“Backdrop: 10 & 7 yo boys getting shoes with grandma - who is having a good day during chemo, but still feeling wiped out. Go to FF because it’s right next to ON and can do both in 1 stop. Not sure where to most efficiently start so ask - Abby points me in the correct direction. 7 yr old takes 10 minutes. Abby asks halfway through if we are finding everything, which at that point I was. But 30 min in can’t find anything that fits 10yo. I am fading very fast. I spy Abby and ask for more help. She returns in a couple of minutes arms full of various sizes, brands and styles. By this time I wish i could lie down but clearly that’s not an option!! Abby disappears again after we sorted through what she had brought, and returns quickly with perfect fits and options! She clearly sensed I needed real help and just did what she could to get the job done. When I got to the register it was Abby behind the counter. “I’d love to speak to your manager,” I said, “but I bet that’s you!” She just smiled. So I went ahead and complimented her on the CS, told her how great Abby was, but there was no one higher up to tell what an awesome representative of the company Abby had been. My guess is Abby treats all her customers like she did me, and for all I know, she didn’t have any idea how sick I was feeling. But her attitude is reflected in the store - organization, cleanliness, clear signage, good service. She is a model to her team, and she has instilled that positivity and helpfulness in them. In my whole life, I have never had such impeccable customer service, and I used to train retailers in CS. So I hope Abby’s manager, wherever they are, reads this and gives her a shout out. And oh, yes! Great shoes!! We came away with 4 pair!!!”

I went in with a specific fishing net in mind just because it was the cheapest I could find and asked Ryan for help and he immediately tried helping me find a higher quality net that fit my budget.
