“My sister in law gifted me some converse for my birthday which ended up being too small so I went up to the store to see if I could swap them for a bigger size without the receipt and the lady that worked there was so nice and helpful! I think her name was Kim but I'm not 100 percent sure. I was in and out of the store in less than two minutes.
When I got home I realized that even though I tried on the shoes at the store they were still a bit too small. I must have gained some weight in my feet the last couple of years because 8 and 1/2 converse used to fit me perfectly. I have social anxiety and I almost never return stuff so I was embarrassed to go back up there and trade my shoes in again but Kim (once again not 100 percent that's her name) was so helpful and understanding! Now I know that I'm a size 9 for converse ?. I think my feet just got fat with the rest of me. Anyway had a great experience would recommend!”

“The employees are very nice and friendly lots of clothes to choose from, I understand people just grab stuff and throw it everywhere instead of putting it back where they got it from so the store seemed a bit disorganized but other than that yes I will continue to go back and I do recommend it to others.”
“Their boots were amazing. I have purchased three pairs of boots there. The customer service is amazing. George and Paul are experts in their field. I just had a pair of boots re-soled there, and I was blown away by the quality of their work. My wife loves her pair of custom boots, and I have anorher pair being made now.”

“Academy is always a reliable place to find basic to some not so basic sporting goods needs. You can almost always find good deals on clothing (even better on clearance items). We usually shop for baseball, fishing gear, and clothes and find unique items other stores don't carry.
The only con I can say is there is hardly ever any help out on the sales floor. But, this has become pretty common with most big box stores now. But we still love coming here!”
“I would like to recognize Randall for providing outstanding customer service. I needed to find these items for an upcoming event, so it was important that I get everything I needed. Randall went out of his way to help me search for the pools. Even after we checked the area where they were supposed to be, the shelves were empty. Instead of giving up, he kept trying, checked the inventory system, and discovered the items had been placed in a different location. Thanks to his persistence and dedication, I was able to find everything I needed in time for my event. Randall's patience, determination, and positive attitude made my shopping experience exceptional.
