“Went to the Paseo bar in the Estancia Del Norte and my bartender Angel provided great service. Excellent drink recommendations and great conversation! I would definitely come back”
“everything was good except for the lobster pasta it was to much oil I couldn't eat it, I took it home to eat later and got more oily.overall is good but i didn't enjoyed the pasta and it was my birthday but I didn't complain, beer isn't in the menu you have to ask for it then have like 4 options the one we choose was really good.”

“Joel Mayorga was a great employee , he made my valet parking an experience I’ve never had before! A trustworthy hotel for your family get away , thank you Joel for making my first time experience here the best !”
“The down sides to the room: Street Noise! Hallway Noise and it was COLD!!! I could not get it warm enough to sleep.
Staff is nothing shy of AMAZING!!! Valet went and grabbed me a travel mug out of my car.
Room service OMG! Absolutely Above and beyond! I didn't need house keeping but I needed coffee pods, Splenda and creamer. My Server more than took care of my needs. Did mention my dinner? Steak was cooked exactly as ordered. Asparagus was tender and flavored just right. Baby potatoes, melt away! The only thing on my room service tray that was over priced, ice tea! But my server took care of that also!”

“Older yet facility with great modern updates. Huge corner rooms! Ideal location on the River Walk. Parking is relatively high but Overall great place to stay!
More affordable parking can be found about 3-4 blocks away on College St & St. Mary.”
“The rooms at this hotel are very functional, with a very nice couch, tables and other amenities that a lot of other hotels don't have. Very contemporary hotel with great location on the river.”

“The history behind this building and its fantastic location are the attraction! Just a walk across the street to the Alamo and Riverwalk. ? For a great view of the Alamo, try to get a high floor, low room number. ? The rooms are standard, well appointed, but ready for an update. The rumor is this place is haunted but we've never had a special visitor ? in our multiple stays.”

“We had a great stay and wanted to shout out a few team members who really made it special.
Sarai at check-in was awesome—super friendly and welcoming, and she made getting settled really easy after a long trip.
Diane in the breakfast area was fantastic too. Everything was clean and well-stocked, and she was so attentive and kind—it made breakfast a really pleasant part of the day. And the coffee was perfect :)
Shay at checkout made leaving smooth and easy, and was just as friendly and professional as everyone else on the team.
The room itself was very comfortable and spotless—I’ve added a couple of photos so you can see the bed area and the bathroom.
The service all around was excellent, and these three really made our stay memorable. I’d definitely come back here.
Thank you to the entire team.”

“I stayed at their Hollering Pass for IFF and had an amazing time! Jenny is super accommodating and responsive. The house itself was also amazing. It had a hot tub, grill, two living rooms, everyone in the house had their own bathrooms, and was a great location. Never had any issues, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a pit pad for their stay at Randolph!”
“Stayed here at the GHSARW last week and what a nice hotel! We had a little issue getting checked in but Yasi at the front desk was very nice, professional, and solutions focused. It was resolved very quickly all thanks to her stepping in. Thanks again Yasi!
Highly recommended hotel!”

“The room itself was honestly underwhelming. Basic, dated, and lacking any real comfort. The furniture looked like it had been there since the ‘90s, the walls were thin enough to hear everything in the hallway, and the overall vibe was more “cheap barracks” than actual hotel. It technically served its purpose, but that’s about the best thing I can say.
The location, though, was even worse. This place is literally on a military base. Getting in and out felt like a chore, with checkpoints and detours making the simplest trip frustrating. And once you’re finally off base, there’s nothing close by no restaurants, no shops, no attractions. Unless you enjoy staring at fences and barbed wire, there’s nothing here worth the stay.
What really saved the experience was the service. Sage went above and beyond. She was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. She even brought me a fan when my rooms AC went out and an extra pillow without me having to ask twice, which made a huge difference. Every interaction with her made things smoother and more enjoyable, and that kind of effort doesn’t go unnoticed. Sage is cool.”
“Room was clean and pretty good shape. Our family of five fit well in the twin queen, one room suite with the pull out couch. The beds were a bit worn with the firmness around the outside and a bowl in the middle that we rolled into. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast was great with lots of choices and well maintained. We would go back next time we have an early flight out of SAT which is 15min away. Single elevator with door that closed too fast was a tiny annoyance.”

