“I bought an old car with an old, out of state license plate. I tried all the internet tricks to get the rusted bolts off. I researched and saw that one person online with a similar problem (in another state) was charged over $200 just for replacing the tag at their mechanic's! This was steep, but I needed it done. I also needed them to drill holes for the front license plate as well. I went into Big D prepared to sink further into debt for such a silly problem. When it came time to pay, I thought he'd made a mistake when he said it was under $40 AND I'd also gotten an oil change! They charged me NOTHING for the tags! Right now, I have a beater I need to baby for a bit and was looking for a mechanic after just moving here 4 months ago. I am beyond grateful to have found one. Thank you, Big D - you guys are amazing and I can see why your ratings are so high. I'll be talking you up from here on out.”

“I first found out about this store when I had a car battery that went dead. Someone gave me a quick jump and I went to a garage and they are the ones that told me that interstate battery would be able to replace my battery. From the time I got there until the time I left with my new car battery installed, it was less than 30 minutes. Since that time, I take my watches to them when the batteries die, and the salesman quickly replaces them with new batteries. If you have any batteries that you use for your garage door opener or perhaps your fan, remote, they have a large selection of those batteries that are always so difficult to find. I was there last week, and while a gentleman was replacing a watch battery for me, I found several very bright flashlights that also flash red or will stay solid red. I bought two of them for my son and his wife so that they can keep them in their glove compartment in case of an emergency. I highly recommend Interstate All Battery Center.”

“Had to get the super clean super duty repairedI was losing coolant quickly, and it didn’t look like it was a simple fix to me, and I was sure that wasn’t going to be all because I was experiencing a little lack of power and some blow back from the turbo exhaust tube under the hood but when I had Had no other choice but to have it repaired immediately. I was thankful that I was able to get it in for service without having to wait for another day to make an appointment and I was very pleased that what I’m told is a three day job was done just under two days, another need I had they were able to fulfill and that was I needed a loaner. My F250 is my only vehicle it does it all but mommy needed to go to the doctor. She has glaucoma and dementia and I was happy to have a nice clean F150 loaner so that I could get my mother to her eye doctor appointment.”

“Honest guys! Toyota wanted over $4000 to replace my transmission after running a full diagnostic. Lonestar said it needed a simple repair and I appreciate their honesty. UPDATE - 10/30/23 We just traded the Toyota Tacoma mentioned above. The transmission was still perfect after 240,000 miles. No problems with the repair in 8 years and 130,000 additional miles”

“Fast and friendly service. I have a diesel, and did full synthetic oil change, fuel filters, washer fluid, windshield wipers, and inspection done. In and out in 30 minutes. They had several guys working, more than they had people waiting, so well staffed. While sitting in the lobby, I watched various guys interact with people from all walks of life, and they were all super friendly and courteous. I even watched as they trained a couple guys. Will be back.”
