“My husband has been training at RTG for 2 1/2 years, and I recently joined a few months ago, and training here has been life changing.
My husband has always disliked going to the generic, overpacked gyms in DFW, so he loves how intimate and personal RTG is. He is always looking forward to working out with Greg and Ryan 3x a week, and he has never felt healthier and stronger.
I have always been the type to go to Pilates and group workout classes, but ever since becoming pregnant, I wanted a workout program more tailored to my pregnancy journey. Greg created a personalized program that is continuously changing to match my pregnancy needs as my body is also changing. He even incorporated breathing exercises specifically for labor, which is above and beyond what I would get at any other gym.

When I started, I was limping from knee pain, felt like I was 20 years older than I am, and was losing sleep when just rolling over in bed caused enough knee pain to wake me up!
Last week I went for a 12 mile run in prep for a 100k ultramarathon in October, and I got my first 14er the next day at Mount Elbert in Colorado. Back to back days, 24 miles, over 6000’ of vertical. Knee pain? ZERO! I am ecstatic!
I’m excited to see what I’m capable of now that my movement patterns support my joint health rather than doing damage.”

“Recently moved into Texas from Vegas/Cali with my baby. I intuitively looked into Barre3 and felt called to check it out. They offer play lounge for children under 6 yrs old. My 1 yr old joined as part of his first time in any daycare style. He was upset and hesitant at first, but after 2 months, he went to his teacher willingly with open arms and smiles!
The Barre classes are fun with upbeat music. My posture and core became stronger after 2 weeks. My jeans loosened. I’m usually the non-commital type but this studio was so enjoyable that I chose to sign a monthly membership. Their contract is fair and easy to cancel (if I choose to).
Tammy, the owner, is impeccable with her email communication to my needs and concerns. I love and appreciate the staff. So grateful to have found this place so close to my new home.”

“I joined this gym about 1.5 years ago and it has (surprisingly) become something that I look forward to everyday.
I was never athletic. I hated P.E. when I was in school and never liked exercising either when I was older. After having two kids and working from home (sitting in front of my computer all day) for a while, I felt terrible both emotionally and physically. I tried different types of workouts and classes. Nothing lasted long until I came to CheckPoint CrossFit.
I was exhausted after my trial class. I felt sore everywhere for almost a week. However, I actually enjoyed the workout. It was fun. People were friendly. Coach Darrel was very encouraging. The gym is not big but is very well organized and clean. Going back there for my 2nd, 3rd and many many more classes was the best decision I’ve ever made. More importantly, this is not a place that I go because I paid for a membership, but a place that a go because I love it. I feel stronger and more confident everyday. From “No way”, to “I’ll try”, to “I made it”, this gym keeps me challenged, makes me proud of myself, and helped me find a new version of myself.
Thank you Coach Darrel and Suzi for being such good role models - not just in the gym but also in life! Besides the workouts, you also demo’ed self discipline, consistency, respect and passion in every way.
