I took her in and right away Chelsea listened to my concerns and said she would take her time and constantly evaluate her to make sure there was no stress. What an amazing job Chelsea did! She really paid great attention to detail and took awesome care of my elderly dog. I am SO happy with the outcome and thankful for this place and their wonderful employee Chelsea! My furbaby has never looked so good!

They were recommended by a friend, and I couldn’t be more thankful. I’ve taken my toy poodle, Blue, to several groomers in the past, but I was never fully satisfied, either they cut too much or left her hair too long. But with Dakota, Blue came out perfect. It’s been five days since her grooming and her coat is still incredibly soft.
They took their time and were so gentle and patient, which means a lot because grooming has always been a bit traumatic for Blue. Since her visit with Dakota, she lets me brush her every day with no problem. that’s a first!
Highly recommend Dakota Grooming. They truly care and it shows in their work.

I just returned home from a month long trip. My precious pup was well feed and cared for while I was away. A special shout-out to Dr. Carter for the wonderful work he has done with my senior pup, Mocha, especially when she fell very ill after ingesting spoiled food, and through the many tooth extractions that followed. His calm demeanor and deep knowledge have helped me make the best decisions for her, and he consistently goes above and beyond to provide thoughtful updates and clear communication. In moments that feel especially vulnerable, this level of care makes a world of difference.
My kitten hasn't seen Dr. Carter yet, but is also a current client here, and that says a lot about how much I trust this team. I’ve moved farther away and logistically it would make sense to switch vets, but I honestly can’t imagine going anywhere else. Thank you for everything!

Their bed side manner is on point!! You’d be surprised at how many vets don’t care about that and are strictly business. They provide treats for your fur baby and are sweet and gentle. They also accept care credit which makes payment so much easier. My cats were worn out this morning and let me sleep in for the first time in a while lol. I highly recommend!!! 1812 Southeastern Trail, Round RockI have used Fur Your Pets, Erica, twice now and each time I remind myself to write a review! Well, the first time I met Erica, she came to the house to meet my Basset Hound and Shih Tzu - I have never seen Sam, the Basset take to someone outside his family so quickly, he absolutely LOVES Erica. We have also dubbed her the "Sam Whisperer" as she can get him to take medicine like no one else!! (lol). Erica stayed at the house for a weekend that I had to go out of town. She sent pictures often and when I came home, the two fur family members were so relaxed and happy! Well, Sam, was sad that she left, but that's good, too! Erica is very, very trustworthy and takes great care of animals. She even did other things like water the plants outside and things like that! It was wonderful. It's the very first time I had someone in my home for a weekend to watch the dogs that wasn't family and it was absolutely no issue at all. :) The second time was when I had to go out of town just for the day and it was kind of last minute, but Erica came through!! Sam was so happy to see her as well. My Shih Tzu also loves her. Anyway, I just have to tell you all that I would trust Erica in my home, with my pets any time!!! She is absolutely wonderful!
Update - I still use Fur Your Pets and Erica - she is family to my Bassett Hound, Shih Tzu, and 2 very large cats... they love her!!!

106 S Mays St #100, Round RockI got two 16oz specialty coffees- Rose Honey and Irish Cream, which were recommended as semi-sweet options. They were a bit on the pricey side at about $15 for both (higher-end for coffee).
The Rose Honey had a nice rosy scent that came through at the end, and it was really enjoyable. We were hoping for some latte art, but it didn’t show up. Overall though, I’d still recommend this place, it’s a cute little spot, perfect for hanging out and enjoying a good coffee.

The Ruby Hotel
400 Fannin Ave, Round RockI had a really lovely stay at the Ruby Hotel in Round Rock. The property has a fun, slightly campy charm while still feeling modern and thoughtfully designed — overall, it’s just a very cute place to stay.
The food was genuinely excellent, and the service was warm and attentive throughout. The bed was also a standout — more comfortable than what I’ve experienced at most four-star hotels. I also loved the in-room Nespresso machine, which was a great touch.
The only drawbacks are the location and setting. It’s not ideal if you want to be close to a more metropolitan, walkable area, and being right on the creek means there can be quite a few bugs, especially in the evening.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing, stylish getaway with great food and very comfortable rooms.

The fries are MID but atleast everything is somewhat “healthier” compared to other places. They sometimes take a while to bring your food out but it’s understandable for the most part since it’s almost always busy. Flying dutchman with onion wrap IS CRAZY GOOD and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t like onions and rarely eats them.