“Our stay at O’Casey’s Boutique Inn – Bed & Breakfast in San Antonio was nothing short of magical! From the moment we walked through the charming old doors, we felt wrapped in warmth, comfort, and genuine hospitality. The Inn itself is a perfect blend of historic character and modern coziness—every corner tells a story, and every detail is so thoughtfully cared for.
A very special thank you to Amanda, who hosted us with such grace, kindness, and heart. She went above and beyond to make us feel right at home—welcoming us with a smile, anticipating our needs before we even voiced them, and filling our stay with personal touches that made all the difference. Amanda’s care turned what could have been just a nice trip into an unforgettable experience.
The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt like a true retreat after exploring the city. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and served with that same warm touch that makes this place stand out from anywhere else we’ve stayed.
If you’re looking for a stay that feels both luxurious and like being part of a family, O’Casey’s is the spot. We left with full hearts, happy memories, and already dreaming of our return. Thank you, Amanda, for making it all so special—you’re the soul of this beautiful Inn! ?”
“Location, location, location. Walk out right to river walk. Perfect location. Great valentines spot. Only problem. Is two Marriots next to each other. Even when not tipsy went to wrong one. Everyone was great helping though. Valet parking was easy. Nothing bad to say.”

“This hotel is excellent!! John at the front desk might be one of my favorite people I have ever met. I got myself in a pickle and he worked diligently to make sure my husband and I were taken care of. The rooms were nice, beds super comfy, and breakfast tasty. We have a few more trips to make out to the San Antonio area this summer and no matter the distance to where we are going (volleyball tournament, Sea World, Six Flags, etc.) we will stay at this Hampton location mostly because of John. He's retiring soon and we are sad because customer service like that is few and far between these days! Thank you Hampton and thank you John!!”

“Wen we got in our room I was coming out of the restroom then I heard the cleaning lady put her key in and open the door, she didn't knock and say this is housekeeping. Your staff need more training. I was very upset, I was happy I had clothes on.”
“The hotel seems new and so clean. Staff were great. We were nervous coming in since it’s off the feeder and lots of construction. But the hotel had security and the back of the hotel overlooked a golf course. We could swim and watch golfers and deer. Very peaceful.”

“Hotel Havana, a total gem. Shane thank you for the warmest greetings upon our arrival on our special day as it truly started the mood off right for the perfect day. We appreciate the kindness you showed to us and our senior pug, Daisy.
The entire experience was wonderful. We had a beautiful place to experience love and we hope to return - we hope this isn't the end but a beginning.”
“Don’t let any 3 star ratings sway you from this greatness! Attended a conference and needed a reset. The entire staff were helpful, the masseuse was excellent, and the facilities are amazing. Enjoy the hot or steam sauna all day with day spa service. Highly recommend.”
“Great stay! Room was very clean and spacious! The breakfast has variety and the staff is very courteous and will make sure the breakfast trays have food at all times! Highly recommend it!”
“I wish I had remembered the lady at the front desk name she was so kind and welcoming. Everything about this hotel was nice. It's very clean, the staff was great.. Its everything you want when you go out of town, because you want to be comfortable!!”
“A special recognition to Mrs. Debra who was working the front desk Sunday May 10, 2026 at 10:00pm. She was so nice, very professional, and went out of her way to find us a room on the 1st floor. This was our first time staying at a Best Western Plus. We wanted something within 10 minutes of the Alamo without paying an arm and a leg. This location is secluded, quiet, safe and next to a whataburger for those of us that sleep in and miss the really good breakfast that is included with your stay. The grounds and inside were clean. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the a/c worked really well and there were no bugs and no mold. (This was a huge complaint in reviews at other hotels in the radius I was searching) Also, make sure to book your room online with the hotel website it will save you a lot of money.”

“I appreciate that we didn't have any problems checking in. We love Candlewood hotels. I will suggest that the front desk at least have a smile on their face. So people can feel welcome. But this location accepts pets, and because of that, there were fleas in our room, and we got bit. We didn't complain because we didn't check to see if the hotel was a pet-free hotel. The location looked a bit sketchy, but there was camera surveillance, so that was a bit comforting. Checking out was kind of weird because we went to check out, and they had already checked us out, and they didn't give us a receipt either.
Rooms: Rooms didn't look so clean, but I take my own cleaning supplies and cleaned the bathroom myself just in case. And ask for clean bedsheets and comforter.”
“I have been staying in 4-5 star hotels recently and this hotel surpassed my expectations. The room was extremely clean. The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained. Even the stairwells were very clean. Breakfast was included and it was great. Everything was warm and stocked. The entire staff was very helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel.”
