“I booked a room here at the Best Western in Sugar Land for a function the following day in Rosenberg. I'm really happy that the closer rooms were all booked because I think I came out the winner here! Upon arrival I checked in at the front desk and was greeted by one of the most friendly people at the front desk! Hey name was Toyah and she was probably the most outgoing person I've ever encountered upon check in anywhere!!! She was just as sweet and friendly as she could be and was very helpful and informative! She got my info, and gave me my room card and gave directions to the elevator. She also informed me that breakfast was served starting at 6:00am! I gathered my items and headed for the elevator to the 3rd floor. Upon entering, I found the room very spacious and well laid out! Two queen beds, although it was only me, I was able to lay all my things out on the other bed. There was a place to hang your clothes and also an iron if you needed one. The bath was spacious with a nice counter and a hair dryer on the wall close to the light switches. There was a room size refrigerator and freezer in the top for your food and drinks. There was a cabinet built around and over the refrigerator with a nice little Keurig Coffee maker and four Keurig coffee cups of Breakfast Blend for your use!!! I loved that part! If I had known about the Keurig I would have brought my own! The TV was located so as you could turn it toward either bed and had DirecTv with most channels! Since moving to East Texas I've always missed 13 Eyewitness News Weather and I was able to see the evening and morning news cast!! I loved it!! Beaumont stations for whatever reason don't have morning news on weekends and I really miss being able to watch the news in the morning on weekends. The beds were very nice with plenty of pillows! It was also very quiet here and I slept really great which is something I normally struggle with away from home. I didn't here!!! I woke up once or twice and had the feeling I had been asleep for a long time! It was nice to look at the time and realize I had three more hours of sleep, and sleep I did!! When I did get up, I was able to get my shower, get dressed and go down just in time for the breakfast area to start serving! They had a great selection to choose from, so I got just enough to get me by until lunch later! I went back up and got my things together and dropped my card in the box on the way out! I really enjoyed my stay here and will more than likely opt to stay here next time I'm in the area!”

“Beth and Mahogany were soooo accommodating! I had issues with my room charge. These girls just made it right. Gave me a bigger room, no charge. It was 11 pm at night when we got there and were really tired. They were friendly and looked like it was daytime:) Great job girls!!The standard 2 queen room was really, really big. It even had a several sitting area. Very clean too. The only thing is that I wish they would have a complimentary breakfast but not enough yo stop us from staying again!!”

“We arranged for a room block to accommodate family and friends joining us for our daughter's wedding. We stayed on the property as well. From start to finish, every detail was carefully tended to. Customer service was top notch, employees were kind, rooms were sparkling clean and breakfast was delicious. Thank you, Ruby, for being a wonderful GM and an effective leader. “Brand new (only four months now) hotel with awesome facilities - an outdoor pool, free laundry, fitness center, family room, outdoor BBQ. Rooms are nice and we'll equipped. My family stayed in a two bedroom suite and had our own kitchen. My only complaint would be that the water pressure is a little low in the showers so it takes longer to wash. Other than that, everything was awesome and I would recommend.”

“Stayed here a few months ago and vowed to never return due to roaches. Found myself being forced to book here again as everywhere else was sold out. Was pleasantly surprised to see that they finally have a staff now, when I came a few months ago there were only 2 or 3 people working there, they have a new manager who is extremely friendly and seemed to love what he does, and it looks like they finally got a hold of the roach problem. Didn't see a single bug in the two days I stayed. Happy to say I can come back! Front desk Coco and Jett were lovely. the manager Brandon was a big help, we struggled to get on the wifi but he told us to bring our computer downstairs and he was able to fix the problem in less than 2 minutes”

“A friend stayed 2 nights at this location recently. On the second morning, she was having trouble with her debit card and the issuing bank. The morning manager was very understanding and, thankfully, allowed her the extra time she needed until things were figured out. Many other hotel chains are not as understanding, and we were very grateful for the extraordinary hospitality.”

“We enjoyed our 3-night stay at the Comfort Suites. Some people complain that it is old and tired which is true - but what do people expect for the price. We found the rooms to be spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is basic but at least there is a breakfast! There’s a small gym, laundry, conference room and supplies. It’s also well located within Houston. Staff were super helpful we found. I would stay here again without hesitation.”

“This is the second time we have used this location for an event. From the sales office to the housekeeping staff, all our guest were treated well and their needs met. The food was delicious in the restaurant as well as for the event. The rooms are clean and everyone slept well on the wonderful mattresses. We like the service so well, our organization is thinking about scheduling a thrid event with this location in the spring.Rooms: The rooms are clean and comfortable. The mattresses are great. The shampoos and soaps are high end. There is even a magnified mirror with so-so lighting to apply make-up. That would be my only suggestion is to improve the lighting around the small mirror.Safety: The hotel is located in a nice part of Houston and very safe. I live in a town close by but know the area where the hotel is located and I'd have no problem walking around in the area.Walkability: The are other restaurants and shopping near by. To get to Houston attractions requires driving.Food & drinks: Everything is fresh and well presented. The food taste good.”

