“I stopped by early in the morning to send an Express Priority envelope that needed guaranteed overnight/2‑day delivery. I got there around 7:40 AM, and even though they don’t open until 8, they keep envelopes available inside near the lockers. That was actually really convenient. I was able to get everything filled out before the doors opened.
At 8:00 on the dot, they opened, and I was helped by Sharon. She was genuinely friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. She walked me through the differences between the Express and Priority options, including delivery times and pricing, and made sure I picked the right one for what I needed.

“Located at street level inside the 2 Houston Center. Open from 10 am-4 pm. Closed for lunch from 12:55 pm-1 pm. If she’s stepped away, there will be a note on the door. Theres only one lady working this post office and she’s great! Always scans and ships my packages quickly. I get the “package scanned for tracking” info minutes after dropping off.”

“If you’re coming to RENEW your passport you don’t have to wait in line near the mailboxes vestibule. Go into the little USPS store itself and just tell them you want to RENEW. Have all paperwork printed and already filled out, with the passport photos. Then just pay and leave. I was in there less than ten minutes. I saved myself probably 1.5-2 hours time if you are coming here to do a passport RENEWAL now you KNOW.”
“You will go through security and you will pass the cafeteria to get to the post office.The attendant helped me a lot to have my items fit into an envelope vs. a box which saved me some money. It was quick and easy.”

“I do wish this location had a drop box at the front. I am usually dropping off packages and I can quickly do that by walking in and setting on the counter. The cashiers are friendly when I ask questions and the people at the package pickup door are always nice and have a good sense of humor.”

Its a government building and we all know how government employees can be but I was quite surprised on how great of an attitude and service was compared to other USPS locations. I actually thought the building was abandoned from the looks outside and Could use some paint and clean up. A++ on service”

“I'm looking at the reviews here and they indicate it's always closed. I have honestly come here 3 times in the past year and have thankfully not run into this issue. But I also notice there is just one person always running the register. The post office staff have always been nice and helpful. Especially Ms. Walker. She has always been friendly and kind.
This is one of the few USPS locations that have always shipped out my package without losing them. I'm thankful for that.”
