“I've never been here before. I really don't feel right giving them a rating over this as my experience was expectedly unsatisfying. I got in a check from an insurance company over an accident that had happened quite a while ago for about $1, 000. It was in the mail when I got home Saturday night. I was looking for a place to get it taken care of on Sunday afternoon when I got around to it and the other places were closed. The ones I would typically go to like Ace Cash across the highway only offer prepaid cards these days, if I remember correctly from last time, which wasn't what I was looking for since there are mostly functionless. It would just take two to three days to transfer from that card to my bank account. Otherwise, I'd be stuck with it on that card and not get any rewards or anything that my bank offers and other accounts. I have set up with it. This isn't a little bit of money for me so I'd hate to miss out on those since I can use any dime I can get my hands on.
My buddy has mentioned that he gets this check cashed up here sometimes and lives just up Bender so it's convenient. I stopped in to see if they'd help me, what was told the check cashing is Monday through Friday only. There were no help at 7:00pm on Sunday. But neither was anyone else, So I have a difficult time blaming them for something I was skeptical of in the first place and therefore I'm just letting you know what happened and not leaving a rating. I took it to my bank in the morning which has been wonderful, especially as of lately when my income hasn't been what it was and they really helped me out the other day when I was in need. It's probably for the best.
I had some things I was behind on, though, and thought I would sleep better Sunday night if I was able to pay on a couple of them before I laid down. I don't know about that, but I know I predicted correctly that I slept poorly. That's pretty typical, too. I'm definitely not going to blame them for that. They did what they could do.
Well I never tried that before and apparently I'm forced to leave a rating. I won't hold it against them, so five stars it is!!!”

“It just depends on what you’re going for. You will find some stuff cheaper at Walmart or Sam’s but certain items you won’t find at all at Walmart or Sam’s. This is why I like Gordon’s. I also noticed Sam’s sold bulk packs of meat for considerably more than Gordon’s. You can also find those cuts we never see in grocery stores or Sam’s such as the terrace major beef cut (a hidden gem of a cut). Outside skirt steak is also available vs the tough chewy inside skirt steak cut we get at regular grocery stores or Sam’s. This place deserves at least a 4.5 score for “other items” not available to us in regular markets. Those items are not limited to what i mentioned, there is more.”

“This pharmacy is highly recommended. The assistant name, Gio, was awesome. Patient, very helpful with my meds. Explain to me about one med couldn't be 90 pills, only do 30. The doctor on duty was very helpful too. He helped Gio open the difficult tops on several prescriptions. Yes I definitely recommend going to this location.”

“Glenda in the bakery was absolutely amazing! She was super nice and very talented. I placed a cupcake order for my daughter party gave her the cup cake toppers and I had no idea really what colors or anything to ask her to make. So I asked her please just make it cute and OMG she did. They came out so beautiful I absolutely loved them even my daughter loved them so much and they tasted so good.. I definitely will do this again! Thank you Glenda you’re amazing!”
“I found household items in larger quantities than the others ones I visited before. I only gave this 4 stars because the store was very crowded and they only had one cashier??”
“Great place! I walked in for a whole goat.
I was told to walk at the back and choose the goat that I want.
And in less than 20 minutes I had my clean goat.
Very clean place and clean people.
I will be buying my meat there always.

“Overall it's a new store, but like all Dollar General stores the prices are going to be more than places like Walmart or Krogers for example a half gallon of milk is around $3 DG but around $1.75 at Walmart. If this place is close to you, its ok for a few thing if you need them.”
“Great little family store in kingwood, these guys really stay open no matter what, Harvey, Imelda, the snow storm, they are open no matter the situation because they know people need stuff.Got cheap ice, got all sorts of different snacks/drinks and they have the cheapest vape products in all of Texas.”

“First I went in there just to add money to my card. With a kind greeting in a heartfelt welcome buy a new assistant manager it seems. With a connection with her I felt like we knew each other for years , like going to the small towns only general store knowing everybody in town by first name, I walked out feeling truly glad I went there, this is no exaggeration. I asked her if she was the general manager and she said it assistant and I said well I used to work at Dollar general and if I had manager like you in any job, I would love to come work for you. Anyways she needs her own store or she needs to teach hospitality waited tables for 25 years, I know it true hospitality is it's something you really can't teach. What she had was not just walk in the door and somebody screaming hello, her body language it was engaging and I felt like she was glad to be there and she wanted to be there for anyone that was coming into the store. Not recovering not stocking the shelves doing planograms or anyting the store was perfectly clean and organized and she's didn't seem like she didn't want not be there like every store with a. Two thumbs up, what Tom Brady was to football she's got that as a manager or some of that running is any store, bravo.”

“So, I been sick and unable to cook. So I stopped by and got me some warm beef soup with rice, tortillas, cilantro, onion and lemons. The flavors and the texture of the meat and vegetables were great. I enjoy visiting this store as not only you can get warm homemade style food but you can also get your groceries at one stop.”
“I've been going to a lot of dollar stores and dollar generals and this one has been the cleanest most spacious. Your not squeezing into left over products they left. Today I actually gave them thanks for their hard work and it looked like a higher up was there and an elderly couple needed help with the bags because they don't let you take the carts out and he actually grabbed their big bag of dog food and helped take it to their car. He was well dressed tossed the bag over his shoulder. It was nice to see compassion. Cashiers have been cool. And not rude. Hope you have a good experience here.”
“I've been with this pharmacy for the last 6 months or so. Just another pharmacy until.......Insurance dropped my insulin last week and I was in a panic. The lady walked me through the whole process. Wrote my doctor/Insurance on my behalf ,Went completely above and beyond with excellent communication. I wish I remembered her name, but she's an amazing person. HEB is lucky to have her knowledge and care.”

“Aldi store #14, there’s a young lady that she is really fast as a cashier but what makes her stand out is that she always organized the groceries so nicely! I been on a lot of Aldi stores and she is the only one who does that, every one else just throwing into the basket but not her! Thank you Crystal!! You have an amazing customer service.”
