“On September 28th, my mother and I visited the store to learn more about finding the right shoes for working out. We had the pleasure of working with Dylan, who was absolutely amazing. We spent about three hours in the store, each trying on four different styles. Dylan was incredibly patient and conducted a foot scan for both of us, educating us about the importance of proper fit for comfort, balance, and alignment during exercise. Since I’m new to working out and proper shoe fitting, Dylan took his time with both my mother and me, ensuring we felt comfortable and confident with our choices. I will definitely recommend this store and Dylan to anyone on their fitness journey.”

“I brought in a broken club today, looking to replace the shaft. Instead of high grossing me like the PGA store tried to do, he took a few mins. and gave me options; spend x$'s rebuilding your club or I can sell you one just like it for less. Of course, I opted for the complete club. Not to besmirch the other place, but their minimum to change the shift and grip was at $100. Clubfinders can do it for way less and always have a comparable shaft in the moderate price range.”

“this was my first time ever at a rei store. i recently got into rock climbing and i’ve been very unsure about my shoes. a worker, named traci, came by to help me out multiple times. she was very informational and patient; she explained the membership to us (which we got) and helped us find the correct sizes in multiple products! she was genuinely the best! i get off work late so i was there until closing unfortunately but everyone was so kind and knew what they were talking about. hannah helped out at checkout and told us more things about the membership we didn’t know and she helped us out a ton with the rock climbing shoes questions we have, because, she too is a rock climber! overall an amazing experience and every member of staff we met was so kind and willing to help in every way! thank you rei plano!!!”

I was able to make a big custom basketball jersey purchase in just minutes with their guidance on all the various options and combinations, they have an excellent selection. “A very nice young man by the name of Evan assisted my wife and I yesterday. He exhibited service I have not experienced in a very long time. He was not only friendly and courteous, but he offered to go to the back and look for additional sizes, without us asking him to do that. We mentioned that we were Clemson fans and he offered us coupon codes without us asking for that. He saw that the dressing room was not tidy so he cleaned it up and honestly apologized. Just a very good experience. It was a very pleasant experience and we felt like we had gone back in time.”

I buy items that are quality, that hold up stand the test of time and have a company that will stand behind their product. I have never been let down by Filson products. I don’t normally write reviews, but I am a believer in giving praise when it is justified. On a recent visit to the Plano, Filson store, the manager Natashia Barkins went out of her way, and spent several hours helping me with a couple of issues, hands-down one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
