I really like the convenience of having Sephora in store. Parking is always plentiful and easy.”

“I visited the store right at opening time so I can understand the dilemma that I had with them. But the workers were actually still sweeping underneath the racks of clothing and there was piles of dirt and trash around. But I do understand that. I'm pretty sure that the night shift does not usually perform those duties before they leave, but it would have been a better experience if they had done it before. They actually opened the doors because me and my wife came in and the young lady who was sweeping asked us to move out of the way so she could sweep down the aisle that we were perusing the clothing items and I thought that was a little weird. But other than that little hiccup I've never had a problem out of this location and I think they do a fantastic job with their duties”

“Typically, there are two types of Walmarts I have encountered. Those that are really nice and those that are horrible. This is one of the nicest Walmarts I have been to. It has an excellent grocery department with fresh produce and good meats. I have gone here for incidental purchases and they have a great variety of items for automotive, home repairs, gardening, grill accessories, hygiene products and more. Lots of space and things are arranged well within the store and are easy to find. Staff is very friendly, yesterday I was having trouble getting a plastic bag open at the automated checkout lane and a man immediately was there to help me. The electronics department is great as well and it is not hard to find someone to open the case to get a product like a game to purchase. I do wish they would not have people in the store doing promotions. Most days I go they have people by the pet food doing promotions for phone or cable or charity's. Makes it less fun to shop when I feel like there are people judging me. Also Saturday mornings are for shoppers that do not like noise. They have low sensory hours during Saturday mornings here, and while this is not an issue for me, I still enjoy going during this time as you don't have all the noises the machines make constantly going off. A nice experience.”

“This Walmart just happened to be in the area I was currently in, and I was happy I stopped by to make a quick return and grabbed some wings from the deli! Return was a quick and easy process without any issues. Stopped by the deli a few times however I kept getting caught behind customers ordering the same wings I wanted to buy. Each time I decided to come back, I was stuck behind another person. After the second person, I decided okay the wings are running out, I should stay here before it's all gone. By the time I was next, the wings leftover wasn't worth purchasing... mind you 12 wings is about $15+. I asked if they could make me a fresh back, and that they did! No questions asked! Took them about 7 mins and I came back in 10, just in time for them to set them out. The guy picked me out the best wings and I was super happy! Definitely will be stopping by here again for my wings craving if I am ever back in this area!”

The Cincinnati-based supermarket giant will open about 110 new stores in fast-growing markets by 2029 and introduce three updated store formats, executives told investors Oct. 20 at the company’s Investor Update in New York. Kroger already runs about 2,700 stores in 35 states. The formats come in three sizes, a bit like small, medium and large, matched to each market. Mary Ellen Adcock, Kroger’s executive vice president and chief merchant and marketing officer, walked through the lineup.
Walmart shoppers want a head start on the holidays, and money explains a lot of it. Some 44% of respondents call affording the holidays their top stressor, and 61% say holiday costs shape their shopping mood. Asked what would make the season easier, 70% picked lower prices and 57% picked more deals and promotions. Convenience ranks lower: 30% want one-stop shopping across categories, and 20% want faster delivery.
Target is rolling out its most ambitious store overhaul in more than ten years, with plans to remodel over 130 locations and open 30 new stores across the country this year. The retailer is also putting money into supply chain technology upgrades to keep pace with how shoppers buy today.