“Stayed about a week. Very quiet and staff very helpful and respectful. Joe made our stay very great. I didn't get the other night attendants name but they are all super helpful. Maintenance man very respectful and professional. Professional housekeepers. Breakfast is decent. Only thing is the ice machine upstairs doesn't work but other than that I'll be staying there Everytime. Great prices and even better customer service if you just communicate your needs.”

“Red carpet on hornwood drive is a perfect place to stay. The rooms are clean housekeeping are very polite. Front desk are very polite.. It's a very quiet community.. I have lived here for one year.. I really like it I give 5 star ?, more if I could . Everything is in walking distance, plus Metro, bus cross the street .. what more can u ask for ....Rooms: The rooms are very clean the bathrooms are clean and the bed you're very clean.... I'm a very clean person so those are the things that I look for... I would give a ten star this is worth staying at...”

“CAUTION! THEY RELEASED MY PREPAID ROOMS AND WE ARRIVED ON A RED EYE FLIGHT TO NO WHERE TO STAY WITH ALL SURROUNDING HOTELS FULLY BOOKED.Rooms were trashed. Stains on sheets. Hair on sinks. No hot water. Gum on sheets. Mold under table.I had 2 rooms paid and confirmed for weeks before arrival. They never called or emailed me to notify me that they oversold. I literally called when I was in my rental letting them know I was on the way, and they told me sorry I will need to call another hotel because they over booked. Why they gave someone both if our double rooms, I don't know??? I explained that is unacceptable. Here are photos of the rooms we ended up in due to their inconsideration. Nasty just nasty. They finally sent a cancellation email after I showed up for my reservation. Austin Gerdes is the Assistant general manager that gave away our rooms and he wouldn't return my calls. I felt bad for the poor lady on duty trying to clean up his mess. She gave him my number over the phone but he never call. How inconsiderate. This is a business trip and they started it off as a nightmare.Rooms trashed. Stains on sheets. Hair on sinks. No hot water. Gum on sheets. Mold under table.Rooms: CAUTION! “Rented the room 125 yesterday and this morning when I went to renew I encountered a 2 ton monster with the nastiest attitude to match. She refused to renew me claiming the room was rented. (Sure a room with a blatant hole in the floor that was patched up badly! Lol sure. So I have 2 hours remaining, I went to go to sleep and that's when Godzilla literally came banging on my door and said since my boyfriend wasn't there I needed to leave now. I have never been treated so poorly. She need to be fired for being unprofessional, rude and prejudice but most of all because she's so big and she cannot stand more than 2 minutes without taking a seat. She'll be immobile in 2 years. That is not someone capable of fully doing the job. 0 stars.”

“Literally the most horrible place I have ever been at. The room got no comforters, towels and not even a doormat. The property has signs saying no smoking but the front desk guys were smoking as soon as we entered the property. On the second night of our stay a random guy covered in tattoos knocked our door for 3 mins. But we didn’t respond and he opened the door. We locked the door for sure but he was able to open it. Fortunately we have the holder on which prevented him from entering in. We called the front desk but the guy kept on saying that he didn’t give the key to anyone and it wasn’t his fault. In the end, if some random guy is able to open your locked door then I don’t think this place is livable to anyone. When I was going in, I saw some random lady applying make up in the car at 9.30pm then entered the motel. Why would somebody apply make up before bed time? There is something terribly wrong with this place. We cancelled the reservation and now we need to see how many dollars we get back.”

“I had a long hard day stressful day me and my husband had got towed we was outside in the cold for hours we decided to check in at this hotel they have a awesome STAFF that are very kind this is the nicest hotel I booked at since I been in Houston Amazing!! “Very clean, some colorful paintings and walls that don't appear outdated in style, flooring delaminating though which is a bit sad. It's almost by the highway but hey it's convenient and I liked that they didn't ask me 700$+ of deposit because I use a debit card. If you're tired you should fall asleep I think. Maybe they fixed the dirtiness issue over the last few years. I say give it a shot! Grateful.”

“Cute modern little hotel. Personally I'm not a big fan of the ceramic floors for a hotel, rain + kids = mess. The room stayed surprisingly cool for this Houston heat. Was a little disappointed that ther was no coffee machine. Led light in the bathroom flickered, but other than that and the floors it is a nice place to stay room was really clean and smelled great!!.. staff is very friendly”

“Great experience. Long Family trip of 5 for a 9 days stay. Fantastic service and attention overall from front desk to breakfast team. My recommendations will be for housekeeping being more thorough on the days they clean and do something about low water pressure at any point of the day. Great new property, pretty clean common areas, pool looked great, same for Gym.Rooms: Room 312 was great size for family of 5.
