“Aldi store #14, there’s a young lady that she is really fast as a cashier but what makes her stand out is that she always organized the groceries so nicely! I been on a lot of Aldi stores and she is the only one who does that, every one else just throwing into the basket but not her! Thank you Crystal!! You have an amazing customer service.”
“Bellin’s International Grocery is a great place to stock up on Caribbean food and ingredients. They have a nice selection, and the owner has always provided top-notch customer service whenever I’ve visited. Unfortunately, my most recent experience with one of the employees was very different. The woman working there came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming, and the interaction just didn’t have the warm customer-service feel I’ve experienced from the owner. I’m not sure if she is temporary or new, but unfortunately, that experience has kept me from coming back to shop. I’m still giving the business 5 stars because of the excellent service the owner has consistently provided in the past, but I do think this needs to be addressed. A great business can have great products, but customer service matters too. I would hate for one employee’s attitude to negatively affect the reputation of an otherwise great local Caribbean grocery store. Hopefully, the owner sees this because I’d really like to come back.”

“I've never been here before. I really don't feel right giving them a rating over this as my experience was expectedly unsatisfying. I got in a check from an insurance company over an accident that had happened quite a while ago for about $1, 000. It was in the mail when I got home Saturday night. I was looking for a place to get it taken care of on Sunday afternoon when I got around to it and the other places were closed. The ones I would typically go to like Ace Cash across the highway only offer prepaid cards these days, if I remember correctly from last time, which wasn't what I was looking for since there are mostly functionless. It would just take two to three days to transfer from that card to my bank account. Otherwise, I'd be stuck with it on that card and not get any rewards or anything that my bank offers and other accounts. I have set up with it. This isn't a little bit of money for me so I'd hate to miss out on those since I can use any dime I can get my hands on. My buddy has mentioned that he gets this check cashed up here sometimes and lives just up Bender so it's convenient. I stopped in to see if they'd help me, what was told the check cashing is Monday through Friday only. There were no help at 7:00pm on Sunday. But neither was anyone else, So I have a difficult time blaming them for something I was skeptical of in the first place and therefore I'm just letting you know what happened and not leaving a rating. I took it to my bank in the morning which has been wonderful, especially as of lately when my income hasn't been what it was and they really helped me out the other day when I was in need. It's probably for the best. I had some things I was behind on, though, and thought I would sleep better Sunday night if I was able to pay on a couple of them before I laid down. I don't know about that, but I know I predicted correctly that I slept poorly. That's pretty typical, too. I'm definitely not going to blame them for that. They did what they could do. Well I never tried that before and apparently I'm forced to leave a rating. I won't hold it against them, so five stars it is!!!”
“I've been going to a lot of dollar stores and dollar generals and this one has been the cleanest most spacious. Your not squeezing into left over products they left. Today I actually gave them thanks for their hard work and it looked like a higher up was there and an elderly couple needed help with the bags because they don't let you take the carts out and he actually grabbed their big bag of dog food and helped take it to their car. He was well dressed tossed the bag over his shoulder. It was nice to see compassion. Cashiers have been cool. And not rude. Hope you have a good experience here.”

“This is my go-to store. The staff greets you upon walking in. The store is always clean and organized. They have a great selection of hair care products, personal hygiene products, art supplies, and food. I’m surprised at the food selection, and the prices are more cost-effective than other places. The only issue I’ve experienced here is that upon multiple purchases of the pork chops, they smelled a little sour, and I’ve waited to do a review for a year! Everything else is a 9 out of 10.”

“It just depends on what you’re going for. You will find some stuff cheaper at Walmart or Sam’s but certain items you won’t find at all at Walmart or Sam’s. This is why I like Gordon’s. I also noticed Sam’s sold bulk packs of meat for considerably more than Gordon’s. You can also find those cuts we never see in grocery stores or Sam’s such as the terrace major beef cut (a hidden gem of a cut). Outside skirt steak is also available vs the tough chewy inside skirt steak cut we get at regular grocery stores or Sam’s. This place deserves at least a 4.5 score for “other items” not available to us in regular markets. Those items are not limited to what i mentioned, there is more.”
“First I went in there just to add money to my card. With a kind greeting in a heartfelt welcome buy a new assistant manager it seems. With a connection with her I felt like we knew each other for years , like going to the small towns only general store knowing everybody in town by first name, I walked out feeling truly glad I went there, this is no exaggeration. I asked her if she was the general manager and she said it assistant and I said well I used to work at Dollar general and if I had manager like you in any job, I would love to come work for you. Anyways she needs her own store or she needs to teach hospitality waited tables for 25 years, I know it true hospitality is it's something you really can't teach. What she had was not just walk in the door and somebody screaming hello, her body language it was engaging and I felt like she was glad to be there and she wanted to be there for anyone that was coming into the store. Not recovering not stocking the shelves doing planograms or anyting the store was perfectly clean and organized and she's didn't seem like she didn't want not be there like every store with a. Two thumbs up, what Tom Brady was to football she's got that as a manager or some of that running is any store, bravo.”

“Pros: good selection at low prices, a great place to get many everyday items and especially things like sodas, snacks and other junk food type itemsCons: disheveled shelves, less than clean and nice environment, lines are often long and it takes a long time to check though one customerConclusion: if you are looking for low prices on many grocery and pantry as as well as sodas and other "junk food" this is a great place to go. One must temper their expectations to accommodate the fact that it is not a "nice place" like Aldi's or other small grocery vendors. One most also be patient since checkout is slower than average compared to similar stores.”

“So, I been sick and unable to cook. So I stopped by and got me some warm beef soup with rice, tortillas, cilantro, onion and lemons. The flavors and the texture of the meat and vegetables were great. I enjoy visiting this store as not only you can get warm homemade style food but you can also get your groceries at one stop.”
Walmart wants your groceries at the door before the ice cream softens. On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast. Shoppers in those areas can order from more than 100,000 items, everything from fresh produce and baby formula to pet food, electronics, cold medicine, and prescriptions. Behind the scenes, the service leans on Walmart's store network and an algorithm that factors in order size, available drivers, and distance from the store.
Trader Joe's keeps adding stores, and shoppers keep showing up. The California grocer has marked nine more locations as "opening soon," pushing its expansion into new corners of the country. The grocer also took first place in the American Customer Satisfaction Index's 2026 supermarket rankings. It has held a spot near the top of that list for years.
Target is rolling out its most ambitious store overhaul in more than ten years, with plans to remodel over 130 locations and open 30 new stores across the country this year. The retailer is also putting money into supply chain technology upgrades to keep pace with how shoppers buy today.
Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.
Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
