We have 3 cats, and they helped us get through a difficult time with 1 cat that had cancer and another with teeth problems. They'll run discounts to help with things like teeth cleanings and help you schedule to fit for your budget and help your fur babies!

Animal Health Centre
4750 S Colony Blvd # 106, The ColonyDr. Chris Durham has been my vet since 2020. First - in 2020, he wasn't scared to let people come in the room with their pets and be with them - he encouraged it. He is thoughtful, very thorough and has seen me through a cat with cancer, another cat with thyroid disease, heart disease, beginning kidney disease and blindness. I'm writing this as we are iced in. Before the storm hit, I called because my cat was having what seemed to be a neurological episode (probably cardiovascular now that i know more) He got on the phone with me and directed me to another animal hospital, because if he needed overnight care, his team doesn't do that - which i already knew and respected. I ended up at MedVet Dallas - told them that his vet was Chris. They sent over all of my pet's paperwork and low and behold, the AM of the ice-pocolypse, Dr. Durham calls me with his information, discussing what was found, next course of action and what we would do. I told him to be safe on the streets and he said it was a priority for him to come in, in case anyone needed him and his team. I can't express my gratitude enough to him and his team. He will always be my trusted veterinarian.

It’s a bit of a shame that they charge for every thing else so you always feel like they’re trying to upsell you… but you’re definitely not forced to buy anything extra.
But overall we love how friendly the staff are and appreciate the amenities we do get!

I had one of their lunch specials, #12 Half Chicken Quesadilla, Choice of Avocado ensalada or bowl of soup, I picked ensalada (both were delicious and had a lot of flavor) my husband had the burrito ( it was huge of course) we both had leftovers! So as it turns out, when you get a doggie bag, it comes with chips and salsa to take home! We enjoy the chips and salsa at the table and the chips were so good, it was warm and the salsa was just perfect!

Another Broken Egg Cafe
3700 Plano Parkway, Suite 500, The ColonyAte here a few weeks ago, and I highly recommend it. Maggie is a fantastic server. They have a pretty extensive vegetarian menu, and while I don’t need gluten free, it’s really nice to see that they have several options for people who do need that. The vegetarian huevos rancheros are excellent. I had also been here a few months before that, and their beignets are delicious. I am not big on sweets, so while the cinnamon roll french toast was perfect, it was just a little too rich for me. If you love sweets, you have to try that. Looking forward to trying more of their food next time I am town.

My personal favorite is the crème brûlée dirty boba it’s rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet. The caramelized top adds an amazing flavor. Definitely a must-try if you’re a boba lover.

Pawsome Playground Dog Park
4800 E Lake Highlands Dr, The ColonyThis place is so good. My dog loves to come here and run around all the dogs she meets. She is old so running isn't her strongest skill right now, but with all that space how can she not? The park is ENORMOUS and plenty of space for all sorts of puppy dogs. There is a small park and a big park. And there is even a training park at the far end. My dog liked this place so much I had to carry her out because she wanted to keep sniffin everyone elses dog. Shoutout
