobby and conference hall.
They had a nice bar with plenty of options, as well as an internal store you could find anything needed.
The guys in valet parking were also friendly and helped direct me a few times.

“We LOVED this hotel. Every single one of the staff members are so sweet, funny and just all around great people. The rooms were very clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable. I had a rather large package sent there and they gladly held onto it while we were out all day. They have a mini Starbucks. Free breakfast and parking. They were very accommodating that's for sure. 10/10”
