“The staff here is awesome and perfected the whole process of me going in and out of the store along with what my mother needed. I couldn't really find a review directly from the site that they have up on the internet but it's definitely a Five Star place. And yes, inside of the building was very neat including the outside. I do believe that the prices of what we bought is cheaper than if we would have went somewhere else to buy them. I would recommend Food Town to others looking into buying things at a discounted price while enjoying how organized everything is. This store has mainly produce and all other sources of food to cook with and it's being presented well with discounts.
One thing that they should come up with is their own customer survey on the receipts as per my pic, I do shop here constantly and I want the best for these kind hearted staff members of Food Town. For some reason they don't have the customer surveys but it isn't going to put my rating of five stars down for them.
(8/3 review different buy date) I have to admit, another wonderful experience which I had coming here just to buy some Energy drinks. They have a very large selection of all different kinds and again, I can't ask for anything to change with Food Town. It's like so satisfying coming in here to buy stuff plus I live close to this Food Town so it's accessible.”

“I am giving 5 stars b/c I went today & spent 77.87. I had to know so I looked every item up on Walmart’s website. The total at Walmart would have been 186.41,& I only paid 77.87. A savings of 108.54! In this day it really helps! My only complaint is the lady who waited on us. She was fast & accurate, but probably the most unpleasant person I have ever encountered.”

“Really neat place. Unique for us. Love the bangers. Love the pies. Biggest complaint is they are very, very expensive. Once in awhile treat! Always friendly folks there.”

“I’ve been a regular at this Dollar General for about 5 years, and overall I genuinely love this store. Most of the employees are amazing—I know many of them by name. The manager does a great job, and Diane is always kind, welcoming, and helpful.

However, I’ve had repeated negative experiences with one employee that have impacted my visits.

A couple of years ago, I was checking out on a Saturday and trying to reach the $25 total for the $5 off coupon. I asked if she could ring up one more item while I quickly grabbed it, since I knew it was in stock. She responded by raising her voice and saying, “I can’t do that,” in a very harsh and unprofessional tone.

This past Saturday (04/04/26), I had a similar experience. I simply asked if she could hit the total button, so I could confirm my coupons came off before adding more items. Before I could even finish speaking, she cut me off and again said she “can’t do that,” with the same tone of voice and totally unnecessary attitude

At this point, it’s not about policy—it’s about how Kelley treats customers. She does not listen and is unwilling to help, which creates a COMPLETELY different experience compared to the rest of the team.

I truly like this store and appreciate the majority of the staff, which is why I’m sharing this feedback. I hope Kelley gets an attitude adjustment and works on her approach to customers, as she often comes across so RUDE and unnecessarily negative. A refresher in basic customer service skills would make a HUGE difference.”

“Just wondering, are you a Baptist Bible Fellowship church? You appear to be. I graduated Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College. San Dimas, CA. 1985. I’m very much older now 70 yrs old. I’m not that social of a person now. I know good preaching, the eminent truth, when I hear it! AMEN!”

“As per Dollar General's business model there is practically one in everyone's neighborhood so hopping in and jumping right back out is easily doable any weekday on through the weekend. Convience is key with any social or family gathering. Most prep items, cutlery, condiments, drinks, or drinkware needed are a moment away & no one need forget ice. You will find most everyday items in the store for under $5 and it would shock me to ever see anything over $10 which makes monthly budgeting a breeze and holidays to die for! My only complaint is the staff interaction is usually limited to the register only & very few are either helpful answering questions nor do they seem pleasant. This criticism is actually based on at least 4 stores I regularly frequent, 2 others somewhat infrequent and 5 cities I have resided in throughout the years, being such a long period of time I thought I'd mention it perhaps the management may wish to give their staff new training options, you never know(sometimes a fresh outlook is a game changer)!!”

“KROGER STORES DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY DONATIONS FROM ANY DEPARTMENT!!! NON NEGOTIABLE!!!
CHARITIES AND ORGANIZATIONS ARE CONFIRMED THROUGH CORPORATE FOR DONATIONS!!! NON NEGOTIABLE!!!
STORES DO NOT DONATE TO PRIVATE COMPANIES OR ORGANIZATIONS OR PERSONS!!! DUE TO LIABILITY CONCERNS!!! NON NEGOTIABLE!!!
GIRL SCOUTS OF AMERICA AND THE SALVATION ARMY ARE THE ONLY TWO ORGANIZATIONS ALLOWED TO LEGALLY RECIEVE PAYMENTS ON KROGER STORES PATIO. ANY OTHER PERSONS SOLICITING ARE NOT CONFIRMED BY CORPORATE AND SHOULD BE REPORTED TO STORE MANAGEMENT IMMEDIATELY!!!
Some departments close before the store closes at 11 PM! A lot of customers might not be local these days, so if you googled this store this info might help!
Starbucks closes at 9 PM. Floral department closes at 8 PM. Bakery closes a bit earlier than 8 PM and so does Pharmacy and the Bank. Deli, Produce, Meat, Apparel and home/Gm usually close between the 9PM-10PM mark and so does dairy/grocery. The only ones left in the store at that time are managers and some cashiers/baggers. So if you want help, plan accordingly and show up to the store at a decent time. Stores close, employees have families too, no reason anyone should be out and getting balloons and a cake at 9:30 PM on a Thursday. Take care!”

“So happy to have found this pharmacy for my son and I after moving to this area but keeping my doctors back in Houston/Sugarland/Katy area. I used to work in pharmacy too so I understand they can get pretty busy too. I am very thankful I can call them and have my prescription be ready. I have already had positive experiences with multiple pharmacists— Ralph, Robert and Ashley; and multiple techs Aaron, Nathalie, Barbara.”
