Lynda has been incredibly patient, gentle, and understanding, helping Bella feel safe and comfortable every step of the way.
It’s clear that Lynda truly loves and cares for the pets she grooms, and Bella absolutely adores her. Every visit leaves Bella looking beautiful, happy, and well cared for. We had to get Ava’s eye removed which was traumatic but they made it as smooth as possible and they truly want the best for our fur kids. Ava is already feeling better compared to the painful eye ulcer that would just not heal and we just want to thank Dr Carter for his support and hard work it took to do the procedure. 🙏🫶🏼

2019 North Mays Street, Round RockDogwood Animal Clinic is the best! I went there the first time at least 14 years ago. @Pat Webster asked to take their gorgeous dog there when she was in Europe and I’ve been raving fan ever since.
I’m not sure if they’re cheapest, I haven’t looked, but they are honest with a big heart.
If you’re looking for a vet in Round Rock, I can’t recommend this one enough. #dogwoodanimalclinic

1220 East McNeil Road, Round RockReferral, intake, patient portal, and facilities were all too grade experiences. As were the nice ladies in the front desk. The vet tech that we were with was not very caring or compassionate with our loved one. Our pup was nervous and we explained it. When we asked if he or we could carry her instead of drag her with her leash he told us it would be alright. We informed him that she might need to p but she would not for us before we came inside and he said they would make her pee. The vet was kind but very technical and not at all compassionate when explaining the preliminary results. It was almost perfect except the vet/vet tech. We witnessed others and their interactions with different vet and tech and we both felt we got cheated somehow because of the difference in care. We witnessed other vet and vet techs interactions with clients and felt cheated somehow. We just got bad luck I think. I would still use them again and check it up to bad luck

Legend did so well getting his annual shots, and of course, he was a very happy boy leaving with a belly full of treats!
I also love that the vet is within walking distance from our home, which makes it so convenient for us. Thank you to the entire team for taking such great care of Legend and making his visit such a positive experience! ❤

We called Hip Hounds and they were able to get Stanley in for an immediate evaluation. They were so helpful and really eased our concerns. I loved watching him play around on the webcam and the photos that we’d get every few days. I never once had to worry about his health or safety because I knew I could trust that he was in good hands.
Thank you, Hip Hounds, for taking such good care of our little man! We know he’s not always the easiest (or the quietest) but you handled him with such love and care nonetheless.

A Crate Escape
1301 North Interstate Hwy 35, Round RockMy husband found A Crate Escape when we were desperately looking for another boarding facility to board our dog shortly after her medical emergency. Other facilities simply said no, their staff wasn’t experienced enough to take on this kind of boarder.
There were a lot of unknowns, but the staff was so easy to work with. We had already delayed our vacation, but we weren’t sure if our dog would still need medical boarding. When I tell you these folks were flexible, that would be an understatement. Our dog ended up being cleared for all normal activities the night before we dropped her off and we switched to non-medical boarding, they did a behavior assessment for daycare, and she was able to romp around with other dogs while she was there. The daily report cards with pictures and videos were great!
I am so thankful to A Crate Escape for taking care of my dog while I was away. They allowed me to fully relax after so much unexpected chaos! 10/10 recommend!!!

Fur Your Pets
1812 Southeastern Trail, Round RockI have used Fur Your Pets, Erica, twice now and each time I remind myself to write a review! Well, the first time I met Erica, she came to the house to meet my Basset Hound and Shih Tzu - I have never seen Sam, the Basset take to someone outside his family so quickly, he absolutely LOVES Erica. We have also dubbed her the "Sam Whisperer" as she can get him to take medicine like no one else!! (lol). Erica stayed at the house for a weekend that I had to go out of town. She sent pictures often and when I came home, the two fur family members were so relaxed and happy! Well, Sam, was sad that she left, but that's good, too! Erica is very, very trustworthy and takes great care of animals. She even did other things like water the plants outside and things like that! It was wonderful. It's the very first time I had someone in my home for a weekend to watch the dogs that wasn't family and it was absolutely no issue at all. :) The second time was when I had to go out of town just for the day and it was kind of last minute, but Erica came through!! Sam was so happy to see her as well. My Shih Tzu also loves her. Anyway, I just have to tell you all that I would trust Erica in my home, with my pets any time!!! She is absolutely wonderful!
Update - I still use Fur Your Pets and Erica - she is family to my Bassett Hound, Shih Tzu, and 2 very large cats... they love her!!!

What sets him apart is that his approach goes far beyond teaching basic commands like sit, stay, and down. He focuses on understanding the underlying psychology of dogs, helping them learn how to manage their emotions, build confidence, and make better decisions on their own.
His knowledge is impressive, but what truly makes him exceptional is his passion. Every session is energetic, engaging, and genuinely fun to watch. Andrew brings an enthusiasm that is contagious, and it's clear he loves what he does. In fact, I'm not entirely convinced who enjoys the training sessions more, our dog or Andrew!
We could not have asked for a better guide during this important transition, and the progress we've seen in our puppy has been remarkable. I would recommend Andrew without hesitation to anyone looking for a trainer who delivers far more than obedience training.

The pancakes were nice and fluffy, and the Huevos Rancheros were a great savory breakfast option. They also have a huge selection of interesting and creative coffee drinks, but even the regular coffee was excellent! We really enjoyed the relaxed, casual atmosphere, perfect for a Sunday morning breakfast. Definitely a nice spot to start the day!
